Hello! This product worked as advertised. I believe the part that confused people was that WowStuff uses green screen. Do you see that green part on your cloak? Yeah, that’s what makes you invisible, not the grey part. I got this as a Christmas present and I enjoy it!

On Christmas morning I was so exited when I got this present I was super exited but when we downloaded WowStuff and tried to login it was denied so it made me a little sad but when I came back to see that it started working I was so happy thanks for fixing the problem

This cloak and app and everything is awesome!! So much fun. It’s not insane perfect quality, (it will show a faint outline of a square but it’s so smart, not easily ruined and overall just really decent and so fun to play with!

WowStuff has apparently fixed the problem with the accounts.
The invisibility cloak only works when you have NOTHING in front of you. You have to enter the room with the invisibility cloak instead of leaving it there. Sometimes the invisibility cloak doesn’t work, but you can figure it out. I made some cool videos, but I expected more. The cloak freezes the image/thing in front of you in the video, and it makes it look not-so-invisible. Sometimes the green shows up, but it’s fine. If you have a dog, it’s gonna be hard to film. If it shows up while filming, it messes up the whole thing. Other than that, WowStuff is pretty good.

Pretty lame. You can’t move the camera at all. For some reason makes you have to register an account and type in some long registration number to use WowStuff .

How do you expect kids to use something that makes you jump through so many hoops to use?

I love using the invisibility cloak to send vids to my friends and scare them lol! 😂 it’s a really good app, and I would recommend it for any crazy potterhead like me 😆

WowStuff doesn’t work. Even if its properly hooked up to the tripod, it still says that it moved and stops recording. The effect of the green screen isn’t very good, and most of the time the video stops for the smallest of bumps. WowStuff does not work, so don’t waste your time.

WowStuff is awful. I put my phone in a tripod stand and it still kept saying the camera moved. So my daughter can’t even enjoy her invisibility cloak she got for Christmas because WowStuff doesn’t function properly. Highly disappointed and incredibly annoyed.

Why do we have to login! I mean it is just a invisibility cloak! What is so bad about that? I don’t understand why is just a awesome Harry Potter toy have to be so High security! I really hope they take off all of the login then I would give a 4 star.

WowStuff requires you to create an account to use it. WowStuff collects info and app usage. Thier privacy statement says this product Isn’t meant for kids and if they install and use WowStuff it’s not their fault they collect your kids information

This worked for me once and now when I try it the cloak stays green and if you move it drags everything down and stops like a photo. Such a shame. Don’t download it and I’ll be writing a review where I got it so others don’t even buy it.

When I first got WowStuff I was thinking that I would actually be invisible! But when I am invisible you can see some of the green screen. Pretty lame.

The effect isn’t very remarkable and saving to camera roll makes the audio wonky.

With a tri-pod provided and with securing the phone where it’s impossible to move, WowStuff says the camera moved and won’t initiate the mode.

So frustrating!!! A half an hour pressing the button to begin invisibility and we got one time where WowStuff didn’t think the camera moved.

This needs to be fixed. Green screens have been around for a long time...

I got a invisibility cloak for Christmas, so it helps me make videos with it

Don’t breathe near your device or it will tell you the camera moved and you have to start over.

Nothing is invisible and the wand doesn’t “write” with WowStuff either.

How do I even use this I got my wand to work but have no idea how to use the cloak in so cunfused someone please help meee

Ok, I know WowStuff was down on Christmas when everyone wanted to use their cloaks. They were unprepared and my son was disappointed. However, the owner of the company and his staff worked tirelessly to get WowStuff back running. They apologized on multiple social media fronts and personally reached out to people who were criticizing them. They accepted responsibility and showed how upset they were that they were a part of so many children being disappointed on Christmas. They worked with every person that reached out and got their app working again.

And WowStuff is great! We downloaded a random green screen app just to get ours working on Christmas Day and now that the actual Wow app is working, there is no equal. It works so well, and if the lighting is right, you can’t even see the seems on the videos you can create. I am personally proud to give WowStuff five stars not just because it works exceptionally well, but because the people that work on it have shown how much character they have in the face of much toxic criticism and adversity.

My complaint is the same as many, WowStuff does not work. You cannot login, if you are lucky enough to login-you can not register the product as per the instructions. If the company does not fix WowStuff , this item is a total waste of money.

Update: I emailed the company shortly after writing this review on Christmas Day and received a response back within minutes. They also addressed the issue on their website. Once the company realized the problem they took steps to handle the increase in demand on their servers and now WowStuff works great!! My son loves his Invisibility Cloak!!! He keeps saying over and over “this is so cool!!” I have to give props to Wow! Stuff for stepping up to address my concerns and the problem so promptly.

We, like many others, tried WowStuff yesterday and were met with the same frustrations as many others. We were able to make it using my iPhone for video and my MacBook with iMovie for editing. It just meant we had to shoot the same scene twice, the first with nothing but the background and the second with the same background but the time my son using the cape. It worked, and it was super cool. Not as easy as WowStuff worked but at least we were able to use it. Then, this morning, 12/26, tried again and it fired right up. WowStuff was much easier and it worked as expected! Not happy WowStuff crashed but happy to see they got it back up and running within a day.

App was up and running day after Christmas and it was pretty cool. It doesn’t work very well in low light and you have to make sure the phone is perfectly still but my daughter loved it and we got many giggles out of watching her head move across the screen while her body was invisible! All in all fun but maybe not worth $70. Kind of excessive especially since the cloak isn’t velvet or anything...just some light fleecy material.

Paid $70 for an invisibility cloak and can’t even register on WowStuff for my child to play with it. Like someone else said, not ready for prime time. All of us downloading and trying to use it must have crashed WowStuff . Hope they get it up and working or they’ll be disappointed when all of us return our $70 blankets.

Updating my review. We were eventually able to create an account on the third device we attempted. WowStuff is a lot of fun. Giving 4 stars because of the difficulty of setting up the account and not getting a response/help from customer service email.

I have searched and searched for a way to fix this issue. My password is at least 8 characters. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and we’ve even tried on other devices. We cannot get the account created. All it says is something went wrong. No customer service number in sight and can’t find the email address as the website tries to open outlook which I don’t have. Please help!

WowStuff is not working my kid has been waiting to play with her cloak all morning because WowStuff won’t register FIX THIS! Revision : WowStuff worked today looks like the ratings took a pretty bad hit due to the Christmas numbers WowStuff wasn’t ready for but now everything works as advertised so raised the rating from 1 to 4 stars

Edit 3: It'll be up in a couple hours today. I hope this is helpful, seeing as most of you don't look at the front page of their website.

I just downloaded WowStuff for my invisibility cloak, and even though all credentials are correctly imputed, it just says "Something went wrong. Try again." So I've been doing this for the past 10 minutes, and on my very first try I only got as far as the product number. I'm not too sure if it's broken or needs fixing, but I really want to use my cloak. I'll try again later, maybe in an hour or so.

Edit: Just looked at the website and the servers were down. Hope you fix it soon, guys.

Edit 2: Okay guys, this is ridiculous. The servers are still in the works of being fixed and it's been HOURS. You guys need to step up your game, and hurry up, or else my cloak is just a little green screen blanket, and I don't want that! So please hurry. And, once you get the servers up it'll just be bombarded with users, so honestly, just make it easy on the servers to process a bajillion people making accounts at a time.

Now that WowStuff finally works, it really is very cool. It was awful and frustrating over Christmas, but now that WowStuff is fixed, everything works as advertised and we have hysterical videos and pics with the invisibility cloak. If you follow the directions, it works awesome. The delayed start and duration timer are great features to help with the setup of a scene or video. The whole family is cracking up at the videos and pics. We are having a blast- kids and adults.

So on Christmas morning I was so excited to open and see what I got I opened one and got this me and my dad downloaded the new app and we tried so hard to create an account it never worked I cried for a little, but when my mom came in she told me not to cry she also told me that I can use the green screen in the back of the cloak for another editing app she told me to be creative I mean she told me that maybe it’s only because there is a lot of people that got this for Christmas there can also be a lot of Harry Potter fans and thought it was cool so I’m guessing its going out of balance LOTS OF HARRY POTTER FANS .V.S. WowStuff :/ so yeah you get the point...plus, at least you got more gifts to play with good luck.
