Was called at my business by their local rep, to talk about selling crystals on Palmstreet . The rep came to my store, was 30 minutes late, knows NOTHING about Palmstreet , how to configure it, how to configure sales tax reporting, nothing. We sell higher end showcase pieces and attempted lives on Palmstreet , which is all about plants and has no reference to crystals. The community are hobbyist sellers, and the buyers expect wholesale pricing, because the sellers buy things from China and don’t have reseller licenses, so if you’re a retailer, you’ll only sell $12-$15 items, if you’re selling wholesale, you’ll do great. The rep literally told me to sell items less than $20, and that was after she looked at our shop and said it looked great, but when we sold $70 in 90 minutes, her reply was that we needed to sell cheap items…we don’t sell cheap items. I’ve been in the business for decades, I know the industry, we sell fully vetted crystals, we are very knowledgeable, educated, we really know our stuff, gemologist level, and if you’re expecting as a retailer to get a community of interested and educated buyers, you’ll be sad. The buyers expect giveaways and Temu pricing. If you’re willing to sell something and break even, this crystal community may be for you. I can’t vouch for anything plant related but I’ll guess it’s better since Palmstreet as made for plants and not crystals.

this app support has purposely discriminated against me because I reported someone that were threatening me my children and my followers. When I asked them to do something about that person, they did absolutely nothing, but then told me if I mention it again that I would be thrown off the platform when I did nothing wrong. Now this app support has blocked me completely so next time this girl comes in threatening me. I cannot even report it.. And they’re saying that’s not discrimination. So they’re blackmailing me as well.. They know that this girl committed about 10 to 15 federal crimes on their platform. And they’re scared to death. It’s gonna be leaked out so they blackmailed me to keep my mouth shut. I’m going to get an attorney.

Be prepared… some of the bigger sellers on Palmstreet have their people clicks. Some of their giveaways are obviously rigged for their clicks because they pull names out of a bucket off camera. This also include their pull games.. they are done to where you can’t see. It’s always the same people to win. I’ve been on multiple lives trying to purchase items, were they will just ignore comments made in the chat just to offer the item to their groupies. It’s frustrating honestly. If you want to get on an app and not feel included then be my guest, try it out for yourself. I’m really not a fan of how things are run on Palmstreet.

I bought plants from Orange Lake Nursery via this app. They arrived two days late without the heat protection I paid for with a very dead TC inside. OLN refunded me for the heat pack they never sent but said my plant is “salvageable” so they would be doing nothing. I was then gaslit by the company saying that the seller said i never grew TC before. (One not true. Two that has nothing to do with receiving a plant that is already dead.) They also acknowledged that I was refunded for the heat pack but will not provide a refund for the plant that was dead because they sent no heat pack. They said the seller said the roots looked the same. Even though I sent this app photos clearly showing they were not.

TLDR: Big companies can send you a box of dirt and this app will gaslight you and tell you it’s your fault and they can’t refund you. I am also a Pro member so nothing protects you.

They have since reached out to me offering me credits to remove my review. When I refused my account was deleted by them. Would drop my review lower if possible.

It told me if I signed up I would get “up to $50 in coupon/credit to use on Palmstreet ”. So I signed up, once I submitted it gave me the option to pick between 2 different options: either $30 in shipping costs or something else. Within 5 seconds, Before I even had a chance to read it, another one of their ads popped up and I lost both options; never to return. It only left a bad taste in my mouth since this has happened with other apps that promise credits with sign up but then those credits never come. Maybe this hasn't happened to everyone, but it’s my first impression which is already not off to a good start.

Customer support takes up to 24 hours to get back to you and are not helpful in the least, they just say whatever they need to get you to stop messaging them. I purchased their “this app pro” subscription and received none of the amenities the subscription offers (Palmstreet just keeps telling me to purchase subscription again) I also reached out to customer service about what is taking so long on my application to go live. It’s supposed to be a 3-5 businesses day wait and I’ve filled out two applications now since July 4th. Customer service just keeps telling me that they are “expediting the process”.

I suddenly lost all my followers after an update to Palmstreet . Palmstreet also seems to change quite a bit and frequently. More time could be spent fixing the bugs rather than making changes to the way Palmstreet functions constantly- buttons and whatnot. I also still cannot get behind the sale of live animals on Palmstreet . It is abundantly clear that literally anyone can sell plants in which they know nothing about. Adding live animals to that mix seems sketchy. When I added Palmstreet, it was plants. Now it is a dozen other things and feels quite a bit like Etsy. It is a good premise for an app, but so very quickly selling out to make a higher profit.

Having been someone who has bought MANY plants online since 2020 on multiple platforms I came to this platform to follow a recent seller when another one had a ban. I have a few tips Palmstreet does nothing to protect the buyer at all. 1) no incentive to have sellers ship products in a timely manner like other apps 2) improper charge /like a seller charges you for insulation protection an up charge and doesn’t do it they leave it to seller to resolve. 3) product doesn’t ship the seller gets to decide your rebate / hence you end up with partial refund they keep taxes / shipping charge for a plant you never received. The legal thing would be to give a full refund. You try to resolve an issue with a seller they block you so now you have to take it to your bank instead of the Apps customer service review process seeing photos of a plant arriving in pieces because of poor shipping practice . My advice as a buyer be cautious on Palmstreet. As a seller game on you call the shots on here. Sadly my first issue with a seller online turns into a financial loss for me a lesson learn.

Be mindful that they claim drop shipping is not allowed, I bought a plant and come to find out doing my own research that the seller uses a third party and they are not the actual nursery/private owner and shipper, (Houseplantshop was where my plant shipped from). I could have literally went straight to this website directly. Customer service was very robotic and not very personable, I literally asked do they allow sellers to drop ship, (after they sent out a policy update stating this was not allowed) and 3 days later the reply was basically how can we help you? Like did you read anything I wrote? There are probably some great sellers on here, but my one experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The whole experience has been weird, research whom you choose to buy from on this site. Still waiting to hear back, the seller is still on the site. If I could easily find out the info, what’s taking them so long. I’m just going to delete my account and Palmstreet . They should state where the plant is coming from and the actual name of the business.

This update has taken away the feature that allows you to see when you last watered. Once you go past the watering day, it just says overdue. Oh, and I can’t change how frequent I need to water anymore. It’s impossible to find another app that tracks watering, doesn’t glitch, and is free. Now I’m going to have to resort to making my own excel spreadsheet and not be able to share my collection with others. At least I’ll be buying fewer plants because I won’t be on Palmstreet as much! I wanted to rate 3 stars because of this, but I’ve enjoyed using Palmstreet too much! This is the only thing I have a problem with!

Love this idea for an app. As a plant girly, Palmstreet is super fun for me to look around on.
I do find that searching for specific things is difficult. I was wanting to find some care tips for my plants but couldn’t figure out the search function. I saw that there was a space for that when you put a plant on your profile, but most of my plants are identified incorrectly by Palmstreet even though I name them myself, so I can’t get accurate information.
I also hate seeing live animals (reptiles) being auctioned off on live sales😕 Something about that just feels yucky to me. Kinda wish that wasn’t allowed on Palmstreet 🤷🏼‍♀️

I just received my first plants from a seller on Palmstreet and was seriously pleased! The discounts I got when I made my account were awesome. I just wish there was some sort of way to “favorite” listings like you can in other store apps. It’s nerve wracking finding a plant and then not knowing if you’ll be able to find the listing again. Would definitely love to see some more organization possibilities in Palmstreet!

Love Palmstreet ti infinity! BUT… somethings need to change being when you purchase something there should be a record of the video or something so I don’t have to Screen shot in a rush! 4 times I’ve gotten plants that I had to settle for because UPS or other unforeseen Issues arise & I didn’t het the item I’ve picked out because I didn’t screen shot it 😒

2. Not being able to scroll down or up to the next live without having to manually exit if I want to watch another seller🥶

Besides that Palmstreet is pretty great,! It is just kinks and issues you have to be EXTRA CAREFUL

I’ve been on Palmstreet since August and let me tell you it is a plant lovers dream (they also have sellers who offer other things like crystals pottery)!! I’ve bought many plants and have met some amazing people in this plant community! Recently I’ve had some issues a logging in to my account and they even had to reach out to their engineer team but they helped me retrieve my account and I am very grateful and amazed by how quick they were able to do it! Definitely recommend this app to anyone and everyone! :)

I am a really dedicated plant lover. I’ve joined countless FB groups, followed people on IG, and Googled until the ends of the earth to just be let down by plant purchases. Until PLANT STORY!! They’re marketplace and LIVE shows are amazing. I buy plants instantly, the sellers are great to work with, and I can even post about my plants to the community. Not many people in my circle understand my love for plants but now I am apart of an ENTIRE community who loves to talk plants all the time! Thanks to Plant Story for creating such an amazing app.

I have owned my crystal business going on 5 years now, and I have been practicing crystal healing for almost 2 decades. Prior to this app, I had great success on another major selling platform, but still, nothing has helped us grow quite like PS!

We are an LLC, and Palmstreet has been nothing but beneficial! So much so, that my husband doesn’t need to work for us to survive! The community on Palmstreet is positive, and the buyers go out of their way to be supportive! In 5 months, we have gained almost 800 followers and we just hit our 3000th sale! We do not operate a brick and mortar, and have been exclusively online for the past 3 years, so having an app like this app is convenient not only for us, but for our customers past, present and future.

These folks have become our family - and we look forward to engaging with each and every one of them every week! As a seller, I can honestly say that the money we make is more than I could have ever asked for, but the experience has been priceless!!

Palmstreet provides a platform for growers and makers to sell their wares to customers all over the country. I have been able to buy plants I can’t find anywhere else from the growers who care about their plants and not big box stores who deal with big greenhouse companies.
The people who run Palmstreet boot off scammy sellers and buyers which increases my confidence in the sellers I encounter on Palmstreet . The growers and makers are professional competent and NICE. So many offer to answer plant care questions and actually do answer when I ask.
It’s a little dangerous for my bank account but otherwise I love Palmstreet and community.

I absolutely love the this app app. I am on live auctions every single day with some amazing plant sellers and a wonderful community that has been built on Palmstreet. I enjoy it so much. I love that we are able to upload our plants to keep track of them, but I wish I could share my collection with my friends on Palmstreet ! I wish the growing section was visible to others as well as myself.

I’ve used Palmstreet for a while so I can give a REAL Review!
Palmstreet is like my plant’s BFF! It tells me when to water, if it’s getting too much sunlight, if the pot is the right size, etc. it gives a great health diagnosis and it has a social media explore page.
They should rename Palmstreet Plant BFF
I wish they had pop up ads instead of having to pay for premium features. Still highly recommend!
