Terrific Apple Watch features. Easily the best I’ve used. However the way the workouts are put together are nonsensical and there’s no discernible profession model. The manual option (using favorited exercises) helps overcome this to a point but those who don’t want to follow the “program” (which I use extremely useless because there really is no program) still have to pay $13 a month. Splitting it into manual mode and program mode users would be a potentially more reasonable way to go in the future.
On a second note the customer service I’ve experienced has been extremely rude in many cases. Suggesting a feature or idea is met with ridicule and curt objection as to why you are wrong for even suggestion the app isn’t perfect. I highly recommend not reaching out to support and just try figuring things out for yourself. App could be great but developers seems more interested being “right” then getting it right.

The programming is okay. If you have any CF experience, I’d suggest listing yourself as an experienced athlete and then scaling down if necessary. Quite honestly though, FITBOD does the same thing, probably a little better, at half the price. FITBOD has a wider variety of home equipment to choose from, the programming adapts (harder/easier) with honest inputs from the user, you can choose from a variety of goals (CF, strength, Olympic only lifting, powerlifting and more), and you’re able to cross train any of those goals into one seamless workout session of a length of your choosing. Warm-ups and cool down movements(static or dynamic-you choose) can be programmed in also. FITBOD does cardio only if you’d like, and if you miss a workout, it’s easy to go back into FITBOD and add it later (like if you didn’t have time for a full training session, but ran outside or did any other cardio).
Best,

4 stars - app is solid and workouts are solid. I’m a former cross-fitter and need to be able to do these workouts on my own in different locations and with different equipment (I travel for work and can’t always find a box). I don’t feel the pressure that I sometimes felt at the boxes I would go to and I can fully control my weight and limit my injury risk. I love how the app tracks all of my reps - no more whiteboards or chalk to track reps and sets. The videos are great and am glad there is the option to download them. The other huge benefit is that the workouts are tracked to ME and what I have done and my past workouts. Going to an actual Crossfit box, I could miss a day mid week and then miss legs or some other key workout. With keelo, it follows my schedule and If I switch my workout days, I never miss anything. Keelo team - thank you! If you’re reading for improvements, a few ideas to get this app from very good to great: 1. Have the ability to save filter ‘groups’ with names for equipment and movements to eliminate. For example, my “on the road” set of filters or my “home” set - I travel for work and would like to switch all the filters from one group to another without going in one by one. To change what equipment I may or may not have for a given week/workouts. 2. Have the countdown warning beeps on all exercises to give indication of remaining time (or make the setting configurable. Overall, well worth the money!
