Despicable business. I know the airline has refunded them (because I called the airline) and they refuse to reimburse me. They keep sending emails threatening to charge $30 if they have to help with refund. Believe me I’ve done all the work, and I have gotten the refund processed. But this app fails to reimburse customers and their phone line makes you wait on hold forever and then answers with a dead line. I wish I had never clicked on this app for purchase of airline ticket.
If you’re reading this, please do not ever ever ever book through this app. Book with airline directly or use any other travel agency. This is not a travel service, but a travel disservice. Seriously I would’ve had my money back from multiple covid-cancelled flights and wouldn’t have had to waste so much time trying to fight this app. I haven’t received a penny back from them and have three canceled flights through them :/
Other friends on the same flights already have their money back because they didn’t use this app.

I booked a flight with them. When I received the confirmation, I noticed there was an error. There is no way to get help through Gotogate . I called their customer service number - waited about 45mins to speak to a live person, who had no idea what she was doing. Kept putting me on hold every 5mins. I then asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. She hung up on me!!!! A total of 1 hour and 30mins. Problem still not resolved. I would highly suggest don’t book with them!

I booked a flight with this app and took Airhelp flight delay compensation plan.
When my flight got canceled this app not able to rescheduled my flight and no information about delay compensation.
Agent is constantly told me to Airline customer support. It is agents responsibility and particularly this app platform to provide hassle free travel.

Almost two hours on a phone call that they can’t even pick up. Luckily I didn’t pay too much but I can already tell they won’t ever get back to me based on all the negative reviews. Right after booking my flight it said that it should take up to 3 days for my flight information to be display but nothing ever happened.

A couple weeks ago, I booked an international flight that clearly included baggage in the fare, but the issued ticket didn’t include baggage. The ticket was cancellable, so I requested a refund within minutes, but this app held onto a $60 service fee.

this app has refused to refund their $60 lack-of-service charge, and it turns out that there are facebook groups with thousands of members devoted to this app refund claims. And now, the virtual card that I used with this app has suddenly been getting fraudulent charges after half a decade with no problems, suggesting that maybe this app was also a security breach.

Bottom line, avoid at all costs. Hopefully, these guys are just having massive technical glitches as the travel industry ramps back up, and not intentionally scamming the literally thousands of users complaining about them on facebook, but either way, this isn’t an app for worry-free transactions.

They are the biggest scammer in booking industry. They wouldn’t refund your money even if you had canceled airline ticket with in 24 hours. Airlines have refunded the money but they wouldn’t give back to you. They are scamming the customers. There customer service is also terrible. We are going to file the lawsuit against them. If you have been scammed you may join us.

Tickets was sold trough other fake website. No one is responding to any contact! Please be aware of this ticket sales app. Please make sure not to use SUPERSAVER- my ticket was purchased from there. Unfortunately, I am leaving the Russia and will have no chance to return my money. At least I can alert you so you think before using them. This travel agency is so horrible and it’s employees who hang on you just because they don’t fell like helping. Like omg they are the worst and how they put you on hold for hours and just hang on you. I talked to at 15 different employees and they always either hang on you. Put you on hold or make up an excuses like there is an error with the system. All I want is to rebook my dam ticket like why is it so hard. Omg plz someone help meee.

Gotogate doesn't allow for any services other then viewing what you've already booked or making more purchases. There is no way to reach customer service through Gotogate , there are no options to modify anything, and there are no options to cancel fights or bookings. The this app customer service phone queue is currently full, and I've been in the queue for 5 hours now waiting to talk to someone.

•Very despicable page and app. •Very unsafe. •They never pick up any phone. •They don’t even have real customer services. •Too much issues, anxiety and panic you have to deal at the airports because you actually don’t even know where you going if you get a ticket with this people. •It’s a nightmare booking site. •Not recommend at all •not even one start. Very dissatisfied. Apple what’s going on with you recommending this type of insecure sites and app.

Absolutely the worst travel company/agent frauds in the business. Even if their offer is 99% lower than other sites, do not let them scam you because their booking is worthless. Days before your “flight”, they cancel and do not refund you. So they scam funds from you wit our offering any actual flights in return. They should be investigated.

I know this website from other traveling websites, they diverted me to here bcuz the ticket was really cheap, after I filled all informations, and took me to the payment page, I filled all payment informations including the passcode, then after I clicked finish, the price suddenly increased four times even more expensive than all prices, from 500 to 2200$ which is no way to continue. And now after I gave all my card info I don’t feel secured and don’t recommend it to anyone.

I booked a flight with this app and it was cancel by the airline: Eastern. I had to wait two hours to speak with a representative from this app. They told me to solve the issue myself (even tho it wasn’t my fault the flight was canceled) I had to call them, and the airline three times. this app didn't inform that my flight was cancelled, I found out at the airport! this app customer service’s representatives are rude. And last but not least, the refund takes TWO MONTHS to be processed, that’s just crazy. People, an advice, DON’T BOOK WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!

First of all I ended up paying 300 more than I would’ve if I booked directly with the airline !! They charge me for two checked bags but I’m only able to take one because I didn’t “check” the second passenger bag in the options they give you !! Why ? Why would I pay for a second bag and not want it !?!?! In what world that makes sense , that’s 70 dollars extra , where does that money even go ??? Please do yourself a favor and never book through this website/ company , I only picked it because google recommended it as the cheapest option and honestly is going to make the experience worse .

Unbelievable experience, in the worst way. I was told last minute my flight was cancelled (I found out it wasn’t), it’s taken me over 3.5 months to get a refund, no emails have been replied to other than one, and they’ve taken 4000yen off my refund to line their pockets.
All I can hope is that they cease to exist and for this to happen we need others to refrain from using them and to continue to assassinate their abysmal reputation.
Avoid. At all costs.

and to this app, do not reply with your generic response telling me this review doesn’t apply to Gotogate , everything needs doing to ensure your demise and suffering, and do not dare ‘hey’ me either.

I have never had an experience as bad as my experience with them, it’s definitely the worst in the whole life. Even one star is a lot for them . For canceling a ticket it took me over 30 hours of waiting on the phone listing to their stupid music and the unhelpful options, after all someone answered who barely speaks English and always rushing to end the call without even try to help. I also sent a cancellation email and there was no response after 10 business days, instead I received tons of offers about upgrading my booking and buying new services . Will never ever do any kind of business that related to this company anymore. please if you see their name anywhere just RUN AWAY.

When I downloaded this WORTHLESS app to view my trip and I went to input my email address and order number, I get a message that says “there is no existing trip.” However, when I am on their website, I am able to view my trip with this same information. Why does is Gotogate not registering my trip information? After reading all of the back to back terrible reviews (why is Gotogate rated 4.5 stars when I literally saw only 1 star ratings???), I became worried that my trip wasn’t even legitimate. So I decided to download the actual airport app and input my trip information and THANK GOD it pulled up. I will NOT be using the this app app for my trip and will never ever ever be purchasing through them again.

Flight information doesn't match the airline. I got an email from this app suggesting I install their app, so I did. The flight info for my booking in Gotogate does NOT match the airline's information. What good is useless misleading information going to do me? Why would I use an app that's going to make me miss my flight? I downloaded it to be able to check in early like it said in the email (couldn't find this feature) but I'm uninstalling because Gotogate has bad info.

Everyone will have different experiences leading to their ratings so I’ll share mine.

During the booking checkout, the form would not accept my primary card. The site wouldn’t even try to process the card, and the button to proceed was greyed out until I entered a different card.

Once I booked the flight I received two confirmation numbers. Neither of these were recognized by the airline reservation checker tool.

I reached out to both the airline as well as this app. The airline was very helpful, but the this app support was a little slow.

I also didn’t like all of the extras that this app tries to add on as you go through the process. Even after declining everything they do try to send many emails about purchasing more.

All in all I’d rather pay an extra $50 on my ticket every time to prevent these headaches.

First time user and was not very happy. We took our daughter (4) on her first flight. Booked through this app website and was instructed to use app to make things easier. 👎🏻 mine and my husband’s ticket were ok but when we went to scan our daughters boarding pass at security it wouldn’t work. We tried to re-checkin because the security supervisor said something about the tickets had changed since it was last updated. I had to take my 4 year old back to the ticket counter and download the airline app to get things fixed. All this after we’d already stood in line at security. So glad we were early and didn’t miss our flight. We will be deleting Gotogate and only using the airline’s app on the way home.

They charge you for your boarding pass by a HUGE markup. The help service is slower than what is ever remotely acceptable? MAYBE less than 8 hours IF I pay $30? No. I feel sorry for anyone who’s unfortunate enough to use this app Inc’s services.

Flight was cancelled by the airline. Airline confirmed ticket was refunded. this app kept the refund! Never use this shady company, it isn’t worth it!

These guys do not know how to support their customers. It’s impossible to refund even if it’s their mistake. Gotogate is useless if the team behind its company are causing you a heart attack with their illogical arguments.

You has noticed the reviews here. I am going to keep my simple: don’t trust this people!!! Scammers or worst. Two hours on the line to talk to an agent another day almost 3 and no one pick up the call. Nor emails.

this app is clearly overwhelmed and not managing the Coronavirus at all. They’ve disabled customer service on their website. They prompt you to download Gotogate for a better experience but you can only add additional features to a trip for additional fees. Service has either been disabled or this is a really poor app
