While prior versions of BlueDuckScooter had issues, Blue Duck has finally released a version that functions at the highest levels of their industry. If you’re in the southern US, it’s definitely worth seeing if they are in your town. Also, if you’re active military, a student, or lower income I’ve read they will give you a somewhat material & permanent discount. It’s worth looking into if you fall into any of those categories.

After I ended the ride. It gave me an error message so I was not sure that the ride ended. It asked me to scan it again and I scanned it and it charge me $1.20 for another start up. I ended it right away but still charged. You need to fix this error. There needs to be a confirmation of the ride with a receipt when you hit end. Also, update BlueDuckScooter to show the time while ride is in use with the cost. The scooter itself was smooth and comfortable.

There are a lot of problems with BlueDuckScooter and how it must communicate with their scooters, they don’t always land when you tap the land button, they miscalculate with their gps and cause rate charges you didn’t deserve, BlueDuckScooter doesn’t always communicate to unlock the scooter even though it has already started the rental and charging you for the ride but the scooter has not unlocked for you to travel, the support option is useless and it overall is not a user friendly option compared to existing scooter services.

Tried the Blue Duck electric scooter at the beach in corpus christi, BlueDuckScooter worked perfectly fine for me. The bike is also good used one for like an hour app showed the battery percentage of the bike on my phone.
Many people are unable to find the name of BlueDuckScooter bez its only mentioned as fly duck on the bikes no where Blue Duck is mentioned.
Overall experience is very good.

Didn’t carry out with making account because the application did not accept Apple Pay.

Installed, had to create an annoying login with dumb password requirements (special characters), put in a $5 deposit and $5 more for my first ride. Had to type in my card # instead of being able to use Apple Pay (or credit card scanning features common in other apps). Tried to unlock the scooter and BlueDuckScooter just spun there not progressing.

Gave up, walked to a nearby Lime scooter and was rolling less than a minute later.

I’m never gonna get that $10 back, either. Sheesh.

I’ve tested all the different scooters out there and this one is by far the best ride out there! It’s safe and smooth plus I never see them discarded in a pile like other scooters. It’s very refreshing to finally see a different kind of scooter operator!!

On the three occasions I’ve used BlueDuckScooter it hasn’t worked at all. It never tracks where you are moving on the gps. Sometimes it shows scooters on the map that aren’t even there and other times it doesn’t let you activate a scooter even if it’s right in front of you. I don’t wanna be rude to the developers but BlueDuckScooter is honestly trash at the moment.

Couldn’t even tell if the payment went through. After waiting 5 minutes for it to process it finally unlocked a scooter. Then when I tried to end a ride it errors out 5 TIMES!!! At that point, you are practically STEALING money from me. Never again. Good thing there are Lime scooters in Corpus as well.

BlueDuckScooter is user friendly and the scooters are unbelievably confident, easy to use, and fun! Great company, great scooters and the most fun I have had using a ride share!

Website says customer support available 24/7. Sent four emails over the course of a month trying to get a refund since scooters are unusable in my area and and still no response after two weeks of last email. Very shady company

App forces you to put down a five dollar deposit and then put money on the account, then doesn’t work. Could not unlock a scooter. No real time customer support available, and 24 hours so far without any kind of response to my email requesting a refund.

Lime scooter nearby fired up without a problem.

These scooters are the smoothes and fastest out of whole array thats available in town. 10/10 will only ride these guys

This is my second ride and I ended the ride, was 22 min and now I’m going thru BlueDuckScooter again and it’s still on, and I’m calling to the phone assistances and they’re not giving me answers or know how to fix my problem. Terrible costumer service and terrible app.

So I went to use one. Turned it off. A kid grabbed it after, me to take off. And just went off with it without using anything. Pretty sure I’m being charged for the use. Called customer service and nothing . Thanks for this Smfh
