why can't i make a book from 2012-01-01 to Present. The app launches but then begins in 2016. There are photos I wish to include before 2016. I've tried using the Custom button, but get the same results.

How to fix PastBook app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the PastBook app on iPhone
Update PastBook app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall PastBook iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix PastBook on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve PastBook network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

PastBook Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix PastBook not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the PastBook App
1. On android, goto Settings » PastBook » click [Force Stop]

Update PastBook to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear PastBook App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » PastBook » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart PastBook.

Fix PastBook unable to contact server/ PastBook internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click PastBook » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto PastBook » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch PastBook
