- Lights would unsung all the time
- Didn't work properly
- App designed for them was terrible
- Interface was changed without notification
- App Support link on App Store listing takes user to Home Depot app
- Very few resources online on what to do if something goes wrong
- No easy to find, quick access to a sort of “system status check” website
Hubspace won't let me delete an event nor will it let me change an event.
Where to begin on the utter garbage that is the Hubspace App. 1. To have the app connect to your WiFi AFTER it attempts to connect to a device was quite moronic. putting the wheelless cart before the dead horse there Home Depot. 2. If the device manages to connect (Bought 10 BR30 color led lights...only 1 ever connected to the APP, never WiFi). the App never connects to WiFi. But it will show the device connected, and that you need to "click below to connect to WiFi"...and when you scroll down there's no way to try and connect to WiFi. 3. Doesn't matter if you scan the QR code, or type in the code...or even do the manual process; you hardly ever get a device to connect. I would literally stand either under the device, or right next to the router (set to 2.4Ghz asit recommends), but still NOTHING! 4. Removed the device (climbed up and down the damn ladder so many times...sooooo...many...times), and reseated it...and STILL NO CONNECTION 5. It's not my Internet signal...that's coasting at Near optimal with DL averaging 60Mbs and UL at 30Mbs...and no latency issues. 6. even switched from my S21 Ultra 5G, to I14 Pro, to even My Samsung S7 Tablet...Never worked. So I have 10 lights that I should be able to create "scenes" with or even be able to dim, but NOooooooooo. They just off and On lights. SO! Home Depot...fix your Damn APP! I would be embarassed if I slapped my name on a product that doesnt do the intended job.
Hubspace will not take the QR or numbers to add my bulbs.
The Hubspace app doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S21 5G. I can't get past the Sign In screen. After I enter my email and password "Sign In" button doesn't do anything.
Have 9 landscape lights but this crappy app only controls 1 light. The other 8 can’t be adjusted. Have deleted & reinstalled but still only can control 1 single light.
All of a sudden my only two outlets are offline. How do I fix this?
I have the colored patio lights. I have the Hubspace app. My wall voltage is 120v. The lights worked for the first couple of days. Then, half the string would turn on and blink, all while the app says it’s off. Only way to turn them off is to turn off power to the outlet.
Installed Defiant lock installed Hubspace app and created account. Connected app to lock and gateway smart plug. I am able to lock the door with the app but the status does not change to locked in the app. I am then unable to unlock the door remotely because the app still thinks it's unlocked. Locking the door manually does not change the status to locked either.
Won't stay connected to wi-fi. Onlt worked for 1 day. Product is garbage
I can't get my hubspace account for a light to allow me to reconnect. I can go into the account. I can get to the page where the internet connection can be seen. The app won't register my finger to change and/or reconnect the internet. Cheers, Rick
Landscape lights are not turning on at the correct time. I have the on time set for 8:15 PM and the lights come on at 8 PM.
Can not connect to the Hampton Bay 200 W transformer
My hubspace lights were integrated with Alexa as recently as this afternoon. Now they will not link.
I had the switch working (Smart 10 Amp Single-Pole Specialty White Light Switch with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technology) tried connecting my wife phone to switch and it came off of my phone and does not work on either phone. "Sorry that code didn't work quite right. Tap enter code to add manually" I did that and get the same message. I've taken the app off wife's phone. Uninstalled and added app back to my phone. No joy. I've restarted my phone. No joy. Ive turned the circuit breaker off to the switch and started everything over again. No joy. Keep getting message on app "Sorry that code didn't work quite right. Tap enter code to add manually"
The activity just tells if locked or unlocked by code, why doesn't it tell you who? We label the codes with names, but they do not appear in the activity report. Also I make a code for someone and once I hit "OK" the number disappears never to be seen again. Why can't we edit existing code or find them instead of making new ones. So far these are the only issues I have.
Lights randomly turn themselves on. App takes at least 5 minutes to load
None of my devices are connecting. The app says it is trying to reconnect and has said it all day but is not allowing me to do anything with the lights
Four lamps that previously worked, show as "off line" this morning.
Outlet, that was working for months, will no longer connect. Help!
I have 3 light bulbs connected to Hubspace and only 1 of them keeps going offline. When I try to fix it and scan the QR code I'm having trouble connecting it to my wifi. It's only this 1 bulb! It's happened several times now!
Just bought it. It worked for a few weeks then crashed this week. Still not working
I able to create an account but I did have doing that. Now I am having problem logging into it. There is not helpdesk or anyway of getting help. It seem that they release it before it was ready.
We purchased our outlets last year and used them with our Christmas lights. I have plugged in one of the outlets this year and have been able to turn on/off the lights with the app. However, the lights are not turning on/off with the schedule. I have to do this manually
Is there a way to keep Plugs keep going offline. They are at the edge of wifi reception
Can’t log into app. Splash screen opens. Takes me to hubspaceconnect.com enter info and says error encounter log in through app. Deleted and reinstalled. Reset network did complete phone reset and all have same issue
