- Cost of the device.
- Sensor was constantly off and no way to recalibrate it.
I put one on yesterday and it failed by the end of the day and said to replace it. I put the second one on this morning and this afternoon it showed my numbers dropping into the red and as low as 53. I ate a candy , not part of my diet, to raise my numbers. Since then it is up and down not staying consistent. I finger tested and got 154 when the app and freestyle said I was at 80. After eating my diner a finger stick says 193, the app says 134. What can I do to correct this so I know where I am at. Eating a meal and a candy has me higher than what I would normally be. I was on the road and not able to finger stick earlier so I was using this device as a guide to track my numbers. The alarm went off and said I was crashing. How do I make sure it's a true reading.
This is the second one in a row that I had 'lost signal'. I have tried all the suggestions from the manual and help advice. Nothing is working. The first two I had no problems with. The 3rd and 4th lost signal after 5 days. I reported the first one and they replaced it. Then the second one happened yesterday. The same time the replacement arrived. If this is an ongoing problem, which it seems to be from what I read, I would rather go back to finger stick. Less stressful and messing around with the sensor trying to get it to work.
I have the Freestyle libre 3 and app on my phone. It seems to receive the readings from bluetooth but will not manually scan with my phone. It doesn't vibrate or record it in the log. I have had 3 alarms for low sugar events but it is not registering in the app itself. I did use the freestyle libre (not the 2 or 3) and that worked fine. With this I can not report to my doctor the readings cause it is not showing the ones I try to do or the low sugar events.
Libre 3 Logbook is not recording my blood glucose results. Other than that, it working fine.
Tried switching from libre 2 to libre 3. Uninstalled libre 2 on phone shut phone down and restarted phone. Installed the libre 3 app and opened asked if notifications are allowed, set to allowed. Screen went blank and after 1-2 min came up with server not available. Checked phone for updates updated as needed. Repeated except this time uninstalled Libre 3 and powered off phone installed libre 3 app from play store and opened app same thing again " server not available". Did this 2 more time with same results. Using samsung galaxy S20 ultra 5g. I do not want to use the reader having a phone is tolerable but the reader is to much.
The sensors were great at first. But lately I having connectivity issues. I've had two sensors in a row that I have been unable to scan in.
The readings have been incorrect to say the least when checked with fingerstick lately. This has seem to coincide with the operating system upgrade for the app. It phases out often with no data available. Unsure if there is a connection. Plan to return back to the libre 2 with the reader. If you have no confidence in the device, what is the point in continuing to use it??
The text prediction feature is not working in the Libre 3 app. It doesn't appear to be the phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+) since it works in other apps and worked with the Freestyle Libre 14 day app. The phone is up to date with all available updates and text prediction is turned on. Is there something else I'm missing?
I purchased 2 sensors after having a free trial sensor for two weeks. The 1st purchased sensor, looked strange to me. I tried to place the cap back on the sensor to review the instructions. When I came back the needle was bent sideways!? So 1st sensor was ruined! I put the 2nd sensor to my other arm (pre-soak so it would be available when the trial one quit working). I had placed a covering over the sensor (to keep it in place as I had with the trial one). The trial sensor ended. I attempted to activate the new sensor. The scanner did not pick up the sensor. I removed the covering and the scanner still does not pick up the sensor. It has been some 19 hours since the sensor was installed. Please advise. I'd like to get credit for the 2 sensors which are not working.
have a samsung galaxy fold 4 with version 13 software and cant get libre 3 sensor to be scanned. scanning repeatedly over 2 days since replaced the prior sensor that was working fine ONCE we got it to be scanned. I have had 2 bad sensors that Abbott replaced after a lengthy phone call with tech services that did not scan. I had one sensor that scanned within 15 secs of placing the back of the phone over the sensor but usually it takes hours of trying to get the sensor to scan
I am constantly having issues activating a new sensor. I had 8 fail in a row. So then I thought it was my phone. I have the Samsung S22 Ultra. I got new batch from the pharmacy and the first one worked 2 weeks ago. I had to replace it tonight and it didn't work. First I got error codes 373, I. waited a while and tried again and it gives me a 57. you can't find the codes anywhere so you don't know what the problem is. Very frustrated. hat to have to go back the the Libre 2. Maybe I will see if my doctor will change to a different company.
When it works, it's fine, but I'm having issues with connecting to new sensors. I'm having issues connecting to new sensors. Happened several times. I often have to go 3 or 4 days with it not connecting. (if ever)
I have used Libre 3 for a couple months with no problem reading it with my Samsung S10+phone. After coming home from an overseas trip (where it continued to read fine) I attached a new disk and it will vibrate and make a type of sound (not the regular ding) and then not bring up the 60 min click, but instead a note says "Diabetes M NFC scan is disabled." I can not find a place to enable it. DO I research the app, the device, or the phone?
Libre 3 loses signal and says wait 10 minutes
Started Libre 3 today and it scanned ok to begin with but now it says my alarm is not available. What can I do? I have an Apple iPhone 13 Max Pro
My application froze. I tried restarting phone many times. It still wpyodnt work. Uninstaller and reinstall now all my stored data is gone ! Hep! I want my data back!!
Started using 11 days ago this morning my sensor would not connect to the app. Pulled that sensor and installed a new one and the app doesn't find the sensor and I don't see the sensor on my blue tooth list. Tried restarting my phone, turning off and back on Bluetooth and reinstalling the app. This is very disappointing.
Two things: I am considering not using the system at all because the "out of range" beeping in the middle of the night is disturbing the entire household. According to one blog site, you can correct this by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I did so and now the app won't work with the sensor. It says the sensor is already in use by another device. I have only one phone. No other device. These sensors are not covered by my insurance so I have to pay for them. Really, I'm ready to give up on this thing. I do not want it to override my "do not disturb" but there is no way to stop it and I don't care that the sensor was out of range. The libre 2 was much better. Who needs glucose readings every minute? I surely don't and I can't imagine any other diabetic does. Since these things cannot be opted out, I am probably going to just stop using this system.
Has happened more than once and Im about to go a different company , changed out sensor attempted to restart new sensor and nothing, new sensor doesnt start, happened with 2 sensors 2 weeks ago and happened with 2 sensors tonight, not reliable, tech support next to worthless
Twice i've had the same issue : I put on a new sensor, and everything starts just fine. I'm able to use the sensor normally for about 8 days, then the app just quit opening on the phone. The first occurrence, I tried to uninstall the app and reload it. Then I reinstalled the app and it would not connect with the sensor (understandable) I started a new sensor and it worked for 7 or 8 days then again the app quit working. When I try to open the app - it starts to open then a split second later it returns to the phones home screen.
I just replaced my sensor, the new sensor is working fine but I still get a replace sensor. Your sensor is not working alarm. It’s beeping and driving me crazy
Two issues: 1. Just changed out my sensor and after 1/2 hour there is no signal from the sensor; 2. I have to reset my phone (Samsung Galaxy A51 5G) at least every other day to be able to receive a signal from my sensor. There is a major problem with the Libre 3 communications system.
I added my wife on the Libre link up app. Now all my alarms sound on her phone, but not mine. I removed her from linkup app but, I still get no alarms on my phone. Tried closing and opening my app. Turning off alarms and back on again. No change after either one. Going to uninstall of the app and download fresh.

My iPhone will not read my sensor. I have tried several different sensors with no difference. I deleted and reinstalled the app and still get a sensor error message. Must be an issue with the app. Any thoughts?
My first Libre 3 worked fine with my Samsung s22. Then I installed my second sensor worked for 1 day then gave me connection error. Then said sensor bad install new one. At about $40 each after insurance. Not very efficient.
Attempting to activate new sensor, not going beyond scan. it has been at least 1 1/2 hrs since new application.
I applied a FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor, downloaded the app, but am unable to connect it to my Iphone. It is an Iphone 8SE and has IOS 16.2. How can I fix this?
My samsung galaxy s22+ just stopped reading my libre3 sensors! Says "signal loss" even after I updated and reapplied a new sensor. My sensors are expensive!! I can't throw them away because my brand new phone won't read them. Please help!
Went for lybre2 to the lybre3 like the small size but the app is useless. If I can’t keep a log of my numbers then why both having it. Who ever decided to change that feature from the 2 to the 3 obviously doesn’t deal with diabetes
