Software breaks a $100 frame
My sister got a Polaroid Wi-Fi photo frame for her, my dad, and me for Christmas as we live in different states and thought it would be neat to share photos like this. Unfortunately, the Chinese software developer for the required Polaroid app spends most of his time sniffing monkey butts instead of programming, as it is impossible to upload photos from an iPhone to the frame. It just fails. And this product, the all, Polaroid, and Han Whatevernotsolo fail. Really disappointing. The Polaroid logo is supposed to be a symbol of quality (they even say this). What a lie!
I just purchased this as a gift for my Mother and I keep getting g failure to send error. Wifi is connected, there is no support for this.
Unable to send photos
Unable to send photos to frame once linked to app.
Cannot send photos anymore. NEED TO FIX!
Opened and set it up yesterday, but am now unable to send any photos. It will show it’s sent up to 99% then say it failed. I am a 20 year old who is pretty tech savvy and no trick has seemed to work. Seems like others had this issue as well, something you hope they’d fix by Christmas. This is going to be a present to my grandparents and my entire family should be able to send photos, but we are currently unable to add any more past the 20 I sent yesterday. This needed to be fixed a very long time ago. Disappointing.
APP needs updating
You would think Polaroid would have the best app for digital frames. When I try to add pictures through the app, one picture, if I’m lucky will show.
I ran into having an issue linking my PDFX frame to my iPhone smartphone. I reached out to the customer support email info at pabrands.com and they were able to walk me through getting linked up.
I am hoping that they are about to fix this app- once you download photos for the frame once, it only allows you to choose from those photos, instead of being able to add new photos. So, for all of you who bought the frame as a Christmas gift, choose lots of photos the first time you download, because that’s the only download you get (as of 12/13/2020). If they don’t fix this bug soon, I will have to return the frames I bought, and, at $130 each, it’s an expensive mistake. (And annoying, as I want to be done Christmas shopping!)
