If you know how to research workout programs, you’ll quickly come to the conclusion that I did: Caliber is a scam.
The big problem is that you are not allowed to consult with one of their so-called “coaches” without first plunking down $600 for a three-month commitment. This is not okay because any fitness expert worth their salt will tell you that you shouldn’t hire any trainer who does not first give you a no-risk consult and trial session to see if a fit exists for you. It also means that you can’t verify the “coaches” are actual certified trainers and have legit nutrition credentials so they can assist you with your intake, because you can’t out-train a bad diet.
Their so-called science-based approach is therefore worthless because you are not allowed to do your homework before committing. If you’re a self-starter who doesn’t need a coach, this app is an option; but everyone else is better off hiring an in-person CPT in a private studio to get the kinds of results you deserve.
