I have persevered and thought my way through so many of these trials! I keep trying all kinds of things and until now—that’s worked! =) As it is, I’d give the game 3.5 stars. Art and idea are fantastic, literally. It’s refreshing. Controls are okay, sometimes on a phone, it’s a bit fiddly, but manageable. Sometimes though, the goal is unclear (eg, where I am now w the hand-eye tree), *and* there’s another unclear, indiscernable challenge. I can’t jump that far, let me try this; I can’t jump that high, let me do that; and either nothing works or nothing elicits information about what *will* work. Restarting at the checkpoint doesn’t actually reset either, which can frustrating. I like thinking, taking time to work through puzzles, but *some* sort of nudging pseudo hint system would be great. I presume the developers want people to explore, enjoy and *play* the game, not to weed out people who need 5 minutes to think through something and those who will spend a day.

This indie game is a good game. The complexity is not too high but still there’re a couple that make you go crazy. I love this game and would recommend and puzzle lover to take a try. However, this game CRASHES often. I don’t know if they’ll fix it later but here’re the ones: (1) when you are by the river and bridge, if you try many times, then suddenly the character disappears in the background; (2) there’s one level where you need to move two stone cubes to get over, sometimes there’s a transparent ‘wall’ between the two cubes and the character cannot go through; (3) at the second to the last level, the screen goes black if I restart the checkpoint, while restart the chapter/level won’t.

This game is positively abysmal... At first it looks really cool, and seems really fun, but the second they trick you into buying it, it becomes unbelievably irritating.
They almost really had something here, because the visuals and atmosphere are awesome. This game, however, is way less clever than it intends to be. The puzzles are not particularly fun, or challenging. Most of them are just flat out annoying, or tedious, or both. The control scheme is also positively horrendous, and makes execution of certain tasks take about about a billion tries.
I wanted to stop playing and delete it so many times, but because I got duped into paying money for it, I suffered through.
This game is perfect if you love trial and error, complete absence of explanation, and having to just stumble your way though things.
I can’t remember the last time I wanted a game to just “be over already” so badly.
And on the subject of endings, it doesn’t even have one. You simply jump onto yet another platform, and boom, roll credits...
As if to say; “Wasting your money wasn’t enough. We thought it would be fun to waste your time too.”

i don’t normally leave reviews but this game... *chefs kiss* okay so with the second spider, u go speedy into the tunnel then WALK super slow so the spider doesn’t hear u then pull the lever - also HOW DO I GET PAST THE SPIDER AND RAT TOGETHER

UPDATE: I GOT THROUGH u just gotta trick the spider so it grabs the air then RUN and go through the wall thing that closes then the rat can’t get you
i’m currently in the space things where u have to match the asteroids!! i’m on the third one and i’m pretty stuck:(

UPDATE: I GOT UNSTUCK like literally right after i commented that lol i’m in the next chapter floating in space now :)

UPDATE: i got through the black hole thing, if anyone’s stuck, u just gotta find the right holes to go through;)

So some of games take a little bit to get past but the 2nd spider that people have trouble with you have to jump on the red platform and then jump down and go as fast as you can, then walk through the green tunnel not run or the spider will hear you then run as soon as you get out and push the lever and jump out the wall. I’m stuck on the one right past that at the rat trap but this is a fun game. DMT visuals 👁👅

This game rocks. If you’re stuck just take a break and go slow. Or as fast as you can.
Pay very close to the obstructions. They are all you need to get through.

What a beautiful masterpiece!

The game was amazing and the puzzles were fantastic. Me and my brothers had a blast with it. Not to mention the surrealist art style was right up my alley as one of my favorite genres. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the different elements as well as the time and effort put into making this game! I do wish the story was a bit more expansive and detailed because I found myself confused on the timeline and reasoning behind some of the scenes but I would gladly pay for it again.

I loved this game so much! My only complaint is that I finished it so fast! I expected it to be a game that would never run out of levels, or it at least last a month or two, but I finished this in two days!! I loved every second of it, and highly recommend Medulla. Props to the visual artists!

Great game so far but stuck at the second spider it’s getting frustrating I like when games are hard but when they are too hard it drives me nuts!!!

I love this game so far it’s very strange the kind of thing I’m into wish there was a book that had this same energy that I knew of

The whole game has amazing art and is so creative but I cannot get passed the second spider. I’ve had two other people try and we’re all stuck and it’s been a week. Send help! Lol

The art and weirdness of this game makes it really fun to play, i finished the whole game already and i'm hoping the developer makes more chapters!

Great game! Very reminiscent of games like “Inside” and “Limbo”

The visuals were fantastic, the puzzles were entertaining. Definitely worth every penny.

I really like the art but I wish that the challenges were easier. I can’t get past the rat part. Ive asked my brother to try it as well but he can’t either. I’ve been trying for hours now. It doesn’t help that there aren't any walkthroughs or tutorials.

Don’t like the fact there aren’t any walkthroughs unfortunately. It makes the game unplayable when you get stuck on a level. Release a walkthrough

This is a beautiful surreal game but from the free part I thought this would be a fun chill game to play before bed. Nope, after you pay it’s all about running away or outsmarting things that are chasing you.... not great before.

Love it. Two thumbs up.

Wonderful game. All the puzzles are super trippy and entertaining. With a spectacular psychedelic art style to tie it all together.

The part with the floating rocks is ridiculous. You gotta make it more doable. I deleted the game.
