illumiHome randomly stopped working, insisting my lights weren’t connected. I’ve tried re-adding them,restarting Bluetooth, unplugging and replugging the lights, deleting then redowloading illumiHome , etc and nothing worked. I can use the remote but the remote doesn’t give you as many color options and I can’t create the color combos and transitions that I could with illumiHome . Massively disappointing and regretting my purchase.

i never write reviews, but the lights are perfect, but i can NOT connect my music with illumiHome . illumiHome is amazing by all means, but the music is throwing me off. the main reason i got these lights IS because you can sync your music to it. i did all the necessary steps but it doesn’t work, it only shows 3 random songs that aren’t even mine. it says “various artists”, and the song. please fix this asap.

When i first bought the led lights and installed illumiHome , everything was working fine. I could change the brightness, change colors like a gradient, and even have the lights flash as if it was a thunderstorm. I don’t know if it was the new update or what, but illumiHome just stopped working. It can’t find the led light bluetooth anymore, even though i have it turned on. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it still can’t find it. Please fix your app! I have a cloud ceiling so i can’t just take off the lights, and the only reason i bought these lights is because of the “thunderstorm” feature. Very disappointed.

illumiHome is terrible! When I first got my light set up the red light didn’t work. When the update came out for illumiHome , it’s fix that issue. Now, the latest issue is that I cannot connect to my lights at all and when I connect, the lights connect to my roommates lights! And, the colors are all different! I have yellow and green colors displaying when all I want is yellow. I have purple and red displaying when I just want red. What the heck!

Set up the lights. They worked with the remote. But, I want to be able to have control them from the phone. illumiHome detected four devices. The first time I tried, none of them would connect to illumiHome . Nothing in the manual indicated what the device name should be and they were all cryptic.

Deleted illumiHome , tried again and I was able to connect to the lights and control them from illumiHome . A little while later, I tried controlling the lights from illumiHome . But, it wouldn’t connect again.

So, something needs to be fixed.

The lights work great! You get a lot of value for your money.

illumiHome has serious coding issues causing use of all of your phone’s memory, which will cause other apps to stop - music will stop playing, web pages will unload, etc to free memory for illumiHome, which will then crash. Very frustrating.

I really enjoy my lights and the amount of color scheme options I have to choose from , i just have a problem with mine randomly turning on when my tv is off and my app is not being used . Not sure if it has to do with the lights or tv but it’s woken me up every time . Other than that , I’m happy i got them

If you want to just be able to grab your phone and turn the lights on.. this isn’t it. illumiHome works fine if your lights are already on and u just need to change brightness or color or whatever but don’t expect this to be the best thing.

Ok, so I do like illumiHome it’s really cool and adds new features to the lights that the remote does not have BUT one day I was trying to contact them mind you I have had these lights for about a week or two and it would not work now there is a new update that I just uploaded and I am going to see if that helps other wise it’s a great app👍🤯

I have had these lights for about a month now, and have used illumiHome to turn them on and adjust them every day. It worked fine for the first 3 weeks, but this past week illumiHome has refused to connect to my lights meaning I am unable to access them through my phone.

I have had these lights for 2 months and they have worked well for me until now. After the most recent update the red color in illumiHome makes it pink and a bunch of the other colors are messed up in the color tone. I just wish there was a way to revert to before this update because I use red the most and it’s messed up.

I love how illumiHome has different brightness features as well as better control over the lights. I do wish that the lights would better sync with the music feature. I would also like to see movement feature added

I really like the LED lights. They’re great quality when it comes to lighting, and the colors are definite true if that makes any sense. For example, I know with my friend’s LED lights her yellow was definitely not yellow. I really find illumiHome super convenient, and I like how you can also name all of your lights to organize them all. However, the only thing I don’t like is when you click on your LED light to change the color, it automatically goes to white. I typically use mine before I go to bed or during the night, so I usually have them on blue, red, or purple. Personally, I do not like how it automatically goes to white. It hurts my eyes a lot. But other than that, I can’t really complain :)

illumiHome worked fine until a few days ago where it won’t allow me to Bluetooth to any led lights now so I’m stuck using the controller (To fix just unplug and replug the Led lights from the wall and the Bluetooth connection will come back)

illumiHome works fine for me except for the scheduling part. I want the lights to come on and turn off at the same time every day but they turn on earlier and earlier every day and then turn off too early. I can’t seem to get it right. I wish you could just say turn on at this time and off at this other time but when it’s try this is what happens

I really enjoy having the lights and illumiHome would connect to them but now they won’t so I deleted illumiHome . I can’t reinstall it because I need my dad to do it. But when I would turn the Bluetooth off and on I USED to work but now it doesn’t. Also my dad put them up and they were different colors. Turns out that it you just needed to connect the turn piece all the way to the lights. You need to press/ push kind of hard if you are having problems with that.

The lights are great and everything but the music and vocal mode. You should be able to use your own music like capturing phone audio for sync. Also with vocal mode we should be able to use our built in iPhone mics. Overall these lights are great but those are my two problems, I hope they get fixed because this is a very cool thing and you can get a lot farther with this. Overall I would definitely recommend these lights and to use illumiHome because it makes it easier.

** The latest update does not display red LEDs when I choose red on the color wheel, it looks pink. The color wheel was perfectly fine, please go back to that or fix it **

App is pretty basic, it’s an LED controller, there’s not a whole lot more to it. It does it’s job and it’s convenient, specially if you lose your controller. I only had one issue where I was having trouble syncing the lights to my phone but I just unplugged my lights from the power source and reconnected. App could use a little work, there’s a few glitches here and there, user interface can improve but over illumiHome does it’s job.

You haft to go to illumiHome go to vocal and turn on ur music and adjust the sensitivity of the mic on vocal to music sync the sensitivity level I use is 30% on lower bass on higher bass I use 20% great product love to see mor from this company and if u want to lure more visit the company insta I posted a video on there I’m wearing a lakers jersey dm me for more information again great product love to see more keep up the great work

Definitely read the instructions, especially if you’re trying to use the L shape connectors. The music thing that everyone says doesn’t work, does work. You have to go to vocal instead of music and really turn you’re music up. It looks really cool, so happy. Definitely recommend getting.

The diy doesn’t work and it includes apple music, which is a bummer.

App Needs Music Sync feature that includes Apple Music.

My daughter really wanted this specifically for the music sync feature. It does not work as advertised - if at all. We’ve been working with it for awhile and nothing...

I ordered three sets of LEDS. One set was the new model and the other two were older model. I have to use two different apps to control them.

illumiHome works fine, the developers just need to integrate Apple Music for the LEDs. I’m extremely disappointed I cannot sync my music like advertised

The lights work just fine tho I cannot sync to my own music as originally advertised, and that was the reason I bought it

Music mode doesn’t work like originally advertised. It’s the reason I bought the lights and hope there will be an update to fix that.
