After paying 3.99 to have access to converting text to PDF, you click on it and it gives you a blank screen with no choices at all. What a waste of money.

Just like others have stated, this isn’t the same app from android. After paying the $4 to have the ability to restore your backup files, it removes that ability to do so. Scam and should be removed from the store.

I use SMSBackup on android no problem. Attempting to load sms backup on new I phone. I click to restore sms but this is only possible through purchase on iOS version. So I purchased. Now there isn’t even a button for backup and restore, and when I click settings there aren’t any options for backup and restore.

SMSBackup appears to be a knockoff of the original SMS BACKUP & RESTORE. It doesn’t work with the new IOS at all or integrate with SMSBackup I’ve been using on Android for years. Developer wont respond to issues. $3.99 WASTED

it doesn’t work on my new iPhone 13. just simply needed to transfer sms messages from my old android to new iPhone and it doesn’t work. Prompts you to pay 3.99 to unlock the “restore” feature but when I paid for it i now don’t have a restore or import data file option.
I reached out through SMSBackup Store to their linked email address but get a bounce back email saying invalid address. I tried customer support link in App Store and the website comes back as invalid.
SMSBackup is a scam and apple should be taking this off their list along with any FAKE positive reviews

I’m coming hot off the Galaxy S21 Ultra (9th Android) to my first iPhone. SMS Backup & Restore is an amazing app used in Android world, which I’ve used for a long time. SMSBackup copies the icon and doesn’t do anything near what the Android version does. Shame on me for not looking at the reviews first. Asked for a refund.

Dispute the logo looks the same as Android version, it’s not the same. You can not get sms transfer from android to iPhone. Looking for a way to get my refund now

I’ve used SMSBackup on android for years and could transfer my messages between phones easily.
For an iPhone the only backup is in an image, pdf, etc. definitely not worth paying for.

Just not the same program. The Android version lets you back up and restore to/from cloud locations like Google Drive. The iOS version seems to have none of these capabilities. Why not?
