TheDBMethod… where to start.
It doesn’t link to your watch, or play on anything but your phone screen. Be prepared to enjoy finagling a way to watch your phone screen while trying to do the workouts they have listed if you’re doing anything other than the basic squats.
It doesn’t link to Apple Health, so there’s no way (other than to open your db app) to keep track of the workouts, which is insanely inconvenient, especially for those trying to streamline their workout journey and see ALL their progress - not just the progress that plays nice with Apple Health.
It ALSO doesn’t link to your activity tracking, so you can basically go f yourself if you’re trying to use this to close those rings and share your pre-wedding workout stats with the other people in your wedding party like every other workout app on the Apple platform does.
The subscription cost is laughable for the minimal amount of programs they have. Let’s be honest, there is only so much you can do with this machine and it’s accessories, and you can buy workout set posters, resistance loops, resistance bands, and weighted belts/bracelets/anklets from other retailers for less than the cost of 6 months of this subscription. You’d also have a lot more options for your workouts going that route.
TheDBMethod is genuinely disappointing, but at least their machine lives up to the hype.
Do better db.
