App freezes and crashes when I try to add a date or add a new task

It works on the desktop, but every time I use the app on IOS on both my iPad and iPhone, I can add the task but not the date. I click to add the date and it freezes and I need to close and restart the app. Still can’t add date, so I then need to go to my desktop to do so. Very frustrating.
