I have a 2021 Renegade X 900T with the 7.8in gauge and am having issues with the BRP Go map freezing on the gauge during my rides (it will stop updating my position). I have an iPhone XR running iOS 14.4, with location services set to always with precise location. Two weeks ago I tried it in Area Exploration mode to record the route without downloading the map in advance. About 10mi in I lost cell coverage and the map position stopped updating on the gauge. Even when we got back into cell coverage the map wouldn’t update no matter what I tried, short of force quitting the app on the phone. I tried everything i could find on the gauge, like exiting BRP Go. I even tried unplugging the usb, reconnecting and relaunching and resuming BRP Go. However, when I finished the ride and clicked exit on the phone, and then save, it saved the entire track with no gaps in it. So, the app was still tracking position on the phone the whole time but the displayed position on the gauge was locked to the point where I lost cell coverage. This past weekend I didn’t have any better luck after downloading the map in advance while in Area Exploration mode. On a 135 mi ride the gauge map position still froze several times, though it did recover on its own a couple times and start updating again. At one point BRP Go on the gauge froze and would not take any inputs (zoom, exit, etc.). When finished, the app had recorded everything except the last 20 mi. During that time the app on the iPhone froze and I had to force quit the app to do anything with it. Between the freezing display and having unlock the phone every time I start the sled it is not very usable. Any recommendations on how to get the sled position to stop freezing?

BRP really missed the mark on this one, I ordered a 2021 sled with the upgraded gauge panel to use this app and it is a complete joke, there should be a class action brought against BRP as this feeble short sided attempt at a navigation system was a complete waste of money to any and all that paid for this upgrade with hopes it would work. Biggest disappointment! Should have ordered a Polaris with ride command as this system is an embarrassment. Scott / Eagle River, WI
