Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever COVapp app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix COVapp app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the COVapp app on iPhone
Update COVapp app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall COVapp iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix COVapp on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve COVapp network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Turn off your VPN:
1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

COVapp Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix COVapp not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent COVapp app issues:

Force Stop the COVapp App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click COVapp app. » click "Force Stop".

Update COVapp to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear COVapp App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "COVapp app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch COVapp.

Fix COVapp unable to contact server/ COVapp internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click COVapp » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got COVapp » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch COVapp on android.

When you start, you have to give your consent, else you can't fill in the daily diary and COVapp doesn't collect this data. COVapp does not collect any other data from your device, other then the you manually enter (symtpoms). When you have created an account (emailaddres and phonenumber for 2-step verification login), you can login and use COVapp . COVapp doesn't collect any personal information. You can fill in a daily diary (list of symptoms) and see information about the virus and see FAQ about it. this app gives you the opportunity to participate in scientific research.
