Basically Non-Functional

FlyNet itself is difficult to log into. There are about five different means of logging in and most of them time I spent stuck on a loading screen that would take me back to square one.
I also spent 50 euro for two premium full flight internet access codes (25 euro for each code) and was not able to do more than send texts via Whatsapp (which I think is a free option anyway) and check email. No Youtube, no watching any kind of videos. There was either no Internet available or it was so slow it would never load.
Spotty performance

WiFi on the 747-8 seems slow and spotty and occasionally not operational at all. A bit $$$ for the performance…
