qMenu - Food Ordering Reviews

Downloaded because it’s the only way to view the menu or place a to go order for a nearby restaurant. Now, the restaurant won’t even show up in app. I can’t search by name, I can only enter location. I typed in the city and later typed in the exact address but both times the restaurant didn’t show up. I can’t even scroll through the search results. I can see there are results but qMenu won’t let me, it just keeps snapping back to the top of the list. Also if I leave qMenu , not even close it but just leave, it reverts back to the home page and I have to enter everything all over agin. Overall terrible and couldn’t even successfully use it in the end.

this app does not provide robust delivery services and gives bogus information about the delivery. I eventually had my food 2.5 hours later and had to pick it up myself.

According to qMenu , order was confirmed at 5. Delivery person arrived at 5:30 to get the order. Order status changes to “delivering” at 6. Tracking link is broken. Still no delivery at 6:40 so I called the drivers number, which was disconnected.

Called this app support and they claimed they had no way to contact the driver, and needed me to lookup the restaurant phone number for them. They offered to either refund my order or have them remake it and I would have to pickup the food. I was able to drive and the restaurant graciously remade the order. Support said they would take off the driver tip and delivery fee, however they did not. So, 2.5 hours later I delivered my own food, some unknown delivery person got my original order of food and a tip, and this app gets an extra 10 of mine for being so horrible

I placed an order and put in my street address. It asked for my billing address and would not accept a Post Office box. I kept getting an error message that I needed to pick from the drop down box. The only address in the drop down box was in Thailand. I live in the US. I had to cancel
My order since I couldn’t pay for it. Until this is fixed qMenu is useless to me and many others.

Placed an order on the site. Paid their ridiculous $12 service fee, tipped another $12. Ended up spending $83 on Chinese food for my family to not have to go get it. It declined my card, but still charged me. I called their customer service, and their rude employee told me to “wait a few days for a refund”. I told him I couldn’t wait, that’s my family’s food money. He again rudely told me to wait a few days. I told him I needed my money back now. He said a manager would contact me, and hung up. I never heard from anyone. Doubt I’ll ever see my money back. Total scam.

this app gets the basic job done for ordering. However, we are inundated with emails end text messages — three emails and two texts for each order.

Please develop a setting for us to tell you whether we want to receive text messages or email and for which steps in the order process — acknowledgement, confirmed, completed.

Most of us just wanna confirmation that our order has been placed with the restaurant. A single text message would be adequate.

I find qMenu very simple to use- I don't have too many steps to go through in order to get my food ordered. Each restaurant appears to be in charge of providing menu details, which means some restaurants have better descriptions than others. That can cause some frustrations, but that's on the restaurant, not qMenu !

I originally rated qMenu one star and left a negative review about an issue I had. The support team reached out immediately and offered assistance. I changed my rating to 4 stars because the issue was with the restaurant and not qMenu. They were really helpful. I just wish more restaurants were available in my neighborhood.

Don’t download qMenu. Placed an order from it at a local restaurant, waited over an hour for my food. Couldn’t find any help in qMenu (also if you click support it literally goes to the website for purchasing qMenu for your business) so I called the restaurant directly. After an hour and 45 minutes the restaurant said they forgot to make the order and would make it right away.

Don’t use qMenu, get Uber eats. If you have an issue there is zero recourse and zero customer service.

I ordered from restaurant. I received a text with link to qMenu saying “more information.” So I click the link and download qMenu. It does not show me more information. Was hoping for the promised pickup time. So once qMenu was downloaded and started, I returned to the link and clicked once again. Again, it takes me to qMenu Store. I click open. Takes me to blank page on app. So I drive to restaurant. Food is not ready. This is not a good mode of communication during pandemic.

qMenu has allowed me to be able to order my favorite dishes from my favorite carry out. It's easy to use and allow different platforms to pay which is a huge plus to me. I would definitely recommend qMenu to others.

Was a little confused at first after ordering due to the fact my order was no immediately pulled up after clinking the link in the text that was sent to me. But after investigating I just logged in and it showed me my order after a short verification. Quick and easy!

This was the worst app ever. Didn’t even send to place my order. Had to pay and go through the whole hassle of that again. It was terrible. Had to call four times. Couldn’t even figure out what my order number was. Couldn’t figure out how my order was ordered. Couldn’t even figure out how to find my order. Received my order two hours late. Terrible app and it was not the restaurants fault at all it was definitely the apps.

Placed an order with a restaurant through qMenu and when I went to pick it up they had no record of the order. Thankfully I chose to pay at pickup rather than with my credit card, so I didn’t have to deal with chasing a random app developer for a refund or contesting the charge with my bank. The fact that the menu was different on qMenu was a good indicator that something was not right here. Don’t waste your time or money on qMenu.

Ordered, paid and never got the food. I called the restaurant and they informed us they don't do deliveries and don't work with this app. They also told us other people had the same experience we did. They did initiate a return after I complained. So now I can wait 5-10 business days for the money they never should have taken from me!

IT can sometimes be hard to hear on the phone when placing an order for takeout so being able to use and app and have your order just how u like it is perfect . It doesn’t charge u insane fees and delivery fees like uber eats or Grubhub!! Love this app menu

When editing cart, there’s no choice to return to menu to order more items - I only accidentally discovered that you click the restaurant name to return to the menu - make a dedicated button.

Where there are multiple menus, once you select one, there’s no option to see the other menus again, have to go back on browser.

Can’t search by restaurant name, just location and address. C’mon, what can be more basic.

Add Apple Pay.

I ordered from a local restaurant using qMenu not knowing that it was after their open hours, and it said my order was submitted. I found out the restaurant was closed so I figured I’ll get a refund or order cancellation. Two days later my card was charged. So I called up the restaurant, and they said that they don’t see my order in their record. They told me to contact this app so I sent them a email, which they never ever responded to.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD qMenu.

App is great, never had any technical issues, I just think they should be general coupon codes you can apply to the restaurants that you prefer, not only the specific restaurant

We love how easy it is to order from our favorite Chinese Restaurant. We've used qMenu many times and they always get our order just perfectly. Food is delivered quickly and is always fresh and hot.

Ordered from a restaurant on qMenu. After waiting an hour I called the restaurant to check on the order. They claimed to not have it and asked what app I ordered from. Then informed me that they stopped using qMenu months ago and have tried to be taken off multiple times but still get calls about the issue. Don’t trust you’ll get your food even when qMenu “confirms” your order.

Placed order after prompt to download app from carry out website - pizza place across street from hotel. No record of order being placed - pending charges were showing on my credit card, though. Items ordered (from this app site) are not on menu at carry out. Fortunately, carry out accommodated with substitute order. Will never use qMenu again. Even the carry out recommended GrubHub.

Cannot cancel order through qMenu or through the restaurant. Customer service does not answer and makes you leave a message.

Easy to order and good design.

I couldn’t put my billing address in and when I got to the store to pick up the food they hadn’t received the order
