No need to be annoying

So disappointed in Fireside. I’m pretty tech savvy but can’t figure out how to use this. It’s very confusing and impossible to figure out how to do anything. There are no directions or help anywhere. Waste of money. I can’t even figure out how to join a chat. I had to delete Fireside because it sends hundreds of notifications and you can’t turn it off. It drives me crazy.

I signed up for Tyler probably almost a year ago and paid over $100 and I’ve never been able to login… Not once… Not on a computer, not on an iPhone, not on a droid, not on a PC, Nada!
I know there’s a live reading tonight, so once again, I just tried to login but as per usual, got nowhere.
Really what I’d like is my money back – a full refund considering I paid for a product I never received.

I originally got Fireside to be able to see videos from Tyler. Months passed and haven’t used Fireside . Almost every other week I’ve been trying to delete my profile and can’t. It says that the support team will get back to me and haven’t received an email. I don’t use Fireside and just need to remove my profile.

I have been trying to re subscribe and have been having issues getting it to work. I’ve emailed back and forth with customer service, sent screen shots, tried everything they suggested. Their response was - well it works on our end. Very disappointing.

I tried and tried to get Fireside to function, alas, it would not. Even after reinstalling and trying all the usual fixes, Fireside had connectivity issues, gave me error messages and was overall not user friendly in the slightest.

Each time there is an event I wish to join, even when the host send reminder links before the show starts, I can pretty much count on the link not working and Fireside not opening. The concept was great, would be great if Fireside actually performs as advertised 😒

Wow! Steal my money by duping me into purchasing an annual subscription rather than one month, then the platform is so bad that I couldn’t view the ONE event for which I purchased the subscription! Customer service is nonexistent. Beware! $139 for absolutely nothing! I even disputed the charge with my CC company, but this app’s fine print is iron clad in THEIR favor! (This is my second time reporting this. My original review disappeared!)

I joined for Tyler Henry but could only afford 1 month. Then because of my health I missed his live reading. Since I have been trying to cancel so I don’t get charged for any more and there is No Where to cancel. I have written 3 emails asking for help to tell me how to cancel and No response. They sure make it easy for you to join but not to get out of it.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Why is the new update only available for phone and iPad? Watching a two-hour show on a phone screen isn’t exactly enjoyable.

I wrote a review specifically outlining the previously accessible program that allowed many creators access to this platform and the impact of their changes this year. These “new” changes have removed creators, replacing us with a “gatekeeper” process for selective creators. Although their site allows people to apply for access, I personally have not received any responses to applications or messages sent to their support services. Not only are they not providing representation for underserved communities but they have made access significantly limited by having individual subscription based access for each creator.

Could be good, but it’s just not. Frustrating.

Confusing to use with frequent crashes.

I been waiting to hear back from support for over 3 months now and I tried to contact anyone at this app, unfortunately none of my messages were replied and their support isn’t helpful. Fireside is being over run by cyber bullies and people that are committing harassment and even threatening my
Loved ones. I would strongly suggest no one use Fireside to preserve your peace of mind and privacy concerns.

There is no help on Fireside. My email address's say they are already in use because no one on the admin side will erase them so that I can try to sign up again . Had to withdraw my initial membership because I was never able to log in. Tyler Henry Collective is so much more than Fireside with no one with any sense of urgency or motivation is attending to. Have asked numerous times for someone to clear my emails , no one running this thing cares.

As a platform for casting, sure, it does what it does, and it's got some limits that are meh.... But overall, it's fine for what it is.

My problem is it's lack of inclusion. I can't have a guest unless they have an iPhone or ipad. Not having a desktop version means you can't use other hardware, like a better mic or camera setup even if you wanted to. That's a bit short sighted. And it means that, while I'll join calls and casts with my iOS device... I will not use it to broadcast, as I'm cutting my audience and guest potential in half by default.

If ever you decide you don’t want to continue with your this app subscription, good luck. Not only is it unbelievably hard to find out where and how to do so, but once you submit a request, you aren’t contacted by the support team as promised. Your subscription actually isn’t cancelled and you will be charged the subscription account over and over! Simply put, I should be able to cancel and stop payment on a subscription if I choose for an app that claims you don’t have to sign up for a certain amount of time. I have made at least 3 attempts to cancel my this app subscription to Tyler Henry and have not been granted cancellation. In fact, the continued attempts to charge my account have resulted in bank fees to me. Beware of these practices.

Constant notifications for things I would never want to see or hear and no way to turn those off without turning the ones that I want off. Not good.

I was excited to hear this was founded by Mark Cuban but that might not be enough. Fireside is aesthetically pleasing but not very user friendly and hard to navigate. I'm fairly tech savvy and it took way too long to figure out what is what.

I would rather it have less features and it be easier to understand otherwise a quantum mass of users isnt going to stick around on something that's not easy to use.

Took me forever to even figure out how to change my bio. Still can't figure out how to change my name (accidently put my company name where my name should go).

Hard to tell if a show is live or not. There's an interface that's scrolling thru random shows and switching without asking you.

Interface is making suggestions on what I like even though it has no idea what I like?

Multiple categories of content that are unclear and not enough categories divided by actual specific interests.

If you have to train me on how to consume content on your app, it's too complicated.

I don’t want 22 + invites or alerts a day for this app chats I have zero interest in. I just want what I signed up for to participate and listen to. Why can’t I block all these others I don’t want? If I had not already paid for the collective I would have deleted Fireside by now. It’s making me crazy.

I paid $150 to be part of one channel, but when I get notifications it’s for stuff for which I’m TOTALLY uninterested. (Perhaps it is still in infancy which is just annoying to roll out until ready.) Also, when I open this app I see everything BUT my channel. Since there are no options to weed out and focus on what I want, it feels spam-y. At $150/year I shouldn’t see anything other than what I bought/request, so for user enjoyment I give this a one star and for concept three stars.

I’ve tried using this on both an iPad and iPhone, and the video in particular often doesn’t work, and there doesn’t appear to be much in the way of support that I’ve been able to find. As someone who has subscribed it’s super disappointing.

Good start….

For the participant, the this app feels like an app rushed to market, not yet a good business tool. App gets unloaded by IOS when it’s in background and resets itself. No easy way to backup 15 seconds. Using finger on slider is so inaccurate and it always wants to jump forward. Finding your lace in a recording is terrible. Worst of all, there is no way to find what you have listened to before - only can see what you participated in live. It would be basic table stakes to have it remember what you are listening to and where you were - all podcast and players do this basic function. It’s so clunky. The laugh tracks and applause is tough to stomach, but I get that and why it’s needed - better than nothing and helpful for a speaker to get some read of the room. Please this app, give the listener of recordings some basic tools, history, and functions so it’s tolerable. Do appreciate the Bluetooth compatibility.

In order to cancel. They send you an email receipt find it. At the bottom of the email you’ll see manage subscriptions. Click that. It will make you log in and it will send you another link to your email. Go to your email and click newly sent link. This is where you cancel your subscription.

I signed up for Tyler Henry channel. Love his visions and readings. But I have only been able to see 1 segment. Im feeling that I’m paying for too many channels that don’t interest me. Now I’m having troubles canceling this subscription. I will continue to try and purchase tickets to see Tyler. But this Subscription is not for me.

The interface for Fireside has buttons that are unlabeled and it’s not always clear what they do by topping them. In some cases, especially during the live session, a screen reader user won’t want to mess around with experimenting with buttons that aren’t labeled. So it’s really important to get those buttons labeled not just for the live and replay interfaces, but for Fireside interface generally. A lot of times, I hear an indicator that lets me know there is a button or something to tap on, but I don’t hear what it is and voiceover doesn’t seem able to entirely guess what it is. so, in essence, please label your buttons.

Only works on iPhones not android at all and even on my iPhone it crashes and won’t open. The browser doesn’t work either !

Great app and great conversations

This is an awesome app. I love the fact that the content is thoughtful and interesting. Well thought through design. So far I like it a lot.

This is such a creative idea for an app and I love idea that you can watch your favorite influencers or celebrities go live and also interact with them! Although I can still see some minor issues that can be fixed, I appreciate and love Fireside!

Latest version of this app is looking sharp! I hopped in a show the other day and was greeted by the show host (not the first time), love the interactivity!

this app Chat is so much fun and has a bunch of interesting shows. It is super eaasy to use and is a great platform for finding new and cutting edge shows that don't get lost in the shuffle.

There is nothing like this app Chat-anywhere! Beautiful UI/UX, incredible sound and functionality. Ability to customize the art unique to each creator-they’re building a first class jet plane to Creator success!

I really enjoy the variety of live shows and creators on the platform as well as their library of shows that I can go back to watch.

Amazing to see a platform truly created for podcasters. Podcasting hasn’t changed much in years and this platform is leading in some of the changes needed and is focused on doing that for the podcast community.

I love doing my live segments from this app for so many reasons. Not only can I stream to a number of different platforms but I also can have audience interaction during my live shows. There’s truly nothing else out there like it and it has helped grow my Contant tremendously.

I tell everyone who will listen to me how great Fireside is! The live sessions with Tyler Henry are quite intimate and truly engaging. The opportunity for anyone to join in, turn on their camera, and participate directly with Tyler transforms the typical viewing session into an interactive and dynamic experience. I am genuinely excited to see what this app has planned next!
