Overdrop - Weather & Widgets Reviews

To start with there is only one positive, which is the design language of Overdrop is great!

Okay so the reality of it is this is a reskinned version of Dark Sky. But they want a monthly or annual sub for what? Just let me pay a one time fee for the “Pro” version of Overdrop . Also all of the “Pro” features are just more skins and icons without adds. You aren’t being innovative - this is a cash grab. To be clear this isn’t the only App on Overdrop Store that does this. I think Apple needs to update their terms of service on what can and cannot be a monthly subscription.

Also if you pay for this application you really need to consider what you are paying for. I would be supporting application developers that give you more bang for your buck.

The hourly graph really needs fixing! The first hour it shows is 2 hours ahead of the current time when using AccuWeather. This drives me crazy as the immediate weather is what’s most important on something like this! The other big thing is that both the rain and the temperature should be on together. I’m always toggling between the two. There’s lots of vertical space that’s wasted and is just unused. Finally, each hour could be a bit closer in order to show more without needing to horizontally scroll the view.

The top animation is cute, but it serves no purpose as it never changes with the weather.

I like all the different themes and color choices.

This is hands down the best weather app fo iPhone I’ve installed it on my 6s that’s on iOS 13and on my iPhone 7 that on iOS 14 I hope that soon you will support widgets and if Overdrop was available for my pc and Mac and Linux I would download them all I really love this great information and fantastic user interface keep up my fantastic work guys 😍🙃👍

I really like this weather app. It has an especially information rich, easy to read interface. It also provides users with a variety of weather sources. But after some use, Overdrop won't open. This has happened several times and each time I have to delete and then reinstall Overdrop . I'm hoping that the developer identifies this problem and fixes it in a much needed update.

this app is a great app. Instantly bought the $10/yr premium version after looking through Overdrop for a few minutes. It has multiple gorgeous themes, customizable options, and four different weather providers to get data from.

This is a great looking app that I appreciate. However, the pro features won’t unlock and ads constantly show up. I would have to constantly go to settings and press Restore Purchases to get it unlocked. Disappointed this is the case, as I paid for the features.

Overdrop is a really good free alternative to Dark Sky but after a day it doesn’t work even after deleting it and redownloading it

I love Overdrop so far. It's clear and easy to read. I paid for all full features but Overdrop won't unlock. I emailed support so waiting to hear back. Will update if I do.

Turned greedy for the long term, not why would I pay 10 a year over a one time purchase of dark sky? Answer: I won’t

C changing themes does not change the color of the screen at all

Overdrop is just a fancy version of other weather apps and it pulls from weather app sources. As mentioned by other reviews, Overdrop stops opening and working after a few tries. I want my money back.

Are you ever adding notifications?

Love the animations and the fluidity of Overdrop. Not all devs include icons selections and I really appreciate that... especially for us OLED users lol.

Have signed up for paid premium features and i am charged for it but they fail to activate on Overdrop , please fix or refund my purchase

Excellent weather data and a fantastic UI. Coming from years of android devices and use having widgets made the experience that much better. I’m very hopeful Overdrop evolves and supports custom weather widgets and custom weather icons. Excellent work.

Would be great to have an iPad app!
