Fisker app is a waste

Fisker has continued to fail tremendously on communication & Delivery, and MyFisker does not have any value or functionality, it constantly pulls up the wrong information about the order my Ocean One. When that has run in the background for quiet some time and you return to it, it would not display anything all and MyFisker would hang making it useless. I am still waiting on the delivery of my Ocean One and I have not gotten any use for MyFisker other than looking a worthless marketing about Fisker.

App and website don't coordinate

I wanted to take a test drive. The sales guy at The Grove/LA said download MyFisker . There is no way to schedule it on MyFisker and it says go to the website. So once you find the test drive section on the website it says do it on MyFisker . So I called customer service, after 25 minutes on hold I have up.
We're getting a BMW instead. If I'm having this much trouble just scheduling a test drive, I can't imagine how terrific after sales service is going to be. No wonder theirstock has plummeted to $1.00.

App as key doesn’t work

Not only is there no proximity locking/unlocking, MyFisker is glitchy about locking and unlocking the Ocean manually. Instead, I have to carry the key fob around, and it doesn’t work that well either. Plus, at night, you can’t feel on the fob where lock and unlock buttons are, so you have to shine your iPhone flashlight on the fob to get the function right. Just poorly thought out. Lastly, app shows percent charged, but doesn’t show rate of charging, when charging will be complete, or convert state of charge to miles of range available. Very pre-production for a $74,000 vehicle. Very unhappy with it.

Great UI, Horrible UX

MyFisker looks great, quite sleek and exciting to look at…when it works. I truly hope Fisker can fix this before deliveries begin. The UX is just bad. Even with the newest update, MyFisker logged me in the first time after deleted and redownloading it. But a few hours later when I went to show my cousins my ocean extreme preorder and everything had disappeared and I was unable to log back in. To this day (1 whole week later) I’m still logged out. I redownloaded MyFisker several times and nothing works. When I try recovering my password, it ask for my email/phone and here we are over a week, no email/text instructions for recovery. Fisker’s app has been a joke from the beginning and it’s still a joke. All looks no function like a prototype. Hope they can fix this before “deliveries” begin this quarter

Great Automobile, Horrible App

MyFisker is really clunky, crashes frequently, and performs as if it were created in iOS 2.0.

As for the design and layout of MyFisker , I expected a lot more coming from a company that is so cutting edge. It is it user fully at all. It is confusing, counter intuitive, and just a really poor overall design. It was over 20 minutes before I realized that I could not configure two of the three models because they are not going into production until 2024. Whenever I clicked on configure, it would always default to the Ocean model with no explanation why. After I realized that the only model available was the ocean, figuring out how to configure different elements of the vehicle was frustrating and gives the user little to no instruction.

This isn’t my first time configuring a new vehicle online. I used GM’s vehicle configuration utility to build my 2019 corvette and breezed right through it. It was very user friendly, gave the user instruction along the way, as well as notifying the user when there was an error and explained why. Fisher’s app had none of these elements. Their website is equally as baffling. It’s really putting me off to purchasing one of these vehicles and if there is no dealership where I live, I will be forced to purchase an EV from another manufacturer. Horrible app. Don’t bother with it.

Car disappears, nothing but black empty screen

I don’t want to log in so I clicked the fine print which allows a potential buyers to bypass and configure, this is good. I can’t see the shape of the car, its too dark. I configure the car and want to view interior design. All i get is a horrible 360 view from the back seats. Worthless. I view the summary and notice it says options, and I don't have any. Id like to go and add some so I close out the summary window to iterate. Im directed to the entry menu with a picture of the vehicle, not the one i configured. Re clicking, configure does nothing for me except junk my previous configuration and show me a black screen with no car! Seriously? If this is any indication of how car manufacturing and designers are not software designers, this is it. I wouldn’t expect updates in a moving vehicle to be any more sophisticated. I was intrigued, now i’m moving on.

Horrible app

Utterly baffling, counterintuitive user interface, almost non-existent functionality, frequent crashes. Truly makes one question the idea of purchasing what is supposedly a state-of-the-art vehicle from a company that can’t even get its app - or website, for that matter - to work. Particularly notable in view of the media reports about serious software issues with the cars themselves. Seems to be about what one would expect, given this miserable app experience.

Disappointed

Trying to place my order, however the “order” will not populate the trim and reserved build I did. It will only give the option for the Extreme trim level. If this process is convoluted, it gives me pause on the entire vehicle purchase process, especially since it’s being done on faith having not been able to see or test drive one.

LOVE the car NOT the app

MyFisker is such a basic bare bone app i literally never use it because it adds nothing to the ownership experience. It doesn’t control anything in the car but the locks, California mode, and the trunk. and it takes way too long to connect to the car to perform any of these functions if it connects at all. the customer support chat is terrible. There needs to be a way to talk to someone to address concerns. I want an app that would control features of my car remotely like turning on the heated seats and steering wheel before I have to go out to the car to drive. Also my phone with MyFisker should be able to function as a key for the car so I don’t necessarily have to bring the key fob with me every time I drive it. The car knows my phone is connected so then I wouldn’t get the annoying messages stating no key is detected when the key is in the cup holder of the car. I LOVE THE CAR AND THE COMPANY AND REALLY WANT IT TO SUCCEED BUT YOUVE GOT TO GET SOME OF THIS STUFF RIGHT. I have several other suggestions that would have huge impact on customer experience just not sure where to go to give feedback.

Name in AppStore to phone doesn’t match

When a product is crafted and executed impeccably, it shows in the minor details. The name of your app in MyFisker Store says: My Fisker, where as the name on the phone shows as Fisker.

Besides MyFisker stability, respecting the longevity of user’s logged in session, features, reliable connectivity to the car are all sub optimal and have no use to a common user as the physical key does all of it and rest are just a call/email away. Though all the modes of communication are super slow.

Hope to see a much more responsive, highly connected (to the car), feature rich that makes the user life more pleasant.

Buggy, even after numerous updates

I have an Ocean Extreme reserved and check MyFisker regularly to see updates on my reservation.

Most of the time, when I launch MyFisker I have a black main screen. I must navigate to something else and then go to the home area to see my reservation details.

Also, the status of my order for a vehicle is unclear. Fisker, get your act together! Make MyFisker work well and change the notification verbiage to clearly state that my delivery date has not been set yet.

Crashes instantly

App crashes on open. Must delete and reinstall to use virtually each time. Build does not detail your options and navigation is horrible. Overlapping text and pictures and inability to return to previous screen. Missing x to close out drill down. Less information and functionality.

Request for Fisker owners

As an Ocean owner, it would be very helpful if MyFisker offered biometric login.
It gets quite annoying if I’m in a public place, and want to take a quick check of my car, only to see that MyFisker has logged me out, and now I have to enter my email and password in a public setting.
Biometric is safer, quicker, and I don’t have to worry that someone is looking over my shoulder, or a security camera is recording my login information.

Useless app so far

Not sure how MyFisker is helping those of us who went on a limb to be first in line. So far, very unimpressed with the build out of the company’s front end ( customer service , customer experience)
Bring back old school customer interaction, especially in the beginning when you want us happy I want to write a great review !!!

They keep bringing out updates, so I’ll give them credit for that but none of their updates seem to be able to fix the widespread issues around account information like reservation and your Fisker details. Also, their customer service communication regards to the issue is negligible. Multiple contacts and zero response. I really hope they are able to get it together. Or just acknowledge a communication regarding the issue.

App Reaponse and Functionality

Fisker App on iPhone is closing abruptly, whenever I try to open MyFisker it closes automatically and not letting me in. This problem started yesterday, I had un-installed and re-installed MyFisker , still same problem continues.

My car sequence /order should be displayed in app
Inbox/Customer support communication should be integrated with in app
ETA and push notifications should be enabled to receive what's latest on Fisker

Great app but could use TouchID/FaceID login

Great app. For those of us that use it frequently awaiting our car, entering user name and complex password becomes cumbersome. Would like to see Fisker reach out to Apple for assistance on adding FaceID/TouchID log in option.

With help from Apple this could even be added to the cars in some fashion as an option for additional security and technological advancement.

Good App but needs some work

Good App. Have noticed that MyFisker gives inaccurate reading of SoC (i.e at 80% SOC shows range of 200 miles). This is inaccurate. Would be great to have a Sentry Mode (that enables owners to monitor the surroundings of the vehicle with onboard cameras; Tesla does it why not Fisker). Also, please enable FaceID. Keeps needing to input my login credentials. Looking forward to new features in the future.

Reduce latency

MyFisker is great but it needs some work and refinement. Looks like a startup company app. Right now it’s super not smooth. When configuring, there should be a back button because I keep clicking the cancel icon and it makes me not want to go back and reconfigure

Version 3.6 Improvement

I've been a Fisker ocean one owner in the US since Aug 3, 2023. MyFisker UI/UX has improved greatly over previous versions. I now get an estimated mileage range) and improvements on unlock/lock functions. As they progress in their development, I'm confident Fisker can deliver proximity lock/unlock functionality via the phone. I can't wait to be rid of a key. Great work DEV team and looking forward to all the future improvements in store. Here's my Xmas wishlist:

-Rate of charge
-Adjusting SOC
-Remote key to allow other drivers access
-Solar production stats
-Climate control on-demand
-trunk and charging port control
-Valet / speed limit mode
-Alarm and other notifications

Great App fir an Exciting New SUV

App was simple to use and provides updates regarding the Ocean and a simple, elegant interface for reserving the vehicle. One-stop shop for news about the car. I assume it will be updated with options for customizing the vehicle and being notified when it’s ready fir delivery in the future.

Fisker app has tons of informative uses. I love the new Fisker Feed with social media like aspects it’s exciting to see the behind the scenes activities. The average person like me has no idea what goes on behind closed doors and following this from the start to a finished product will be very interesting! I look forward to new upcoming post.
