I which I could rate MyAirtelAfrica even lower than one star.

MyAirtelAfrica has so many bugs and user interface is too busy and distracting, the user experience is poor. I bought unlimited internet and MyAirtelAfrica doesn’t even show me when my data is going to expire or if I even have active plan. The payment notification says “Congratulations! You have purchase this bundle null successfully” what a heck! You took my money and can not even give me better description of what I paid for, how long it will last or when it’s going to expire as a message or has a notification in MyAirtelAfrica . AIRTEL THIS IS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

MyAirtelAfrica has always had challenges. If you don’t have any credit on your phone, it won’t open so you can buy a bundle. You have to use the keypad to purchase, and those purchases don’t show up in the transaction history, even though it’s for the registered number.

When I try to read the messages it sends, touching one marks it “read” but then immediately takes me back to the home screen, rather than allowing me to read the other messages. I have to go back in to the notification area again after marking each message as read. That’s annoying and a waste of time.

I keep getting messages saying I won a certain amount of free Airtel TV viewing, but MyAirtelAfrica gives me an error message every time I try to access it.

When it works, it has some nice features, but it’s very unreliable.

I wish to write this to an customer service but I'm posses off calling you guys I know your management will see this review Airtel mode of Extortion is too high imagine having to do a bundle of 6 days for 3 times in a week that's too much I am backing out of using this cursed thief network immediately now and I will make sure everyone around do so imagine loosing customers gradually I calculated my expenses on your Data roughly 50k since September last year that's too bad adjust so you won't loose out at the end

I have the Airtel Smartbox 4G and i have to confess bitterly that i am disappointed. Yes the can be good when the want to be but at times they can’t be terribly disappointing. Lately I noticed that I’ll have over 129g of data on my yet I can’t even be able to peruse the internet. It’s beyond disappointing. It’s happened twice and I have to say that I am not happy at all . To think that I spend over 40k monthly on Airtel subscription alone. I deserve better services for my money.

Your app is so wack. So if I use one number to register, I’m not allowed to use another number later. Logged out and tried to sign in/register with another number, it won’t let me type in the new number, only suggesting the old one. Had to delete MyAirtelAfrica and reinstall it, but still I can’t use a different number 👎🏽 I could have rated 0 if there’s a way I can.

I have several mobile money apps and all of them don’t require me to switch off my WiFi or must have sim card for the particular mobile provider in order to access MyAirtelAfrica apart from yours. It’s frustrating and I think you need to fix your app at least to be accessed without so many restrictions for many of who are constantly on WiFi or own one handset and sometimes we want to switch sim cards and still access all the money apps. You may be limiting so many clients from using your app.
For reason I will rate your app 3 stars .

The new update feels less cluttered now. Well done! I was wondering whether you could allow users to disable the authentication by data if they want. It always locks me out of MyAirtelAfrica as soon as my phone uses wifi and it's worse if my phone is doing something that uses a lot of data because it just uses my mobile data.

I think app is generally good buh would have been much better if one could receive sms through MyAirtelAfrica too. Personally my airtel sim is in my WiFi and I downloaded MyAirtelAfrica to for ease access of my data balances and sms. MyAirtelAfrica failed in the sms part!! Even ussd should have been made available in MyAirtelAfrica

I’ve been with airtel since it was celtel if you remember those days.

I like that they are constantly innovating and improving.

Value for money still needs work and quick communication from customer service.

Would have been a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if on the latest update they would have added NFS to other networks on MyAirtelAfrica . I find the USSD tedious. Also fully intergrate with Zesco so the name confirms before concluding transaction seeing that Zesco has no reversals.

App gets stuck at blank screen after payment and you get debited without getting the data you paid for, please fix. Second time in a row that it’s happened to me.

This makes everything simple for me . My favorite is the part where I don’t need to type a number when sending cash. All I need is to fetch it from my contacts

No problems occurring at all while purchasing or recharging your airtime and that’s really amazing compared to the rest of other networks carriers guess I am now loving and being a fan of airtel now lol😇😇🥰✌️

After updating to your app's new interface I was very impressed. MyAirtelAfrica is quite user friendly and intuitive. I just recharged my data via MyAirtelAfrica now and everything went seamlessly. I recommend it to everyone.

This is a very nice and convenient app to use instead of typing codes. Thanks for this innovative spirit, only that I wish we could be able to use it even with no data.

I’ve been using Airtel since I got my first phone and this is MyAirtelAfrica that I’ve been waiting for. I can do everything and anything I want on it, related to Airtel and airtime transactions. Keep updating MyAirtelAfrica !! There is much potential

Hi any time I try to subscribe from MyAirtelAfrica to the router plans monthly, I get a transaction error. Why is that? I was promised 6 months free extra data on my subscriptions in nigeria. I haven’t gotten any. It’s frustration. Kindly point me in the right direction.

Glad we can finally use MyAirtelAfrica in Tanzania FINALLY! Needed MyAirtelAfrica for years now!! Secondly i love how everything is setup on MyAirtelAfrica , really good stuff.. Thirdly can i recommend FaceId security on MyAirtelAfrica since all the private info (like AirtelMoney balance) on MyAirtelAfrica is left unprotected. Thanks for MyAirtelAfrica !!
