Keyboard Skins for iPhone Reviews

I've had KeyboardSkins for years-made many skins for keyboards! Users seemed to like them too! But recently I noticed my GBoard really messing up. I just liked it cause searching for emojis were easy. But I wanted to see if a different keyboatd would stop it & switched back to KeyboardSkins and use some of my favorites. I have, btw, even a premium user & my subscription is up in Aug, I think.

I will NOT be renewing or using KeyboardSkins at all! First, all my keyboards were gone! Maddening. But when I went to create the identical one-using identical background, all looked good until you set the keyboatd & put it into production. Preview doesn't even work! So my favorite keyboard's photo I've used for years is now blown out of proportion! You have the "Filters" and what looks like proper size of keyboard you'd reference and "USE", but it is NOT resized, nor even centered. And my keyboard settings are always center anyway! It was terrible! So I tried another I knew I had made-SOS! And there are features missing where we used to be able to not only set a key color, but its outline if wanted. I may be wrong, but this is 90% of app I used and THAT feature was used.

I have no clue why now nothing resizes or centers. I assume your prefab ones work. But coming from an older applications programmer, this should NOT have even even rolled out. It feels, looks, and certainly performs like some beta version. So disappointed!

I love the ability to make your own skin, but the tile transparency won't stay when you use the custom skin. The auto correct works but is a bit annoying when i have to write a name that it thinks isn't right, i end up switching keyboards to write a name. Also when i make my own skin it tends to stretch the image if it doesn't fit just right, so thats a little annoying. Other than that it works well and looks really cool!

Use to be one of my top favorite keyboard apps.. But after it was updated, its been movin its way on down, the favorites list. The biggest thing that I loved about KeyboardSkins, was the option to watch a video or rate KeyboardSkins , Etc.. And unlock the locked themes, For free ! i rrally thought it was so fun ! Now, when I want to unlock a theme, Its like a miracle, When the little tab pops up to watch an ad & unlock for free, Cause it just never happens .
And theres also small, Technical quirks and flaws with the actual, keyboard, Itself. Like when you press whatever key and It stand up till you realease it ? ? Yeah, The ''s'' key, On my keyboard, Is alway standin up. All the time, Whether i touch it or not. Aha
Otherwaise.. ; Its a pretty entertaining, fun and Unique, app !

I am so disappointed with KeyboardSkins that I’m writing a review and I have never reviewed or rated an app even when displeased with an app in the past. KeyboardSkins provides little to choose from. What it does offer is low quality and poorly designed and basic in every way. They did the bare minimum in every aspect. I think a toddler could have been more creative and provided more options and features that weren’t basic and just generally not worth the time it takes to download it. It is a disappointment and I would not recommend KeyboardSkins to anyone. I can’t even submit this review without having to give it at least one star. But I don’t think it deserves one. After uninstalling it I had to take multiple steps just to get rid of it. 👎

I love KeyboardSkins! There are some great things about it. Being able to change your keyboard, changing the sounds, and fonts, all the new emojis! However, there are some down sides to KeyboardSkins. On certain websites the whole keyboard doesn’t fit, most of the keyboards you have to pay for, the autocorrect doesn’t work as well, I don’t feel completely comfortable giving it access to whatever I type but I did it anyway and if you reset back to your normal keyboard, it’s harder to access your emojis. Overall, it’s a decent app but, there are some bad things about it.

Don’t buy it! It doesn’t work I tried everything and yet it didn’t work so I’m saying to not get it till they fix the stuff that it is doing! Also I’m giving it one star not because that’s how it is it because I don’t want to be mean! But really do NOT get it I was really happy then I tested it and it was the same!! I’m really mad because I like the little skins but it didn’t work at all maybe it’s not for iPhone but fix it please and maybe I will get it probably not but yeah please fix it and stop making people get it then it never works! I have had it for a while trying it it every one week it so and nope never works even with the instructions!! So DON’T GET IT! Just saying it don’t work dude!!I'm so mad!!

Worked fine at first then the I bought full version, now whether I add a skin from KeyboardSkins or make one with the skin maker but can only use the letter M once, after which it disappears, I was having fun with the keyboard skin maker.

NOTE... developers need to add a microphone button, need to talk and text half the time.

At this time I would have recommend everyone NOT , AS IN DO NOT get KeyboardSkins as is you have same issue it’s basically useless with no letter M.

Fix that quick and I won’t seek refund and I’ll use it some, fix that issue and add a mike button for talk and text and I’ll use it all the time.
But right now I’ll be asking Apple for a refund, but I’ll checking to see if that’s fixed and I would definitely buy KeyboardSkins again.

APP DOES HAVE MUCH POTENTIAL I THINK DEFINITELY!!! Would five star it if you fix missing letters and add a mike button. Get some better fonts guys, I mean come on, you can barely read some of the choices, the rest are either plain or just awful. I could let that slide though if u fix the rest.

I love it i get to have a new key board instead of a boring one like the one you get when u first get your phone. I showed my friends and they were SOOOO jealous! They got KeyboardSkins and they like it to! Im so greatfull to have KeyboardSkins. Making this was probly kind of hard (or really hard). Im even typing this Review with the new key board! Its really pretty. What im trying to say is thank u for making KeyboardSkins and i hope u make other people happy to with this!

I doesn’t work I did everything it said to do and it wouldn’t work just don’t buy it trust me you won’t like it because it doesn’t work I saw all the other reviews that said it doesn’t work and I didn’t listen because I am hard headed but they were right it really doesn’t work I am so mad because I thought I would have a cut keyboard skin but no I was wrong so overall just download roblox play bloxburg and eat that is what I am about to do but take my word trust me do not buy it,I promise it won’t work and I am very serious about promises. I love KeyboardSkins it makes my keyboard so cute and original instead of plain and boring! It was working fine for a while but then when I would go on KeyboardSkins I would start crashing. It would either completely shut my phone off or it would just take me back to home!? I don’t know what the deal is. just giving a heads up :)

I really enjoy KeyboardSkins, however, after the iOS 14 update, KeyboardSkins is not working properly for me. It lets me look at the different themes available, but it does not allow me to apply them, it’s almost like the keyboard disappears. Please fix this with an update soon. Because I do enjoy KeyboardSkins when it is working.

I’m an iPad user and I decided to get KeyboardSkins to spice things up, so I did and I logged in all that stuff and then when I was making a skin the colors were messed up bec when I clicked green it ended up blue and if I clicked purple it would be green and for the rest too..I didn’t mind that until I set the keyboard up and I go to check it out but I can’t type! There was nothing on my keyboard so I deleted KeyboardSkins , this is from my experience and opinion it might work for other people. I’m not sure but overall I didn’t like my experience nor KeyboardSkins .

I love the variety of keyboard skins and how you can make your own, but when you type on it it’s kinda slow. I don’t know if it’s my device personally, and I’m sorry if it’s just my phone and I’m complaining about your app for nothing. Although I have checked my regular keyboard many times and it types at a fast speed and I mean this with ALL respect but I believe it’s KeyboardSkins that makes my typing slow. Other than the slow typing it’s a great app 😁

When i first got it i was s excited but then it started to ask me to unlock new fetures but i didn’t want to so I didn’t after if you try getting keyboard it tell you to unlock features or rate to get the keyboard and like I said I didn’t want the features so i rated KeyboardSkins 4 stars but I didn’t rated rate it 5 because it ask me to rate it anyway after I rated I went back to KeyboardSkins to see if it had worked IT DIDN’T WORK so that’s why It gave it 1 star but if you are a genius and know how to fix everything or a person who just likes to struggle then this is the right app for you

The skins provided in KeyboardSkins work but only sometimes. Most of the time it’s glitching or double typing letters. And when I decided to make my own keyboard it completely stretched the photo when I actually used it. Yet it looks just fine when I “test” it. I’m not sure what’s going on but I’d like a refund if that’s possible. I just spent 20 bucks and it’s not quite working the way I hoped. However the skins provided are very cute and quite creative.

Just became a fan of this nice Keyboard, but it need an update and this is my opinion. It need a ñ for when i or someone say something in spanish also when you choose an emoji it doest really save on recent emoji option and last we need a keyboard volume for when we choose a sound for the skin keyboard.

The keyboards seem cool at first but when you scroll there are some very inappropriate keyboards! KeyboardSkins is not for 4 year olds and it says it is 4+. People are using pictures that make some people feel uncomfortable! I am not going to say what kind of photos were on those keyboards but you can NEVER get KeyboardSkins especially kids. Can you give zero stars, No! So I would much rather not even give a review because I have to choice but to give it 1 star. I how you never get KeyboardSkins!

I am not sure how well KeyboardSkins works yet because I keep getting interrupted by adds and requests to review the product.

So since I have been pestered for this review all I can say is: the adds are annoying to long and to frequent. Also you might want to make it not pester you for a review. Seems like it at least works which warrants at least 2 stars but I don’t know enough about it yet to rate it fully.

KeyboardSkins is amazing i could die for it it has the best sound but you do wanna make sure that the sound is a good sound or it gets really annoying but for me it is cute the watermelon skin is my favorite it goes perfect for the summer jshdhsihsbsjwhen you type it is nice and easy now all my friends are liking it i really recommend KeyboardSkins it is so cool and you do not have to pay so unless you wanna unlock every thing please try KeyboardSkins out it works perfectly and pls do not leave rude comments love KeyboardSkins hope you do to 🙂😁😃😄😀😇😍😙🤪there are also cool emojis ⓗⓐⓥⓔ ⓐ ⓝⓘⓒⓔ ⓓⓐⓨ 😍🤪😀😃🙂😁😄😇😙bye i do recommend

I love how much you can edit your ion keyboard but my main problem is that simple yet important settings fail to work such as the auto-correct and auto-cap that I've become well attuned to from the basic keyboard. And on another note theres a slight but noticeable input lag. If these problems were fixed I'd gladly go back to it and give KeyboardSkins hr full 5 stars.

Okay, so I have an iPod so my keyboard is really tiny so I practically count on auto correct to save me. KeyboardSkins is great, but it has NO AUTO CORRECT AT ALL! It does not work at all for me. Plus, it says you can make skins. You can’t unless you pay $20. I know everyone is exited about how many skins there are, but I can scroll through them all and look at every single one in like 1-2 minutes! Although I love some of the keyboards, please fix these things.
