Upon opening the app, a message is displayed in Korean stating that the app ‘failed to get version information from server. please contact the manager’. Actual lightstick works fine on the standard modes and is brand new. Concert is next week so hopefully there’s a fix before that :(

My daughters Candy Bong z doesn't even show up in her bluetooth setting on ios. She has an iphone 11, but we tried on a iphone se 2020 edition and iphone 6s as well as an iphone 8. None shows up at all. I can get it to show up in setting on my android phone, but the app crashes on my Samsung Android phone. I tried older versions of the app, and anything after version 2.0.X crashes when you tried to connect. The older version just don't seem to connect at all but at least they don't crash. This worked months ago on her phone, now it doesn't even show up. Paid a lot of money for this and it just randomly breaks from sitting on a shelf in a box. So disappointed in this product and this app.

When I click the Connect Bluetooth on the app, the app closes. I am using a Galaxy z Fold 3. Why does the CandyBongZ close when I want to connect to my phone?

How to fix CandyBongZ app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the CandyBongZ app on iPhone
Update CandyBongZ app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall CandyBongZ iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix CandyBongZ on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve CandyBongZ network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Fix CandyBongZ not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the CandyBongZ App
1. On android, goto Settings » CandyBongZ » click [Force Stop]

Update CandyBongZ to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear CandyBongZ App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » CandyBongZ » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart CandyBongZ.

Fix CandyBongZ unable to contact server/ CandyBongZ internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click CandyBongZ » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto CandyBongZ » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch CandyBongZ
