This app is very bad. I can't get sound from my external speakers, and it appears to interfere with several of my apps. I don't understand any of the apps on my computer, but I have a Microsoft 365 family plan and this app has somehow interfered with the communication between three of my computers. I want it gone completely and I can't seem to do anything to get rid of it. I didn't order or request this app and I demand it be deleted ASAP. It seemed to appear right after Microsoft updates in my plan and I'm here at 1 am in the morning trying to work on some of my writings.

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Miracast app issues:

Force Stop the Miracast App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Miracast app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Miracast to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Miracast App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Miracast app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Miracast.

Fix Miracast unable to contact server/ Miracast internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Miracast » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Miracast » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Miracast on android.
