This is a poor effort from Ducati. Easy enough to get started, and to give away all your personal information. Registering a bike is awful. My VIN number is not enough?! MyDucati will not upload a picture of the registration unless it is a very specific type, e.g. jpg not jpeg. Hello developer! Apple has been using high efficiency photo format for years now. Changing my iPhone to the most compatible JPEG means files are saved as .jpeg !! If you want people to use MyDucati, start with making it useful on an iPhone.

Seems like a huge data gathering app for Ducati without providing the end user any real value. BMW and Lexus did not require anything but my VIN to show me information related to my bike. You don’t need my location either. Give me the option to search by city, state, zip. Also wanted too much personal info. Kind of makes me regret buying a new 2021 Ducati seeing how the company wants to breach my privacy so easily.

App doesn’t let you register. You can click on the “register” button all you want but it only refreshes the load page. If you try from the website and not MyDucati , it does the same thing.

Go back to the basics with the programming. Huge oversights across the board. You’d expect more from this company. Test before you market!

MyDucati never fully worked for me with a very confusing setup and hit & miss connection to the bikes. Now with this latest update, all I get is a white screen after logging in.

In other words — completely broken.

Way too much personal information required which Ducati is most likely going to sell. Several sections are buggy and freeze. Thumbs down.

I’m doing ok without MyDucati . You’ll do ok without all my personal info.

Dropping server connection during profile update, the locks up.

Needs more time in the oven.

No value as existing Ducati owner.

No matter how much of my data I give them - and it’s already too much - they still don’t consider my profile completed. What am I missing here? Every field has some kind of an answer, and yet i still don’t have full functionality because MyDucati thinks my profile isn’t complete.

No reason for wanting all that data. For those installing read their privacy policy. You can keep your app, uninstalled.

Ducati wants a picture of my ID and registration to get recall information? No thank you. Loved MyDucati idea up until that.

I moved from one part of the country to another joined a new local DOC, but I cannot delete the previous one that I am still associated with. You can only add them, you cannot delete them in MyDucati . I’m not sure why.

I’ve spent years rebuilding my vintage Duc and I can’t add it to my garage.

Update: the problems I was having appear to have resolved, perhaps with an updated version? Changed from 2 stars to 4.

I can’t get my preferred club to switch to my local club and my profile never reaches above 95%. I don’t have a Facebook account so this contributes to not fulfilling my profile requirements. A bit unfair that we have to supply all information for things we either do not have or want to keep private.

Great overall app experiences. Easy to navigate with no crashes after most recent update.

I would like to see pending recalls on my bike in the “my garage” section and the owners manual PDF.
