Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen Reviews

We moved to Avon about 2 years ago. There were several restaurants that served fresh grilled fish available to us previously, but we could not find comparable seafood nearby. Tonight we ordered grilled whitefish from Cheddars and were delighted to find an excellent restaurant for fresh grilled fish locally. Thank you!

I signed up in the restaurant but did not receive my confirmation email. So I logged on to my app and it wouldn’t recognize my email or my password. So I hit forgot password and it told me my email was not valid. So then I tried to set up a new account and this time it told me my email was already used. So which is it? My email was already set up so it should be able to reset my password or it’s not already used and I should be able to set up a new account. Frustrating! As evidence this is a problem when I tried to type my name for this post going in circles was already taken!

I’m sitting in cheddars parking lot for the first time. Open CheddarsScratchKitchen , location service asked if they can be used to find the closest store. I click when using CheddarsScratchKitchen .
My order ended up being sent sent to another 34 miles away. I think you may want to work on this. lol. The people at the store were wonderful and said this happens all the time. Sad for you guys to not get this right. But thankfully the staff were on the A Game. Thank you for that.

Went to Cheddars in Webster. Food was delicious and service was fantastic. Our waitress could not have been better. Not only was she great in nature, she was so attentive, professional, and responsive to our every need. Cannot wait to go back!

I used to be impressed with CheddarsScratchKitchen . Now, after the most recent update, I get pop ups, I get errors when I try to check out (saying that dishes are “unavailable”), and the notes section has now been removed, so I can no longer leave notes for dietary restrictions and substitutions.
It has dissuaded me from ordering.

Haven’t been in your store since
Covid. I was looking forward to my return. Server was great, Leah. But it took a long time to get food and when we got it chicken tenders were cold and fries were soggy and cold. Disappointed for sure because we were so looking forward to our meal there especially the chicken tenders.

CheddarsScratchKitchen has so many bugs it’s rather stunning. Downloaded today, we eat cheddars every 5 or 6 weeks so seemed worth it. You choose to add a sauce and it adds all the sauces by default. You want to checkout but not store your cc info? Not possible and once it’s stored you can’t remove it.

Arrive to pickup food and i get a text with a link that takes me to CheddarsScratchKitchen to enter my parking space info so I enter “8” and it says must be 1-6.

Weird and untested.

CheddarsScratchKitchen is extremely frustrating for me. I have tried three different times to place an order on three different occasions. Each time, it takes me all the way through to check out. It allows me to enter how many sets of plasticware I need, it allows me to enter the color and make of the car and the name of the driver. And that’s as far as it goes. So frustrating. We just ended up getting drive thru hamburgers at Whataburger.

So glad that Cheddar’s now has an app! CheddarsScratchKitchen and curbside pick up have made ordering my family’s favorites to go even more convenient.

The food is great, the hostess that answers the phone to then transfer to the to go counter needs to work on her manners at the Alliance Fort Worth location. Seven minutes I waited on the phone for her to come back and again I had to reiterate that I was waiting to place a to go order. Her response, “well I don’t know what’s going on so….” 11:23 on hold and then to place the order, ridiculous.

We have attempted to order through CheddarsScratchKitchen 3 times, but have gotten an error message every time. It tells us it’s unable to move to the payment page & then starts marking the last item in the cart as not available. When we call the restaurant, everything is available just like normal.

I had problems with it taking my credit card. I tried numerous times and it would not let me place the order through CheddarsScratchKitchen . I had to go thru the website to place the order. Needs to be fixed

We have always thought of Cheddars as one of the best restaurants. BUT they have REMOVED the best onion rings in Dayton off the menu!!! BAD BUSINESS DECISION BY THE BEAN COUNTERS!

Not sure what is going on with Cheddars. Hopefully they will get their thinking right when the pandemic is over. Or they may lose one of their best supporters.

Update: the issue has been fixed. I am able to log in and view everything.

I can’t even log in. I get the “client certificate required” pop up

CheddarsScratchKitchen makes it easy to order, but the checkout process was a complete fail. It would not accept either of our gift cards, and it required too much information from my credit card. It took me 10 minutes to pay for my order. Totally unacceptable

I use CheddarsScratchKitchen everyday to get Togo food because my life is so sad. It makes my life much better because of the ease of use. So you should get it too.

Useless for me. Even if you select a restaurant location to order from, CheddarsScratchKitchen will block you from ordering with a large screen prom-ting you to enable location services. No other restaurant app has this requirement. Either this is a bug or Cheddar’s is suspiciously insisting on tracking you. No thanks.

Everything was fresh, and tasted wonderful. The ice tea was great. Will definitely order from Cheddars again

Cheddars is the best food in town. Service as of late has been pretty slow due to a staff shortage but each server we have is always great. Otherwise, I’d give 5 stars.

Made super easy to order my Cheddar’s faves especially during pandemic times. No problems, smooth interface. Love it!

cheddars scratch kitchen in college station tx was a great experience for my family and i! from hostess to our server, everything was exceptional. recommend cheddars for great price and service

Doesn’t matter how many times I PROPERLY put my card info in, it keeps saying “please enter valid card info” like what? Also, the scan card thing literally doesn’t do anything at all it’s hilarious.

The food & the service at the Cypress store is so YUM and great!!!!
