4.1 out of 5
Lacks basic functionality and poorly optimized.

There was a paucity of apps that are able to do what this app “allegedly” does on Linc Store. However, this app is buggy, laggy, seldom updated and is in terrible shape overall. I regret the money I spent on it.

Doesn’t work

You can’t add relationships

You have to pay for premium to use the app.

I wasn’t expecting all of the relationships to be behind the pay wall. :/

Started using app for 30 seconds before it crashed

Linc concept is needed, but Linc itself is woefully broken. Will be deleting immediately.

Crash

I was texting out the trial n liked it so far but it keeps crashing and freezing now.
I might just delete the whole app now

App crashes on relationship screen

I like the idea of Linc but it every time I try to add a relationship it crashes/quotes suddenly.

Performance

Good app but performance in iOS 14 is lacking. App constantly freezes

Great app but needs further work.

I like Linc and believe it is capable of bringing tremendous value to those who want to manage relationships in a systematic way.

It does require some work though when it comes to functionality. Several suggestions which stand out right away:

1) Ability to work with relationships in bulk (removing, regrouping, setting reminders, etc.). Some basic features such as “select all” are missing.

2) Ability to rename preset group names (family, friend, etc.)

3) Ability to add more groups

4) Ability to add “tags” to contacts

5) Search function by key word within Linc

6) Ability to add locations for contacts and display them on a map (i.e. showing nearby contacts, etc.)

7) Further debugging needed:

- icon badges don’t always display correctly

- long press shortcut to record interaction sends the user to notes first, which it should not (there’s a separate shortcut already made for it)

Overall, good work by the developer. Please add functionality.

Pricing seems off

I love the idea of Linc . And Its alright but the pricing seems a bit much. I’d love it if the year was $15 and the lifetime subscription was $30. Which even that is a bit high for the purpose of Linc and if it even requires a subscription but I understand that developers need income as well. But at the moment I can’t justify the pricing of the tiers even though I want to try them and would be down for a one time purchase but for $70 that’s a bit much. Even $30 for this purpose I’m not sure on, but I would be a lot more comfortable for that for what I get out of Linc and the ability to support the creator

Great application!

Met the developer at a iOS get together. Great guy! Have some feedback at the end but only because on a simulator 😅 can’t use feedback button.

Looks - Linc is fluid, and really feels comfortable in the Apple ecosystem. Everything transitions smoothly and feels comfortable in your hands.

Functionality - relation has a great focus on relationships of any kind - and genuinely has a great experience overall.

Wrap up - While Linc is fully functional, the more the merrier. I would love to see a “spouse” option, and eventually the application help me steer towards itself rather than forget about it. I wouldn’t mind more push notifications, as family, social life, and interacting with loved ones is crucial. And as a developer myself, I can sometimes always forget to do so.
Where Linc shines in UI and execution - I worry that Linc will go to the background after building these habits myself with the help of Linc itself. Would love to see something that gives me more of a reason to engage, like rewards or trophies or points for following through and validation!

Loving Linc but noticed that just interacting even with someone’s contact card (specifically our relationship) to a “healthy” status any known I did not interact with the person themselves!

Hope my review helps!
@Ezra_Black_

Helps me get L41D

Chicks actually think I care about them but it’s really just Linc reminding me to send a text.

Great app!

Most useful app of mine, especially this year! Price is definitely worth the lifetime unlock!

Helps me maintain Relationships

As an introvert, I’m not always the best at staying in contact with those that mean a lot to me. I’m happy to go through life only bumping into people at work, church, or other social activities. With the recent pandemic though, I’m not doing these things and noticed I’ve been losing touch with people I care about. Linc gives me the prompts and the reminder that I have people who love me and I should check in with and keep contact going!

Thanks for helping me not let my social connections die!

Quality App

I always wanted to play Persona 4 in real life.

Nice App!

It has everything you need to keep track of important relationships and is easy to understand and use.

Great for keeping in touch

Such a timely app! It makes getting in touch and staying in touch a snap. It would be further simplified with short talking prompts for those people you want to stay in contact with but never know what to chat about.

Great App

Whether you’re too busy to mentally keep track of interactions with family members and friends or getting older and more forgetful (like me), Linc makes staying in touch easy and gives you peace of mind in knowing you’re not neglecting important relationships. Definitely worth purchasing!

Great idea, executed well

Title says it all, try it

Good potential

I’ve long wanted an app that does this and have tried many that failed for me. This is the first I’ve actually subscribed to, hoping the developer will get enough income to keep working on it.

Wish list:
- Would love it it could automatically update “last contact” date by checking my message and call history. iOS probably prevents this for privacy reasons, but if there were a way to do it (without sending my data off device) that’d be awesome. Without that, I have to manually go into Linc each time I interact with someone which is not realistic, especially as I track more relationships.
- Would love an updated UI. The current one is okay, but doesn’t feel as polished as other apps like Things, Apple apps, etc.

All in all, though, this is the best relationship tracking app I’ve found so far.
