As a parent I sign up Saturday, August 28th for the family account and send an invite where my child can join me. My child is only 13 years old and when we tried to create her account we run into issues shortly after opting to not login via fingerprint.
It said We are now stuck on a screen that said some of information doesn’t match their records. What record is that? Then they said they might ask my 13 year old for drivers license, tax return, utility bill, lease agreement or paystub. This is not kids friendly.
It should be easy to join in matter of minutes and what kind of app is this asking kids for these proof of identity that should only be asked of an adult. We had been trying to have this resolve for almost a week now with no solution and it takes forever to receive an email response and there’s no phone number to contact anyone.
This problem should be and easy fix and they can’t do it. It’s scary to be banking with an insinuation that doesn’t have a number and no way to get a hold of them. Is this a scam? Now they have all of personal info and my child doesn’t have an account. Please stay away there’s better Bank out there for children that is kids friendly. You have been warned!

We got started using this app and it took us not 1 nor 2, but 3 attempts to get money in to the account. After about a week, we got an email that my account had been shut down even though my son had only $20 in the account. I’m the email, they did not give any reasoning to this and we are still awaiting our payment back. I do not recommend Till to anybody for it looked like a useful tool but ended up just being a disappointment.

Set this up for my kids when we go on vacation. Our first vacation is almost over and my kids still haven’t been able to use their virtual cards yet. The money came out of my bank account right away, but still isn’t available to put in my kids accounts yet. Green light is instant, no waiting.

I opened my account and it takes like 8-10 days for your money to be posted. Till is very tricky to maneuver and if you make a mistake you cannot cancel anything. Everything is done through emails and they take forever to respond. They currently have $2700 of my money and have not given it back. You have been warned!!

I was told the only option for transfers in is a 3-5 day wait. We used another teen bank previously and they had an option after using them for awhile for instant transfers. this app not having that option really stinks. Throw in weekends and a holiday here and there and you potentially don’t get money to your kid by the time they need it. Which is what happened when vacationing this summer.

Another thing is my daughter’s card got hacked. I clicked the option to turn off (or lock) the card, but transactions kept happening. What is that about?

Also customer service is minimal. If you want to add a kid or close your account, they insist you use a separate chat option that’s only available Wednesdays from 3-5pm. I’m working 9-5. How is that going to work? And it’s not even every Wednesday - I’ve seen twice where they state the above and then say “except this Wednesday. This Wednesday we’re not available” (or something to that effect).
I know you’re new, but guys.. you need to step your customer service hours game up.

This bank so far has been super easy to navigate for my kids. My transfers in, as well as their bank cards, all work without a hitch. Definitely recommend.

My nephew has been doing work outside all summer for his grandparents to earn money. The 3-5 day wait for the funds to be available to him is driving him batty. Also he has a birthday coming up and we don’t see a way to easily gift him money without going through the family owner. He asks us “how do I get the cash onto the card without having to wait so long?” I don’t have an answer for him :-/ We’re not sure if perhaps we just don’t understand how to properly use Till ?

We’re rooting for you though this app…his motivation to manage his money is CLEAR and refreshing!

I love Till but when I tried to add money to my kids cards, it wouldn’t accept my card. I also can’t set goals for them. The card is real, my kid was able to add a payment method with the card, but because of this issue I can’t give her money for her doing chores.

I love the concept and just getting started using it. But one thing I noticed is that the tasks are set up as daily’s. Am I missing something or is that the only way to do it. There are many of my kids tasks that are weekly, bi-weekly and other schedules. Daily is just too much for some tasks-is there a way around this?

this app. It is a good app I love it but it takes a long time to transfer money that is the only thing if they would hurry up this process it would definitely be a 5/5 but until they can do something about that I will make it a 4/5. Thanks this app

It’s very good, no complaints other than that when my kids reach a save goal, they can’t use that money to actually buy it. It just doesn’t let them buy the actual thing, it just keeps the money in the goal and we can’t do anything about it. Please add a feature where my kids can delete the goal and pick a balance to transfer all the money in the goal to, or for them to pick what balance they can put their money in. Other then that, it’s pretty good!

Love Till, more importantly, my kids love it! Simple, clear interface that allows them to manage their goals and savings and learn how to spend money right, not just how to save it. Best of all, no more searching for random dollar bills for allowance and when the kids start begging us to buy something for them, we remind them about their this app cards and they get to decide if it is worth it (vs before we would always pay for it and say we would take it out of the or allowance later, but who keeps track of that?!?!). I appreciate that Till is free and connects easily to our bank for managing auto-payments and transfers. For those mentioning the SS#, since this is a bank account for my kids I’m glad they are verifying people’s identities to prevent fraud, pretty standard for a debit card! Highly recommend!

I have no problem with. It helps me get motivated to do things to earn money but it takes forever for the money to get through so I can use the money I earned any reasons why?

I’ve been looking for a simple way to get my kids to understand the value of a dollar without me having to teach a full course.
Till lets them figure it out on their own while I can supervise.

The ACH takes too long to transfer from Wells Fargo. It says 3-5 days. Definitely 5 days. Other apps and services I use ACH take to 1-2 days the most to transfer funds. I contacted support twice and they told me to transfer more money at a time or create a low balance auto replenish threshold. Not really a solution for me. Please work on faster ACH.

I was pretty excited to try Till out until it asked for my social security #. Identity theft is something that concerns me and even though you state your site is secure I’m still not comfortable with giving that information.

I was really excited to try Till to track the payment of chores for my kids, but it required my social security number to verify my identity during setup and I’m not okay with that.
