Session – Activity Timer Reviews

This is the closest app to exist that allows somebody to create activities and monitor time spent on a task by labeling them to manage time spent on things WITHOUT pre planning a goal in mind. I wish Session had a few more features like:
Tracking your activity time in different intervals like day, week, month, year. Unfortunately there is only an “all” setting as default so you will only be able to see your total time spent on a task. I love love love Session. Besides that some other more minor issues are: clicking the native looking iOS buttons result in slow response for some reason its a tad delayed which makes Session feel a little sluggish or behave like a dated app. Another very minor gripe is when adding an emoji to a activity there is no search feature, I find that I just won’t use the feature all together because you have to look through all emojis to find the specific one you want to use. I really hope the developer sees this because Session is actually really cool and totally inspired me to create something of my own! It’s a great app it’s just missing a few features for what I want it for.

Love how I can keep track on my to-do list. Helps me a lot to see how much I’m wasting and also a can keep the timer running on the background while needing to use other apps on my phone☺️🙃

I love Session and the design so much! The interface is so intuitive and the color scheme is very nice.
One concern though is how it tracks time. I’m not sure if I’m using Session incorrectly or whatnot. However, sometimes when I start a timer and exit Session , the timer is inconsistent with the actual time. Today it was off by a couple of hours. I’m not sure if it’s because I turned my phone off or went to other apps. Please let me know if this should be fixed on my end. Thank you!

I love Session. I use it frequently to time my study sessions. It’s very minimalistic and the motivational quotes are nice.

The only thing holding me back from giving the 1 missing star is that you can’t share data with Session on the iPad. If there was a way to have an account that synced all of the sessions you have in other devices that would be great.

All in all, I love Session and I still recommend it to others.

I love that it is easy to use and that you can have different views. It is so minimalist and I’m loving it. Session does crash on me sometimes, especially if I’m trying to update an activity. I wanted to change the color on one of them and it has crashed three times. Otherwise it is a great app!

This was starting to become one of my favorite apps but now I’m not able to log multiple sessions under each activity.

The option to “start timer” or “add manually” went away after I assigned a color and icon.

I was drawn to Session by its minimalistic yet customizable design, but now I’m gonna start looking around for another timer tracking app.

This is THE BEST APP EVER!! So happy I found it!! Please please I have a suggestion... add the option to include sounds with the timers (ticking timer, fireplace, rain, jazz music, nature sounds) I think this would help me so much! I have ADHD and your app with ticking sounds would be great

Just wrote a review and I love Session so much I’d write another one to offer my suggestions... it’s be great to see some statistics around time spent in a day/week/month/year around tasks and a breakdown of total time spent across activities in a day/week/month/year.

It makes you more productive, and it makes you more organized with time. I wanna keep this short but yeah, you should really get it!!!

It’s a great and very aesthetically pleasing app, but the timer keeps stopping without me manually pressing stop. I might start a timer and then when I come back, the timer is gone and no time is logged in the activity.

I use Session daily and it helps me stay on track of my activities and how long I spend on certain tasks (great motivator). However, every time I try to add a this app manually Session crashes for me. Please fix!

Session is really pretty and you don’t spend a lot on Tim on it even it it is working. You can even try timing yourself! It is the best!

This isn’t a bad app. It’s increasing my desire to WANT to be productive. I like it a lot BUT:
1. If i attempt to make any edits, it crashes
2: A pomodoro timer vibe would be a great feature as well.
3. An option to set your recently used emojis would be great too.

I love the clean and chic look of Session. It’s a easy to navigate and use and keeps me on track with everything I have to do in the day.

I’m enjoying Session but wish there was an option to see time spend on activity a day not just total time

Session is really cool and does what is says it does well! design looks great. i like the big buttons. i like the vibe. i look forward to any updates with Session.

Session is amazing for time management. It helps keep track of the amount of time you take on something. Knowing how much time you take on something can help you improve every day. Love and recommend!

I love Session and it’s so simple to use. The only thing I would add to Session is being able to delete them or edit the titles and descriptions of the sessions, but overall I would really recommend Session for people who likes to track their time

I agree with another reviewer. I would really like to edit and/or delete sessions and activities. If I could do this, I would be happy to give you a top rating.
