1 year agoI have a Tapo C200 and I am very satisfied with this excellent product with one exception, when you edit the events and touch the delete button on the phone, it delets the whole of the history, I think a slight modification to the software would be to have a 'ARE YOU SURE' before you confirm that you want to delete the memory. Thanks

2 years agoMy C310 camera cannot be connected to the WIFI. During the course of trying to connect to the WiFi …..the response from the app connection process is….NO AVAILABLE 2.4GHz WIFI NETWORKS AROUND!!!!! My Broadband supplier is SKY and following an investigation it was found that my broadband service is working perfectly. Obviously if l can’t get a satisfactory response from TAPO the product will have to be returned. Please advise ASAP. Many thanks.

2 years agoi have already bought and installed c310 camera and was successful, i bought again c200 for my living room. my main concern is i can not add camera c200 to c310 tapo apps.

Unwanted feature in latest update
Since the latest update in Nov. 2020, keeping a camera stream on for 5 minutes shows a notification saying “You have viewed the live video for 5 minutes without any operation. Continue the viewing?” We used this as a baby monitor and now it’s useless since the stream cuts off after 5 minutes (requiring a click/touch). Why not include an option to disable this feature for those of us want to use our devices as a monitoring tool?

Lost stability after last update
The cameras were working stably until the last update a week ago, now they lost a lot of stabilization and the cameras barely connect online, It doesn't even point out in the top right that they are online in red letters like before.

Needs Improvements
I’m using this app for my Tapo IP camera and smart plugs. Clean UI and menus are easy to use but, seems to be reliable in general but the app needs major improvements. Leave aside Siri Shortcuts support for voice commands, app doesn’t even have a widget for simple ON/OFF toggling. Please bring more features.
