The only thing JabraEnhancePro does is make you restart your hearing aids in order to use it and the settings for hearing devices within Apple‘s settings does everything JabraEnhancePro does already and you don’t have to restart your hearing aids to get the different modes to work. Some people will say well you can’t get favorites from Apple settings but any favorites you happen to create with JabraEnhancePro disappear as soon as an update comes out so you start from scratch anyway. Save yourself the hassle of having to restart your hearing aids a second time do use JabraEnhancePro and just use Apple settings.

I purchased a new Apple phone specifically to be able to use my Jabra hearing aids seamlessly. They worked well until the point to update came. Now they do not connect at all with the phone. I suspect this is a problem on Apple’s part, but maybe an update to your app would help. I have done troubleshooting both on my own and with Apple. Apple says it is not their fault. It is the fault of the hearing aids. since there are so many complaints on the Internet about failure to connect since the iOS update I do not think it is Jabra‘s fault.

Simultaneously with the iOS 15.4 update the Jabra Enhance Pro app spontaneously un-pairs the hearing aids from JabraEnhancePro . Each re-use requires deleting device and app and reinstalling to regain functionality. Apple claims it an app issue and Jabra appears oblivious to the problem with no communication about it or planned fix. Costco, which sold the hearing aid, has a bulletin identifying this problem. Jabra/Resound appears to be a very poor and unresponsive support organization selling medically necessary devices and related apps.

I’ve been very disappointed with the Jabra hearing aids and JabraEnhancePro. Have had several problems with my hearing aids going out and being replaced or reprogrammed multiple times. When I try to use the Assistant option, it never has worked. the only thing JabraEnhancePro is good for are the programs they preset and you can adjust some level of volume and control there. As far as the main Support it shows it has with the assistant option it’s nonexistent.

This Apple Watch app only works on the watch when the companion iPhone app is active (up on the screen). If I switch to view another app on the iPhone, the Jabra Enhance Pro watch app instantly gives an error message that says, “There is a problem with the connection.” This fully negates the value of the watch app.

When JabraEnhancePro is onscreen and active on both the iPhone and the Apple Watch, JabraEnhancePro works fine on the watch.

My wife and I tried several times to get her aids to connect with app, and every time we're told hearing aids could not be found! They paired with iPhone no problem, but app is worthless if it doesn't connect with hearing aids!

When I have my hearing aids with me the iPhone and iwatch batteries drain in half their normal time. I wear my watch to bed for the iwatch heart monitor. If the hearing aids are anywhere near me the watch dies in 3-4 hours. Had to put Jabra’s on the other side house to avoid the problem. Also the iPhone app keeps trying to adjust the bass and treble on the aids. I may take them back. Unfortunately they are great hearing aids.

JabraEnhancePro is ok. It’s the implementation that’s horrible. Contrary to the documentation, the EQ changes are almost useless. The highs are overwhelming, and the adjustments are nowhere near granular enough to be useful. The highs are on or off. Extremely poor implementation. It would be nice to know exactly what frequencies the EQ is supposed to be controlling.

The streaming feature is a joke, and has the fidelity of a tin can attached to a string.

As a musician, I need to hear what is REAL, not someones idea of what things should sound like. I have literally spent hours trying to adjust these so I can do studio work. It has been an extremely frustrating process, with no end in sight.

App worked fine for 2 months but since upgrading to iOS 15.4, JabraEnhancePro forgets the hearing aids whenever they are plugged into the charger. To repair them, you need to have the phone forget them, then go through the whole setup process again.

Makes having JabraEnhancePro pointless.

My wife and I both bought the jabra hearing aids from Costco about 4 months ago. Both of our devices constant lose connectivity with JabraEnhancePro . Generally the only way to reconnect is to go to IPhone settings and forget the devices and repair them in settings and JabraEnhancePro . My wife has given up on JabraEnhancePro . I’m returning my hearing aids for another oem.

Come on Resound/Jabra read your reviews and fix your hearing aids. I purchased these as I was told they were the most tech savvy that Costco sells. Having one hearing aid constantly disconnecting makes that advantage worthless. I have a feeling this will require a firmware update as both IOS and the Jabra app get disconnected.

JabraEnhancePro fails to connect repeatedly every single day. Once FINALLY seeing the hearing aids it loses connection several times a day. I’ve had to go back where I purchased the devices and they see exactly what I’m seeing and have no explanation.

Calling support is useless, you’re on hold until you’re gray. I’ve never been able to speak to a human no matter how often I’ve called.

I am forced to carry the battery case everywhere so I have at least some chance of getting JabraEnhancePro to connect.

Literally the worst excuse for an app that’s associated with much needed device.

This developer should be terminated and if the company truly cares for its hearing aid customers they’d be doing something about this

The jabra hearing aids are decent but JabraEnhancePro needs work. My hearing aids often just drop the setting that I had them on so I have to open JabraEnhancePro and click on the preferred setting again. The other day I went to put my hearing aids in and I opened JabraEnhancePro only to find that all of my saved setting have completely disappeared so now I have to figure them out again which is annoying and takes more time than it should (because you have to constantly adjust to get it back to the setting that sounds right.)
It’s pretty. Much impossible to get I. Touch with a person from customer support - you just get stuck in an endless loop of FAQ’s. Very frustrating. I do not recommend JabraEnhancePro but unfortunately you have to use it to use the hearing aids.

I have been using Jabra hearing aids for several years and I have had continuous problems keeping my hearing aids connected to my iPhone and problems switching between apple devices. The problem got worse when I upgraded my iPhone to a 14. I thought maybe since my hearing aids had reached the end of the warranty period that I should upgrade my hearing aids as well. I got my new Jabra hearing aids about 2 weeks ago and the connectivity problem is even worse. Since I use this phone for business and I am constantly mobile driving in a vehicle or working in the field not being able to use the iPhone through my hearing aids deems this aspect of the hearing aids less than a one star. I truly wish I hadn’t spent the money purchasing a new pair of hearing aids through Jabra and I had found a different brand that works better. I do not recommend..

JabraEnhancePro continually loses sync with hearing aids. One time it will be the left ear next time the right ear. Another time it will go Demo mode requiring a complete reinstall. My iPhone has never lost sync. When app works it works great. My hearing are Jabra EnhancePro.

But it rarely works. If it connects at all, it is slow. Will not allow iWatch to function if app is in the background. In the background on the iPhone, all connections are lost. A love-hate relationship. Love the hearing aids. Hate the disappointing app. JabraEnhancePro designers are failing a potentially good product and mis-representing the functionality. Please work on it!

I have it installed on my 3 pro and while I can change to the various programs, attempting to regulate the volume through JabraEnhancePro has no noticeable impact.

The interface for noise filtering is confusing. It’s not the least intuitive, eg if I raise the bass, does that meanI am filtering out more bass or raising the intensity of the bass???

About once a week JabraEnhancePro loses pairing with the hearing aid. Then need to go through about a 5 minute process to reconnect.

Also will not default to my "favorite" setting each morning when the hearing aids come out of the charger.

Otherwise JabraEnhancePro is fine.

I recently got the Jabra Pro 10 hearing aids from Costco. The quality of the hearing aid is good. JabraEnhancePro however leaves you wondering at times. You are supposed to be able to switch between say an iPhone and an iPad without turning off the Bluetooth on one to go to the other. This is bogus. I have new iOS devices.

Every once in a while JabraEnhancePro will also just drop the connection from one of the hearing aids. Especially while steaming. This is frustrating if you’ve used Jabra Bluetooth headsets at work for years that seamlessly connect with no problems whatsoever.
I chose the Jabra hearing aid in part because of my positive experience with their earbuds and phone sets. The quality of the hearing aid integration with JabraEnhancePro is not as refined.

Does help hearing but app a bit difficult to navigate and no real instructions. Helps increase sound but different settings not work as well. Dangerous part is the plastic loop in ear - both fell off- never given knowledge this could happen.
Costco - where I got has been very helpful but not sure how well I like them.

Using JabraEnhancePro with my iPhone is great, only issue is when I leave my phone inside and go outside and return back inside, Bluetooth has disconnected from my hearing aids and the only way to reconnect is take them off, put them in the charger and put them back on. If I lose connection when I’m out without access to my charger how do I reconnect them? Tried turning off Bluetooth and back on doesn’t work, I don’t see a reconnect option in JabraEnhancePro.

The hearing aids are good, except when you are listening to music are someone talking on radio, the signal drops from one ear to the other. Only when you drop your cell phone down around your waist, usually when walking. I took them to Costco they replaced something but it didn’t help.

The sound quality of these hearing aids is not good. I can only wear them in specific situation. Being in a large group, listening to the television as well as other situations, I am better off taking them out. They were the best on the one on one conversation. I do not find adjusting that background to be very helpful. But they are better than nothing and this is what I tell people when they ask me

It’s great to finally hear! However, JabraEnhancePro is not the best. It will turn all the way down randomly and on it’s own. I regularly have to open JabraEnhancePro to turn the volume up. I just got a new phone and updated app. The problem has happened on both. Does this happen to others? Did I get a bad set of hearing aids?

It’s great to be able to make changes via the phone or watch.

Wish I could change the bass etc on the watch but. Alas. I’ll deal.

A huge bummer is the last app update erased all custom settings I had saved AND the one the hearing aid center had installed. Ugh. I’ve got to now make an appointment to get it put back on. I’m thankful my center doesn’t charge me. But others might not be so lucky.

I love JabraEnhancePro. Before I got these I had to use speakerphone when talking on my cell phone. Everybody could hear my conversation quite clearly including my spouse. With JabraEnhancePro I can hear clearly and nobody else has the other person talking all they hear is what I’m saying. If I want to let the other person in on the conversation I can turn it off as well. This is a wonderful app and I recommend it to all Hearing Aid uses.

I like my hearing aids but there are two things I would like the manufacturer to add to them in the future as follows:

1- water resistance.
2- when you listen to music and the volume is turned up and the are set in surround or front settings, the hearing aids bust your ears. So they require an auto safety recognizing system to protect the hearing sudden high sound.

I’ve had the option of comparing my Jabra Selects to ReSound, both GN products, and while Jabra works they are not nearly as good as ReSound. My Jabra has a feed back issue when I sit in a chair with a soft headrest or when I put my hood up. The sound isn’t as clear but they are $4000 cheaper/pair so I feel the value is good. I am happy with my Jabra at this price point. JabraEnhancePro could allow a bit more customization, otherwise it is good.

I rarely open JabraEnhancePro because it doesn’t seem to help much to diagnose if there is a problem. I mostly just use it to connect to my iPhone. That is great, but full Bluetooth connectivity across brands would be ideal.

This hearing aid is more powerful and clearer than the last one I wore. The nighttime charging is easy in the little charger box provided, and batteries last a full 12 hours or more. I would like to be able to adjust speech clarity in different settings, such as outdoors, restaurants, and movies and TV.

I’m still getting used to hearing aids. These seem to be working great for me. My biggest problem is the right hearing aid disconnects much more often from my phone then the left and doesn’t reconnect unless I restart the right one. App works great otherwise.

Jabra is a great hearing aide and the service is excellent. Also, while different, meeting with staff or the audiologist by phone and zoom saves over half the price of in person purchasing. I highly recommend these folks!

I have severe hearing loss. The Enhanced Pro enables me to control my hearing aids via my cell phone. I use it to control the normal settings as well as restaurant settings and watching television. Now I hear my favorite shows audio directly through my hearing aids.

I tried the expensive aids twice !
Jabra aids are superior regarding quality and ease of use for 1/5th the rice. It's especially convenient to have the ability of making adjustments without making appointments and traveling to an office.
The phone/video consultations were easy and very helpful!
I'm grateful that this OTC choice of hearing aid is available to everyone...no RX needed. The hearing test is done online and Jabra follows up on it by phone very quickly!

Very satisfied with the product is the second pair of hearing aids that I’ve owned. They were less than half of the price of the first set of hearing aids, and the first set of hearing aids had no kind of adjustments or as far as quality and noise, reduction, and things like that, I would highly recommend them.

I recommend these hearing aids very much. I have severe hearing loss on my left ear but my right ear is almost normal. These hearing aids allow me to function in many situations where I would normally have difficulty. They’re very comfortable and almost invisible. The connectivity to my phone device works very well and there is an EQ available to adjust the sound quality.
There are well worth the money.

These are great hearing aids! JabraEnhancePro with my phone is wonderful. I can adjust the volume and a wide variety of environments. Huge improvement in my quality of life!
The payment plan made a huge difference in my ability to purchase. The interaction with the Doctor has been great. I receive supplies whenever I request them.
I have recommended to several friends that were apprehensive about hearing aids.

Finally I love my hearing aids. Found a technician that understands settings on these high tech aids. Can now use them and enjoying them. I have severe hearing loss and it is hard for the techs to make them work for me. The regular computer suggested settings do not work at all. Have to think totally outside of the box to set them.

Much easier to fine tune; more intuitive; would like to see some way to make more able to manipulate putting in place, something to make easier to grip when holding. I have some feeling loss in my hand. Hard to keep from slipping between fingers.

Nothing would cause me to use anything else. Great job!

These hearing devices are very user friendly, the audiologists are very patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful, I’m glad I purchased these devices, rather than the more expensive ones that are produced by the same manufacturer.

It’s so rare that I get a connection that I rarely even try anymore. I upgraded my phone and watch explicitly to be able to control my hearing aids. I regularly get a “There is a problem with the connection” message. This makes JabraEnhancePro functionally useless.

Pairing the new hearing aids was easy. JabraEnhancePro is easy and allows me to adjust the hearing aids quickly. It provides the ability to set favorite settings for various environments and automatically adjusts when needed for that situation.

While I love my hearing aids, I got the Lively version, 3 years ago, since it converted to JABRA I have been unable update as it is not recognized. I’ll continue to use what I have as long as I can as they have been wonderful for my life.
