First I want to say that the 5 star review is likely all done by employees who had to do it.

1. CentralMarket lacks support for Apple Pay. Hint : It’s an app running on a Apple device, why not at least support Apple Pay? It only supports manual entry of a CC. I just want to order something because I am sick with Covid, but now I have to look for my CC and squint my tearing eyes to enter 16 digits, expire date, what ever else.

2. You can’t filter on diabetic, gluten free, organic, etc. I have to search everything and read every label to filter it out one by one. That’s lame. Apps are for convenience. The only filter is on price. I don’t care if the strawberries I want buy have price ranges. All I want to know is if they’re organic.

The rest of CentralMarket is fine I guess. But not the delusional 5 star rating appropriate

Love CentralMarket , but the search capabilities have changed in the latest update which makes it hard to find what you are looking for. You have to click into the input box, type something in hope the drop down will have that option and then you need to select it. Tried looking for German beer or the actual name of the product and the search button is disabled despite showing it’s active. I have to type in beer, wait for it to run the query, select beer in the drop down and then search through all the hundreds of beer listed to find the one brand I know y’all carry instead of me just looking for it directly. I’m not sure why the functionality was striped away, but it’s adding more user tasks & stress than before. I hope this gets revisited soon.

Have used grocery pick up apps before and some of them wouldn’t let you pick up certain items like fruits…

Central Markets app on the other hand allowed me to order literally everything I always get at the store.

Great easy to use interface. However I wish you could drag down the product to get back to the previous page or be able to swipe right to get to the previous page. Clicking the X at the very top right corner to go back to the previous page is an inconvenient shopping experience but other than that it was a really smooth experience.

Would be nice to see everything that falls under a specific category when searching by keyword. Seems to fall short of suggestions. Better than Instacart because it doesn’t force promoted products, and also less expensive than Instacart. Love that I know that the shopper is familiar with the store products so I don’t have to worry about constant replacements or skipping over hard to find items.

I’m ordering Christmas dinner for the first time from Central Market. I’m so excited to see how dinner turns out. Ordering online takes a little getting used to because of the holiday meal and the pick up carts are separate. I also had a little trouble finding the search bar for final additions from check out.I’m not thrilled about the fees especially the pick up fee but it’s once a year AND I am not going to be slaving away in the kitchen while guests are in and out-really happy about that!!

I use the curbside twice a week. Mostly everything is prefect but the seafood department too often makes mistakes. I ordered a one pound whole flounder and received a 1/4 pound flounder, not easy to feed two people. Recently I ordered a walleye filet when I got home I found out the scales had not been removed. I had such a difficult time trying to remove the scales I ended up trashing it. When I talked to someone in the seafood department the person told me that some people liked to leave the scales on especially redfish, which I understand. I told him that was interesting because when I tried to get redfish with the scales on I had been told they couldn’t do it.
The most disappointing thing is their attitude, the instead of just apologizing they argue and I never get any follow up.

I’ve always loved HEB & Central Market, however only HEB’s offered curbside until just recently. The San Antonio Central Market now offers curbside, and it was terrific! All of my favorite items were available (like the CM Butter Tortillas) and when I got to the curbside lot, I was offered a complimentary sparkling water while I waited. Just when you think H‑E‑B/Central Market can’t get any better, it does! I’m going to definitely use CM curbside from now on.

Before Covid, I shopped at Central Market twice weekly, in person. So when we had lockdown, I used the pickup service. It’s so wonderful! The shoppers always make great choices...and if something doesn’t work, they give a credit or make a delivery to fix it. Now I’m so spoiled, I plan to continue the service indefinitely. H.E.B. lives up to their reputation and then exceeds it!

CentralMarket is easy. I love that my favorite recently purchased items are there for me to select without having to search. Next favorite thing is that the delivery times are always accurate. I get a notification if something is not available and I can accept or deny the substitution. Love central market!!

I tried to place an today to pick up an order for a chef prepared meal. I could not get logged in and needed to pick up curbside because I have my dog in the car. The customer service dept walked me through the entire process and I was able to place my order quickly and efficiently with CentralMarket . Thank you!

The Central Market online shopping experience is better than any other I’ve tried, and I’ve tried most of the other grocery online shopping sites. CentralMarket is so simple but elaborate and effective! I’m so glad I tried it. As an example, the selection of cheeses was so amazingly full of great selection. I am a total convert!

Good app, only use it to build shopping lists so I have no experience with curbside/delivery. Inventory updates in real time so CentralMarket is always accurate and the weekly savor sale items are conveniently advertised. Logical product categories/subcategories and good search functionality.

One request would be to incorporate the coupons received in weekly savor emails into codes available in CentralMarket .

Wow. Fantastic job on launching a great app! I’ve used curbside a ton in the last year, due to the pandemic. Now you’ve upped your game! I was able to pull my previous order, add them to my cart, then add my previously purchased items. My favorite hack is to do this when I’m in the airport, land in Houston, and drive straight to curbside. Voila! Instant groceries. Thank you for being an awesome store, with terrific employees, and now an app!

HEB Central Market is my favorite grocery store. The selection of fresh produce, cuts of meat, fresh seafood, fresh baked breads, wines, and cheeses are the very best in the DFW area. Alas, as I live in Arlington, and my nearest HEB Central Market is in Fort Worth, I did not frequent my favorite grocer as often as I, and they, might like. Now that I’ve learned of the HEB Central Market App and Home Delivery, I’m ordering my favorite seafood, produce, cuts of meat, breads, and cheeses more often. Central Market delivers to my doorstep. If only HEB Central Market would open up in Arlington. Still, with the HEB Central Market App and Home Delivery, I have convenient, easy access to my favorite grocery store.

Really appreciate your curbside services. They are very helpful for our family with small children and busy schedules! Your staff members are also very kind, and we appreciate them offering sparkling waters and other treats when they bring out our orders. The call center is also easy to use and if we ever have issues with our orders they are dealt with promptly which is very reassuring. Many thanks to your staff!!

Great coverage of the many myriad products inside. Especially helpful during holiday seasons when crowds hinder really thorough searching through the temporary displays put up throughout the store. I was surprised to find items I love to use but just never saw them available because I wasn’t looking in the right spot. Other than that, CentralMarket lets me order for delivery or pickup, or just build a shopping list in my cart that I can use myself in the store. Rarely lagging or slow. A wonderful app. God bless HEB!

I treasure an excellent and varied cup of freshly ground coffee in the morning. I prefer single origin beans due to the variation in taste profiles I get with the different locales, bean varieties, local growers and finishing processes used in each region. Variety is the spice of life.
I just bought four different single orgin coffee but I had to thin them from an initial list of eight single origins. Central Market is the only source I have found in DFW with that wide a range of fresh single origin coffees both bean and ground. I know it’s tough but coffee lovers just have to do it. 🍮☕️😎😍

We have been exclusively ordering Central Market groceries for pick up through the website. It worked pretty well. And it certainly has improved over the last year in it’s efficiency and clarity. However the new app is fantastic! All of my previous orders are there, it’s easy to add notes for the shopper, and check out is a breeze. Thank you Central Market!
I only wish I was able to leave a tip for the shopper. I give a tip to the loader but I always wonder who actually did the shopping. It would also be nice to have loyal shopper points or rewards.

Always fresh, always exciting, always getting list in the labyrinth of culinary delights. They have all the stuff the other stores don’t carry plus the stuff they DO carry, so it’s a one stop food shopping sanctuary! Everything from escargot to prime bison steaks, they seem to have it all! The staff is friendly, professional and the hey know where everything is and can answer question within reason that might pop- up; quite unlike the home improvement warehouses we’ve been relegated to these past several years. Oh dear, I forgot the mushrooms 🍄‍🟫

I love CentralMarket and usually don’t have problems. For some reason it keeps freezing after opening and I can’t move past the opening screen. Not sure if it was an update or what caused it, but please fix!
