- The facelift is very refreshing
- I can now see holds on my accounts (regular accounts and my credit card)
- Touch ID for authentication is also a plus
- Overall it’s a good look

I have used ScotiaCaribbean successfully for a long time and in June of this year I was unable to access any recipients to whom I normally transfer funds - it says I have no recipients and when I try to add someone it doesn’t allow me to - I have called the Scotia online banking number on numerous occasions to be told it will be escalated and problem is still not resolved and I don’t even get a call or email back to help - very frustrating to say the least - I feel like just banking with another bank at this point…

Whenever ScotiaCaribbean prompts a user to update it, it provides a link which I would expect to bring me to ScotiaCaribbean within the Apple appstore. Nope. It instead sends the user to a random website. Additionally, if you locate ScotiaCaribbean manually in the AppStore it does not indicate it needs to update. It simply says ‘open’. You select open and it only go back to saying it needs to update and give you a bad link to select. You have to uninstall the entire app n re-install it for it to actually work.

I’ve been trying to update my employment info on ScotiaCaribbean and I’ve been getting an error from yesterday until now. Please fix this
I’m addition to this, something is wrong with the website. I’ve been trying to sign in and it’s saying that the info is incorrect when it isn’t. I’m frustrated!!!!
When I do get through it doesn’t take me pass the login page; I’m getting an error
Please fix the website. I’m tired of this

Been using ScotiaCaribbean since May 2020. Initially it worked great but since Dec 2020 it’s not been unstable. I’ve called the Scotia support line to report bug related issues a couple times but there’ve been no changes in over 5 weeks now. ScotiaCaribbean crashes each time I try to use it to pay a bill. Also I no longer receive notifications so things like verifying myself as the authentic user on my online account no longer works. You all also need to delete older apps which are no longer functional from the Apple store. It’s confusing to your customers. Today I tried deleting then Re downloading ScotiaCaribbean but there’s no guidance on which app has been discontinued. I was also able to download and have 2 different Scotia-Caribbean apps on my phone which shouldn’t be.
You have a great app but bug fixes like these are needed to ensure your customers can use your product seamlessly.

I have used ScotiaCaribbean for more than a year. For a quick check on your account balances it’s fine. My opinion NOT TO BE USED AS YOUR SOLE WAY OF MONITORING YOUR ACCOUNTS. ScotiaCaribbean freezes and sometimes delayed shown in interest calculation on credit accounts.
I find the online platform more reliable. I only use ScotiaCaribbean to monitor my alerts. This is my experience i don’t know if it’s the same for others.

The problem I have is that if I log onto my computer my computer since me to my phone to complete the verification process. And there is no bypassing this feature.
What if I do not always have my phone with me or I change my phone? How do I get around that? We need to be given another alternative is pretty much what I’m saying!!!!

When I try to get into ScotiaCaribbean , it says “App update required” when I click to update in ScotiaCaribbean Store there is no update and it just becomes a cycle of that over and over. When I was able to use ScotiaCaribbean it worked smoothly so I’m not sure what’s happening now.

I love the design and simplicity of ScotiaCaribbean , but why are you guys not allowing us to lock/freeze our cards and holding it exclusively to credit cards and not sharing that simple security feature with the Debit cards as well?

ScotiaCaribbean would have been 5 star if the update today fixed the Face ID log in.. oh and yes I did toggle the Face ID option on and off for ScotiaCaribbean but it still doesn’t work.. never has.. everything else is good.. try including a chat option that would be good too

I understand this is a new interface and everything that you’re working to deploy in phases but.... you need more validation checks. I would love to sign in with Face ID but what if mine isn’t working? I’m literally stuck because ScotiaCaribbean doesn’t allow me to use my phone’s passcode and I can’t do anything that needs 2FA unless I do it from my computer which also sends me back to my phone to verify my identity with Face ID, which again, for me, doesn’t work. You need to allow for the user to use another method of authentication: one that every iPhone has. Please implement passcode authentication. Every other app or password security allows this.

Overall it’s a great App. However, twice I was on the go and a notification came in that I need to update ScotiaCaribbean . Let’s just say my business was interrupted because I was unable to update immediately. There should be an option to update when possible not on demand to do so.

Clean and fast interface , just need more detail for deposits from other users/bank accounts and
Available balance should be displayed first in account view.

ScotiaCaribbean is great. As of late it only shows Current balance.
I would like it to show current and also available balance for the next update.

This new app is amazing. Way better than the previous version. Everything is so much easier, looks so much better, and so much easier to use.
The one thing I don’t like, is the fact that you have to go online to update your personal info. This should be accessible through ScotiaCaribbean .

I like the new design however I do have one issue, I'm no longer able to type in the amount I want to send to my phone. I gives me the option up to $50 which doesn't help because my plan is $55 🤦🏾♀️ Is this something that can be fixed?

ScotiaCaribbean has come a long way. I love using it and often use it over the website as it is very user friendly and responsive. One thing I am missing however is the ability to register my new cards from ScotiaCaribbean . I should not need to be calling customer service to activate a new card.

I actually enjoyed using this new app so far. i was able to login quickly and the layout is pretty simple and clean...the option to access via touch ID as to password was pretty intriguing, will update after a few weeks of monitoring to see if there are any issues. Definitely recommend the update !

I love everything about this happy. The only disappointment I have so far is that we aren’t able to make international transfers like our Canadian counterparts. We’re living in a modern era let’s get with the program.

ScotiaCaribbean is a great improvement on the previous one. However, the Touch ID access to open ScotiaCaribbean is not working. Hence, only 4* for the moment

Just got the email that a new app is available. Tried it. Didn’t go past the section to save my card. Instead of updating ScotiaCaribbean that’s already there they published a new one which will lead to confusion. The first app was a retarded version of the web platform.

At first I was excited to see this new app on ScotiaCaribbean Store because the old Scotiabank Caribbean App’s interface was only a web wrap of the Scotiabank online platform and the use experience was clunky at best.
BUT, each time I attempt logging into this new app I get a message stating that my account can’t be accessed right now, contact a customer service representative. When I called customer service with the issue I was told that ScotiaCaribbean hast officially launched. SO WHY IS IT HERE?!
I’m giving this 1 star for now. I may change my review once ScotiaCaribbean allows me to log in.
by Yen230
it won’t let me access my account, tells me i need to call to activate my account which makes no sense and they tell me that it’s weird because it’s supposedly working
by IslandDraft
As of today it will not accept my credentials for sign-in. And now the old app won’t work. I have apps for a few banks and all of them are a pleasure to use. ScotiaBank, as big as it is, just can’t seem to make a app work. Just disappointing.

I was waiting for ScotiaCaribbean for a long time. When Scotiabank finally announced its release I went to downslope ScotiaCaribbean just to discover it doesn’t work. I can’t access my account. I always get a technical difficulties message but looks like nobody at Scotia cares! The old app is terribly awful.

Love the new interface, ability to see all credit services, much easier navigation, and FASTER LOADING TIME!
by Lmoonsammy
This runs so much more smoothly and is very convenient to use.

Beautifully designed and executed. It’s about time...

The old app was just a web wrap and this new app is a pleasure to use. Kudos to the developers!

Finally a modern UI for a Trinidad Nanking application. Works smooth and would love for the developers to now work further and bring all the features of the online site to ScotiaCaribbean.
