Tried using these scooters with a group of 7 people. 3 of us were able to download Newt but the other 4 were unable to sign in after creating 3 separate accounts. Which we weren’t even using the scooter for because half of us couldn’t use Newt to log it and get our own. The scooter broke after 4 minutes and continued to charge her $60!!!!

I had the most horrible experience riding these scooters. It took almost 30 minutes just to download Newt and create an account just to ride the scooters on international drive in Orlando. The scooters in Orlando are the worst I’ve ever used. Half of them don’t work and are in poor condition. They are the slowest scooters I’ve ever used. Honestly I think they slowed them down to increase profit. I paid almost $30 for one hour, and never got to go to my destination because it was “out... Show more of the area.” They don’t tell you about the restricted areas until you are done riding. I’d just stick to using Spin or Bird.

Newt is absolutely abysmal in comparison to other scooter providers. Not user friendly, poor customer support, lack of functionality. Use as a last option.

Scooters are great, but when you go to end a ride…good luck. Also, sometimes Newt doesn’t even show where the scooters are. Newt and tech needs a lot of work. But the scooters are a great way to get around.

Horrible app put my card information in made an account wouldn’t let me login i came with 4 people only two were able to ride horrible experience worst part of my time in Orlando this app need to fix the bugs in there app so it’ll actually work and run smoothly for everyone

I’ve ridden the scooters in Seattle and they went so fast, Newt worked perfect and all.
Unfortunately Newt and these scooters are awful. It takes like a half hour to download and get them to unlock, as well as ending the ride. It’s absolutely awful.

Only problem is we couldn’t figure out how to rent two scooters on one app, so added time to our ride trying to download Newt onto another phone so we could ride two scooters.

The best way to enjoy Orlando is on the back of one of these scooters! Super easy to use, safe and incredibly enjoyable! I take one of these baby’s out for a spin every time I need to be on the Florida sun! It’s way better than I could have expected. this app is the new and improved Lime!

First time easy to download easy to ride and I am 41 years young 🤩

Each of the Newts have their own personal names. They’re smooth n easy to ride. Don’t have to load $10 minimum just to ride like the others. Lovin the sleek black look too

I had walked for 15 minutes and decided to give the scooter a try for the first time and man I’m glad I did! Saved my tired feet😂

Super fun! Make sure you know where to leave your scooter - if the sliding toggle button to end ride doesn’t end it means you have not left it in an acceptable area -

Only let’s you drive in certain areas and doesn’t warn you that you’re leaving them. I had to drive it back several miles just to walk back to where I was. Do not use

Wouldn’t let me sign up I was waiting in the cold trying to sign up and it doesn’t work

It’s fun, sure, of course it is. However, to charge .29 cents a minute is ridiculous and it’s thievery. That’s about $18 for an hour, seriously? Used up my free 10 minute credits from a referral code and will not be using again.

Yes I totally recommend I had so much fun!!! And it’s pretty cheap! It’s so much fun to ride with family!!!

After downloading the app, creating an account and entering my credit card number, I scanned two — one each for my some son and me. However, it turned out that you can only rent one scooter per phone. So I had to download, c... Show more reate an account, and enter my credit card info for his phone as well. All this while paying for the first scooter by the minute. We did have fun riding them but I was unable to stop my clock from running when we were done. My son’s stopped just fine but mine kept charging me money by the minute and refusing to stop, despite being in the correct location. The app kept saying that I was in the wrong area and needed to return to the yellow area in the map (which I was in— right next to my son’s returned scooter). I spent another 15 minutes trying to find a way to return the damn scooter and was unable to do so. I tried to call the company but could not easily find a number. I eventually found the number and they were able to stop the clock and agreed to not charge me for the extra time it took to return it. But I felt the whole process wasted a lot of time and I certainly don’t want to experience this type of hassle again so will not be a repeat customer.
