Constantly Locked Out

The problem with Tyndall is it locks my account multiple times a week when I use the correct password. I have to call this app to unlock Tyndall then I login with the SAME password I was using that locked my account. this app is closed on the weekends so all weekend I don’t have access to my accounts. I call every Monday morning to unlock my account. Then it locks again at least one more time during the week before the weekend. Also, forget finger print login on this new app. Worst app I’ve ever used.

WORST APP

I have absolutely no idea why this app changed apps, the last app worked great. I hate Tyndall. It is not user friendly one bit. I constantly have login issues which is so frustrating. I’m not able to use my savings app Qapital (that I love) in conjunction with this app’s mobile app because I would have to login to the mobile app on my Qapital app. I didn’t have any issue using this app’s old app but with this new app, I only receive a message that says I am not enrolled in online banking when trying to login. I cannot figure out why it will not allow me to login and even called this app’s help center but they couldn’t help. Either Tyndall needs MAJOR work or scrap Tyndall and relaunch the old app. Also I am very skeptical of the rating of 4.7 stars for Tyndall . Everyone this app member I have spoken to about the new app have had the same issues that are reflected in the numerous 1-star reviews.

Changed app

I can think of no reason why this app would of taken there online banking app and throw it back into the dark ages like it did a few months back I can’t hardly use it anymore it’s only set for phone use now but was ipad computer friendly before where u could actually see handful of transactions but as it is now it’s impossible you can only see the last couple transactions on your screen it’s horrible to navigate around with such little info being displayed on the screen.

New viewing page for individual accounts

It is the most irritating thing to try and view your checks and deposits for your account and only see three items at a time. The previous way you could scan down your transactions and see what you were looking for in seconds, usually. Now, it takes forever. Don’t know how anyone could see this as an improvement. Wastes so much time trying to glance, no, there is no such thing as glancing anymore, and see if something has posted!

Craptastic

I wish I could screenshot the issues. I been trying to see my account since the update 3 days ago and can’t. When you do see you account it hard to read because everything runs together on the left side of the screen. How hard is it to space each entry out? I am glad I just have a loan with this bank because I would move my account based on Tyndall alone.

Poor app design

I have always banked with this app due to their customer service and online bill pay app being so user friendly. The new app is not user friendly at all. When paying bills it no longer provides a total of all the bills scheduled to be paid. It also doesn’t provide a balance after each transaction anymore. It lacks so many features the old app provided for YEARS. The new app is a disappointing downgrade to what this app use to offer unfortunately😢

Tyndall Federal Credit Union

This is not a criticism of this app Federal Credit Union. They are the best people I’ve ever banked with. It is really a privilege to be a member. My problem is with the mobile app. It consistently fails and drops and goes inactive when using it. It says network connection failure but my network is perfectly fine for all other apps. Once it goes into this failure mode you can’t sign off or do anything else with it. You just have to stay logged in and close it and hope it will time out later. Another problem is setting up biometrics. It is very user unfriendly when trying to set this up, especially if you previously had it set up. The user headings are not specific enough to find the functions easily. You have to check several to find the one you need. Tyndall needs to be completely reworked to make it sensible and user friendly.

Review

I have other banking accounts and have banked for many years. this app made this big upgrade a few months back. It made Tyndall by far less user friendly. The system is too busy and bogs down way too easy. It literally takes several seconds to change from one page to another. To pull up and look at my accounts it takes seconds to load in order to look at a check. Then can’t figure out how to go back . Next is to transfer money from one account to another takes several seconds to transfer. Once this new system has gone in place it has been a cumbersome banking system. Sometimes just to change things doesn’t always make it better. Take this into consideration when making changes! Thank you for the work you do this banking app!

Works some times.

When trying to access my account, about every other month it refuse my password. I have to get a new one to use it. This happened 4 times in last 10 months.

On my wife account it locks her account. Have to go to office to get it in locked. Two months later, she's locked out again.

Using Tindell video app no help. It never connects to anyone. Worse then using the phone. On hold for ever.

Online Deposit

The camera function needs to be updated. I never have issues with my 5/3 bank with snapping a picture on the first try and it being accepted. Every month I have to try to submit the check 10 plus time before it’s accepted. There has to be an issue with the software not capturing the image.

The website is easy to use and find information.

Great app great credit union

Even with all going on in the world today this credit union has been there to help. Great customer service at the Marianna branch, always friendly and ready to help.

Great service, pretty good app but this app needs to get with the times. Every other bank allows Apple Pay or Google pay, this needs to be fixed before this app gets 5 stars.

Not an upgrade

Update: Wish the running balance would still be displayed in the accounts. That was a convenient feature.

The new this app app is not good.
Old version was much better.
I have an iPhone 8S. When viewing my individual account transactions, I must hold my phone horizontally so it all fits on my screen and isn’t cut off on the right side.
Why was there an upgrade?
My husband and I don’t like it.
If there was a negative rating I’d chose that.

It is a fair app

Tyndall runs a lot slower than Tyndall I use for my other credit union up north. It is frustrating when I am trying to check balances or transfer money and it lags.

Excellent long term financial relationship.

My husband opened his lst this app acct in 1966 while stationed at this app AFB. This was long before satellite offices, credit cards and ATMs. I opened an acct in the 70s while employed with Bay Medical Ctr Hosp. In Panama City, Fl. Our joint acct continues and I imagine my acct will remain active as long as I am.
Any problems have always been resolved.

Makes Life Easier

I cannot say how much Tyndall has helped my crazy, busy life! As long as I can remember my password, I’m all set. Everything I need to do is included in Tyndall. Thank you for making it easy for my mixed-up mind to be able to use, and use successfully.

It is a nice surprise to find money in your savings account to buy food. With everyone struggling with the pandemic and then those who are still waiting for a house to be rebuilt from Hurricane Michael. Paying a mortgage and rent is nearly impossible.

Thank you again for your professionalism and exemplary service. Once a week I deposit a check from work into my checking or savings account. I have never had any problems with doing so through this app’s mobile check deposit features.

Old app better and easier

The old app was better and easier to use. I’m still trying to work out this new bill pay functionality.

Poorly optimized

The old app was way more clear and less complicated. The new one is extremely buggy and has a view almost like your viewing it from a website not a app. Cuts off numbers instead of showing you what you need the font of the home screen is extremely small for casual usage. Just overall a extreme downgrade compared to the previous app. I can only hope they update this soon enough

Pure Junk

Not user friendly and customer service, while friendly, is no help resolving the issue. iPad attempts are nothing but frustrating. Boots you off every time you attempt to click an icon. Seriously thinking of changing banks and I’ve been a member for over 10 yrs. I wish I could give it NO STARS!

Disappointing

Previous App was as close to perfection as you can get for a banking app in my opinion. I’ve used numerous banking apps over the years. Tyndall ranks right at the bottom. Seems like any time I try to navigate somewhere in Tyndall , I have to sign back in. Tyndall is worthless. I’m back to having to use a desktop computer.

Not user friendly

I’ve only had Tyndall a couple of days and I’m already locked out of it! This upgrade was a terrible idea and lost all the ease of banking for a person that lives hundreds of miles away from an an actual physical branch! UGH how am I suppose to do my banking when I can’t even log into Tyndall ??!!! Please rethink this terrible design!!!

GARBAGE

I am totally livid. We were forced to change to this updated app which is terrible. I was able to get in once and now will not allow me in. It is not user friendly at all. My wife and I are planning to close out our accounts and move over to Innovation Federal Credit Union. This was the last straw with this app and I have been with them since 1989.

Frustrated

The new TFCU banking site is like most reviews I read, not working properly. It knocks you off when you try to do functions, gives error message when your trying to do functions even when you are in site. It is not iPad friendly, list goes on. I agree with all, this new app is not as good as the old one. I don’t see how it can be more secure when you are knocked out and your info is “floating around in the clouds”!!

Horrible App

Tho is the most unfriendly App out there. Buggy at best. I’ve been with this app for over 35 years and service has always been great. Tyndall is making me transfer my accounts and business to Navy Federal (their App is fantastic) this app needs to bring back the previous App and get rid of this garbage.

Why?

Unless there was some security or other flaw that was never mentioned, the old app was great. I had to sit on the phone to talk to a representative because I was not able to open my “new and improved” online account. Now that I can open it, I am having trouble following along with my purchases because nothing is chronological and the charges don’t match up with the decreasing account balances. Example...$1000 minus a $20 charge does not equal $700. I guess I just have to hope it all matches up in the end?

Hate it

I can’t believe this app upgraded it’s app to this mess! I’m already locked out of my account for trying to set it up. Why would you go from a screen interface that’s easy to read and use to one you have to squint to read?!I feel badly for people with impaired vision and large fingers because this new update is certainly not user-friendly. The keyboard on my iPad to login is not ridiculously small with the new upgrade. I only reloaded Tyndall to make my comment but I most certainly will not be using it. I don’t need this type of headache when it comes to monitoring my money. Bad move on your part this app.

Worst Change Ever!

This new app for online Banking is the worst design and execution of a new app ever. I Can’t get logged in or access any information. The steps for accessing do not work and I can’t get on even after multiple attempts over several days. We have been TFCU Members for over 25 years and for the first time are now considering transferring all off our funds to another Credit Union as we cannot access any of our this app accounts or banking services.
Apparently the new app and steps for changing over were not tested properly before the launch date and I have lost confidence in the Board Members who have allowed such incompetence and oversight to occur.

Upset 30 Year Member!!!

I completely agree with other user reviews! Tyndall is a complete downgrade from the previous one. It’s far more complicated to navigate through. All this app had to do was update the picture on the home screen of the old app because that’s the only feature on the new app worth looking at! I had my account linked to several online cash transfers. Now the other apps are asking me to login my bank sign in again which keeps failing to connect. It’s seems like a disconnect between this app’s app and other apps I’ve been using. Your members don’t seem to be pleased this app! Fix it ASAP or it’s getting deleted. I’ll go back to the “hassle” of using my web browser when needing to utilize online banking functions.

Terrible app

Tyndall is a replacement for an app that was working just fine. The new app is terrible. Everything the previous reviewer said is correct. Tyndall is so unstable it will lock up and the only way to get it working again is to delete it and reload from Tyndall Store again. The latest issue after entering login name and password a screen comes up that says account must be verified so enter login information again and choose phone call or text when prompted to verify. When you login again you get the same message to login again and choose phone call or text to verify. That’s a loop you can’t get out of. As a side note the new PC app is also crap.

I have been a this app member since I moved to the area in 2010. If the apps are not improved where they become as good as the old apps, I’ll be moving my accounts.

New and the opposite of improved

What a complete waste of time, effort, and money. So the powers-that-be at this app decided to force all users to switch over from an app that was simple, intuitive, functional, and efficient in favor of a new version that doesn’t remember usernames (so fun typing it out every single time), is horribly laid out, actually makes you insert the decimal manually when making transfers instead of functioning like every single ATM in the country since the 80’s (and the old app, I might add) where you just enter digits... the list goes on... this is what I went through the fiasco to transition to? Seriously?
Oh, best part... not even a week in - already an update with bug-fixes.
Stop replacing old stuff that works with new crap that doesn’t. You have just embodied everything that is wrong with modern culture.
But then, it IS a federal credit union... so what more should I really expect?

Boooish

Blanket forcing people into a new UI is a way to lose customers at least roll out a preview before to get user feedback a not use in-house people to determine what the general public liked.

So many things missing from the old ui but it is what is now.

Update: Uninstalled and reinstalled working now 😀

Harder to Navigate

Many glitches. Half the user interface didn’t show on screen until the third time I launch Tyndall . So far Tyndall change seems to be a solution in search of a problem. Perhaps there really are underlying reasons to require this change, but from reading the reviews, which note genuine issues (not just people who don’t like change) this has not been rolled out well. I sincerely hope the comments of the users will be taken as constructive feedback and used to improve future versions as soon as possible. Respectfully submitted.
