I entered my phone number, then the code. Then I was tossed back to the page telling me to enter my phone number. Circular reference....

To pay rent by direct bank payment, you needed to tell them your bank account password (the actual password, not the account number), which I was unwilling to do. To pay by debit card there is a high fee that is only revealed once you have input your card details. Once you have put in your card details, it stores it as a payment method, with no apparent way to delete it. Livly is new, and now my card details seem to be forever stored on there for hackers to target. There doesn’t even seem to be a way to delete the account completely, as this was set up by the apartment building manager.

I just updated Livly , & now I can’t even get it to open!! I need this to pay my rent. Please correct this issue.

Livly sends me notification advertisements that have nothing to do with maintenance requests or paying rent. Livly loads excessively slow. When submitting maintenance request, trying to pay rents, just using Livly it constantly has an orange circle for minutes at a time and refuses to load.

The whole app no longer works after your last update! Total frustration

App crashes many times. I have to uninstall and download once again to make it work! Need improvements please.

No one gets notifications when someone creates a post or adds a comment. It makes it impossible to have a conversation.
The event scheduling works pretty well though.
Livly needs a convenient way to report bugs, I can’t figure it out easily so I’m leaving a review instead.

Annoying to get into my building and my door and elevators by constantly opening app and hitting the key button. Consider creating a key in the apple passbook or better yet an Apple Watch app to use as key fob.

Paying rent is about the only thing that I use Livly for. Not sure if the problems I have are with Livly or because management just uses Livly for rent payments. I’ve attempted to make posts in the community feed and it never actually posts which has been super frustrating ex. I found someone’s debit card in the hall and tried to make a post, says my post was posted go to the feed and my post is no where to be found. Also, there’s no option to message management directly only maintenance requests and none of the promoted offers are available in my area. Maybe my complex’s management doesn’t utilize all of the apps features. Would be great if I were able to use all of them.

Considering the entire experience is app-based, the amount of bugginess is unacceptable. Half the time, I’m unable to login to my account because of an unspecified error. Given that the whole experience is only available via a logged in account, it makes for a pretty poor user experience.

Livly makes it easy to pay rent. But I would suggest a feature to delete bank info/cards stored in Livly . It would make users feel a lot safer and more in control of their private information.

I’m super excited to have an app in my building and imagine the potential ways it can streamline property management. This was a good start but Livly has a ways to go before best practices are applied to the UX.
Offerings I like: it’s great to see a hub for paying rent, requesting home services and getting general announcements outside of my email.
Personal misgivings:
1. It seems like there was a lot of focus in making the ui “pretty” but I don’t think it’s ADA compliant by any stretch of the imagination (white and pink colors in the same color spectrum, bold black text in the tiniest of fonts below buttons that aren’t located where thumbs rest).
2. Friction of signing in to websites isn’t replaced at all. I was a little shocked to see that I had to sign into Livly , and then sign in to my property management web portal too. I presume, then, that the login to site won’t be retained and I will have to sign twice every month that I want to pay rent. Instead, the onboarding flow for this app should have included backend calls to the current property management system, asked me to verify my unit (or some other personal identifier), and sso-Ed into Livly (one and done with hashed token).
3. Clicking on a service routes to list of all services and adds a point of friction to the user’s goal of booking a service.
4. Searching for Livly in Livly Store was hard; “this app” didn’t come up but “this app L” did. I’m not recommending this app L to people, but I would recommend this app.
I’m looking forward to future enhancements like:
1. seeing a list of building events
2. cross platform integration of apps I use like Latch (to unlock my door) and Ritual (to create group pick up and delivery orders).
Please credit me in your release notes if you do those things lol.
