I decided to try this app when it was promoted by an influencer. It looked interesting. In reality, it’s very annoying. The dancing baby on the loading screen shows up what feels like every other click. I can’t even check off the milestones down the list without the dancing baby loading screen showing up between each one. Eventually, it just got stuck on the dancing baby screen. The graphics are nice, but in my opinion there are better, more user-friendly apps out there.

As someone who has worked with young children for most of my life/career, this seems like a very vague assessment. Toddlers have emotions, which ARE normal and this assessment doesn’t take that into consideration. If you are selecting “not at all” for certain questions regarding behavior then I would be more concerned than if you selected “sometimes.” No reaction, is more concerning than an appropriate reaction based on age, emotion, situation. I also understand this is a starting point for parents to get their questions and concerns flagged to address with their pediatrician, so I do see value there. I am hopeful this app reaches those parents that are less knowledgeable on child development. I can tell this app is being promoted by paid influencers on social media who are not qualified to promote this. I am not impressed so far, but I am willing to give it more time and hopefully you will revise some of these issues.

This is a beautifully designed app, and I find it very useful to track milestones for my young children. I’ve replaced the traditional baby book with this app. It helps me to take the worry out of if my children are learning and growing on schedule. If something is identified on this app that seems off in my child’s development, I’d feel comfortable taking my concerns to my pediatrician and discussing further. It’s a great way to identify potential issues. I also have found all the articles and activities on the app very valuable. This is a great tool for parents.
