The smart plug app will not except a password..Keeps telling me that it needs 6 to 20 characters of letters and numbers...Thennm.!123...Why wont this work?....Thanks

Gosund light switch is installed it has power. I can hear the switch clicking when turn off & on. The problem is the light that the switch is connected to stays on and will not turn off.

I have purchase Two (4) packs separately. The first set all worked great and are still good today. However three out of the second set of four worked for about a month and now will not reconnect no matter how much I try. I have come to the conclusion that these three are defective. I really need to have these replaced. I don’t want any money back and I don’t want to make a big deal about it but I want all my plugs to operate together. Please help me.

Dont buy smart plugs from them. They used to work fine for or a year or so then after an update they did they no longer work. They say all you need is 2.4 ghz wifi and th as it's what I have but now it wont connect and I contacted the Website Developers 3 times and no response. They just lost a customer and probably will lose more...

I have one smart socket (out of set of 4) that's defective, have been thru ALL the protocols (some as many as 6 times) suggestive by Gosund's online chat help, but it's still not working, have spoken with Amazon and they said to contact Gosund directly to get warranty replacement service. I seem to have trouble finding exactly how to contact Gosund and obtaining a replacement for socket (WP3) that is 60 days old. Amazon attempted to call Gosund however, their phone is not working? Not a good sign!! Socket works manually with button on/off, but will not program for Alexa. Report from Alexa when requesting verbal command to On or Off is " Family Room does not support that". Seems to be wifi issue with only this one plug. Please contact me with a replacement for this item. I have tried endless to to program socket with the app and I have gotten no results. I do have xfinity wifi and perhaps it's not compatible with it. If I can't get any assistance with set up, i'll just have to return them.

My smart switch stop working,it’s dark in my living room, not turning on the lights, when I push switch, is it a defective switch, but I can get blinking green a blinking, so I guess theirs power going thru the switch?

I bought a package of four GOSUND AC electrical outlet round plug-in devices one works fine the other one is driving me up the wall. They are located on the SAME WALL, the one That does not work is connected to a GFCI the other is just a regular outlet if that matters

I purchased Smart Plug, Gosund Mini WiFi. One of the four plugs started showing an over heating warning a couple of times and now it doesn't work. I don't want to return all four because the three still work. Is there some way of returning one?

Using Gosund smart plugs since September 2020 just fine. Plugs went offline when the password changed. I deleted all devices to start over. When I try to add a plug, the old password reappears. I change it but it reverts back. There is no Save button to keep update the new password

Dear Customer Service team, I just installed successfully, without any issue the Gosund led strip light and being all excited to put it around the tv, then bedroom and kitchen. As soon as I do the first cut when I’m supposed to, rest of the lights don’t work. Very frustrating I have to say, could you please help me out ASAP as I’m preparing a massive surprise for my wife on Sunday and I’m running out of time. Please guide me how to fix it if I can. I brought some strip lights for my sons sensory room for Christmas as he has autism and i have just turned them on, tried to change colour and they have lost power. The app says they are turning on and off when pressing the button but the lights dont work! Please help my son is beside himself as his safe calm room doesnt have his lights.

I have sent multiple emails asking for help in regards to my Gosund smart plugs none of them are connecting to the Wi-Fi network within my house I have the 2.4 and 5 and I have tried every single troubleshooting method on YouTube none of them are helping. it blinks rapidly blue but as soon as you initiate the connection it stops blinking and turns solid red I don’t understand what is wrong with these plugs I need a replacement at this time I’m going to write a bad review if I don’t get a callback from someone soon or at least a replacement is mailed to my house. WORST SETUP EXPERIENCE EVER

These reviews are either all bs bots, or just extraordinarily lucky. Got a light strip for my birthday and began to set it up as a backlight for my tv. I’m pretty tech savvy so this seemed easy enough. WRONG. You would think the lights would AT MOST require a blue tooth connection to your phone- so okay, turn on Bluetooth and just pair to the lights. NOPE. You have to first download the app and make an account, configure your WiFi to their specified 2.4, then enter your WiFi password BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN ATTEMPT TO SCAN FOR THE STUPID LIGHTS. This whole process was designed by a moron I swear to god. And even when you get to this point, you (or at least I) can’t even connect to the lights!!!!! Absolutely outrageous. Never buying one of these products again, and will tell anyone and everyone to avoid making the same mistake. HORRIFYINGLY BAD INSTALLATION. As in, someone should be fired immediately. A 12 year old could have designed a better set up process. Cannot underline my disgust enough.

Ads that you can’t disable, despite what support says.

I bought a Gosund product and was fine with it for a while until I started deciding I wanted to use it daily. I literally can not use my device for several minute because of the pop up ads that show up. I have done every step and enabled/disabled every settings as told and 6 months later I still am getting these pop up ads plus they ignore my feedback. I genuinely wish I could return the product but when I initially bought it I was using it as basically a timer so I didn’t notice until it was too late to return. Now I tried to use it as a switch and honestly it would be faster and easier than having to deal with the ads to just get up and use a real switch or power button. App works to some extent but the company and customer service are horrible in my opinion. Use a different smart device/app pairing and save yourself the time.

Won’t work withAlexa

Useless!! Absolutely useless!! Why am I fighting with yet another “smart” app that is ridiculously trying to make it impossible to lync with me Alexa home. I create an account when I download the app and then I go to Alexa to sync and of course it says I have log into my Gosund account to continue. First ten times I try it just keeps opening my gosund app and then nothing. I tried closing both apps and starting from Alexa, but nothing worked. Until I deleted the gosund app and then seemingly tada and it takes me to a gosund login screen. Oh wait... it wants me to login with my phone number which was never asked for by gosund and seemingly there is nowhere in the gosund app to link your phone number to your account. This makes perfect since... gosund uses your email address to create an account and then tells alexa to log you in with a phone number. Yeah this is a seamless solution to my home automation.😤😔☹️
