My panels arent working. There is a green light on the Solar Edge Panel. I can't open it. Is there anything you can do?
On my APS October Electric bill it reports less than expected Solar Credits. I looked on my dashboard here on Solar Edge and it reports no production of solar power being recorded !!! ??? I looked at my solar exterior box and the green light is on and there is some reporting of energy production but I do not know at what volume that is. I need someone at your end to check the inverter and tell me if I am producing solar power with my unit, and if it is being recorded at your end and sent to the Electric Co. ? I had an inverter fail at around 3 years in 2021, and it is now almost 4.5 yrs. since that and I worry that these inverters don't last that long ? Can someone please get back to me about the status of my solar productivity for October and November 2025 and if the inverter is working ? If it is not working can you send me the new one and I don't know if I can find the original installer from July-2018, as I heard they are out of business. It was supposed to be a guaranteed 20 year system. Do I need to find someone to install a new inverter ????? Can you advise me about someone if that is needed? Please help me. INverter failed after 7 years, no solar production for 4 months ,still waiting on shipment of a replacement inverter. Will Solar Edge pay my electric bill for the last 4 months? Have a case number 6142009 along with a calendar that goes through 2035,- do you think they will ship the inverter before 2035? Stay away from any company that is not dependable. Somehow they think by giving me a case number my problem is solved..
The battery mode settings no longer allow me to charge / discharge the battery on Manual Mode. This has been occurring since 23rd September

My inverter was locked due to an event. We have had bad thunderstorms. Chat at Solaredge stated that they cannot unlock without someone onsite to trouble shoot. Problem is no one wants to come onsite to do this under their warranty. Inverter is less than a year old. I'm getting nowhere with Solaredge talking with a live person would be nice

I use an iPad and a desktop computer to monitor system performance. The displays in this app, with their huge amounts of wasted empty space, seem designed for an Apple Watch. There are multiple pages to switch between, and scroll to, and all of the information available on those pages could have been adequately displayed on, at most, a couple of pages.
The home display, for example, which probably resulted in high fives among the designers and developers when they were congratulating each other on how *pretty* it was, uses several million pixels, including a high-resolution picture of a bunch of framed solar panels, to convey five pieces of non-static information, which could easily fit on *one* line of text. The important information — current power, and daily energy — comprises maybe a dozen characters, which are swimming in a sea of useless white space.
Updating is flaky. There’s system information that is cryptic and unexplained. Navigation is somewhat confusing, with some pages that look too much like each other.
Somebody in charge should read Edward R. Tufte’s “The Visual Display of Quantitative Information”, and then find a couple of electrical engineers to help design the app’s displays. Stay away from people whose resumes start with credentials about “Web design” and “User experience.”

I have had nothing but trouble with this.. the first 2 months were great and after that my productivity has been cut in half and keeps getting less and less with no help from anyone.. you call and they don’t answer the phone.. then when they call you back they reset the system and I still get the same results!!! My productivity now is 1/4 what I was getting the first 2 months.. and in sept my system produced nothing! My app said it did but my electricity bill said I didn’t!! Think twice about getting this system and do your homework!! Solar edge. And Power home solar.. are the companies I used and between paying my monthly electric bill and my monthly payment for the panels I’m now paying about $200 More a month then I was before I had their system!!! So going green was a big mistake!!!! Hope this help others so you don’t get screw by these companies that basically lie to you about any savings!!!!

Why do developers have to change things just to have something to do? The original version was very straight forward and easy to use. Now they’ve made it “cutesy” and more difficult to quickly use. It also changes from landscape to portrait for at least one selection and doesn’t seem to go back to portrait unless the app is closed. The opening screen looks like it was designed for elementary school kids. And why try to stick everything on one page that can’t be really viewed unless the individual selection is expanded to full screen.
The revised app is awful on an iPad and nearly unusable on an iPhone.
Ditch this version and go back to what was neat, clean and just plain worked!
