As if I don’t already have problems, I’m registered to be notified of a custody status for a reason. I feel like I gave this “system/database?” info I’d generally consider private and it failed me. I can see its intention here is to help, but it’s not doing that. It’s coercing victimized people into disclosing to them and rehashing details about their life that may potentially be traumatizing. Then, here’s what bothers me, I’ve gotten no help by said notifications of any kind from them... despite the person in question 1)not showing up for their court date, and 2) cutting off ankle monitor designed to protect me, in my case. Big fail here Vine. It sounds to me like soon enough they’ll be involved (maybe victims) of a typical data breach in which my info will likely be leaked. It just seems unstable of a network or something is off here. I’ve gotten much more help, as in notifications etc., via USPS from the courts.

Hello I just downloaded this app and it’s not working correctly! I selected my state and tried to look up a court case but was directed to an error page. It said the request was “badly formed” whatever that means. Also annoying, I couldn’t back out of the error page. I had to force close the app and reopen it. I have tried it several times, even deleting and re-downloading the app didn’t fix it. I would love to use this app if the creators can fix the errors.

I didn’t receive notifications at all when the person was released. This puts me in danger. I will not use this app again, it’s a false sense of security. I use the website for the actual facility the person is in instead, even though it’s not updated within the same day, it’s still better than not knowing at all. Expecting a notification & not receiving one until it’s too late is TERRIFYING. PLEASE FIX THIS APP!
