In fairness, the issue of being locked in the airport and miss-rerouted for 90 - is 50 % the lack of coordination at the Airport in Aruba and 50% the clunky App. more on that in a minute...
But it was ok to good (3 stars) getting us out - with a strong assist from the VeriFLY App. The Aruba App ... Show more got us the Appointment, lower cost, and results fast - the clunky part is that you really can’t use that report to satisfy the requirements of boarding in VeriFLY - but must use the email that Aruba App sends as evidence of legal name, Dr’s name, time of test, type of test, and of course negative test result!
As for the confusion at the airport... they are way too quick to dismiss previous results (and don’t tell you what they were looking for- just go to that line) - which turns out to be a testing line. The moto in the Airport appears to be ‘if in doubt - check them out’ and not “one Happy Island”! Turns out what they wanted to see was either an interactive screen of the test results that contains all of the information above - or $$$ and a second test. Would love to see Aruba App replaced by VeriFLY - as a green check mark on your Aruba App means absolutely nothing in the Airport. Once you get through the Airport- your really vacation can begin- just don’t let the Airport take away your joy.... the island people more than makes up for everything the Airport experience would seek to ruin!
