The GiantPharmacy app was once a reliable tool for managing prescriptions and accessing pharmacy services conveniently. However, recent updates implemented since March have left much to be desired.

Previously seamless features such as password saving and biometric login are now either inconsistent or altogether absent. It’s baffling how basic functionalities have been compromised, seemingly to prioritize the addition of an in-app payment option.

While the introduction of new features can enhance user experience, it should not come at the expense of GiantFoodRx ’s fundamental usability. The frustration of having to repeatedly enter login credentials outweighs any convenience gained from the new payment feature.

GiantPharmacy developers need to reassess their priorities and focus on restoring GiantFoodRx ’s core functionalities to their former reliability. Users expect updates to enhance, not hinder, their experience. Until these issues are addressed, the GiantPharmacy app falls short of its once commendable reputation.

I’ve selected to have me and my husbands refills auto filled in GiantFoodRx more times that I can count and they are never ever automatically refilled. Additionally I paid for my prescription through GiantFoodRx on Monday and selected it to be shipped to my house with 2 days shipping, well it’s now turn following Sunday and it never came, I’m completely out of my medication, and I just checked GiantFoodRx and it says it’s ready for pick up. It was never shipped apparently and I suspect GiantFoodRx as the point of failure here…

Your app is so easy to navigate & click through. The only thing that I find a bit annoying is, when a prescription runs out of refills, it doesn't go away until it has expired. In addition, it would be nice if I didn't always have to call my Dr. to request she send over a new script for refills when one of mine runs out of refills or expires. I wish that Giant could do that for me. But, I do see that they are understaffed. It's too bad they don't have a computer program that automatically does that for them.

I’m someone who has to take a lot of different medications and GiantFoodRx is a big help in keeping track. I love the ability to scan the label. One star deduction because if you log in to check refills or to order refills it’s a bit of a mess with very old scripts still there. That can make it more difficult as you’re scrolling and looking for the most recent one.

GiantFoodRx has been very helpful over the years with getting my refills of my medications. The one thing that would make things much easier is to have a section where prescriptions could go in the history area if the prescription has expired or has no refills left. Having chronic illnesses and being on multiple medications I have to do quite a bit of scrolling and detective work to request refills since everything is in my history for the year. Even medications that the doctor has taken me off of. It would also be helpful if the patient could move them into this location. It would also be helpful if the patient could leave notes about the medication since there seems to be a lot of back orders of numerous medications. That way we can put down any side effects or issues with a certain manufacturer. Not all generics are created equal!! Please reach out to me if you would like to further discuss these changes I’m talking about. I’d be more than happy to test a beta version.

Our other Pharmacy app that we use put the first couple letters of the medication in a text so we actually know which one was filled for what person I always have to call Giant since its 3 adults3 & sometimes the doctors office calls in something but they haven’t told us that they’ve approved it so it still would be nice to know what medication is waiting at Giant… love the idea of pick up however you have to call & actually call & then put on hold….. my husband doesn’t walk well but in the and I end up finding it quicker to go inside any improvements would be appreciated

I am grateful for GiantFoodRx option because now I don’t have to struggle to get the pharmacy on the phone, and as someone who often does not know all of her medication’s RX numbers from memory It’s very convenient that everything is logged in one place and I can see exactly how many refills I have left over I need to contact my provider. It’s actually help me keep up with my prescriptions better than before.

This is the easy simple and painless part. I have put the date to pickup today at 6:00(?) for everything. I do not need a text alert for every completed medication. I just need 1 message saying “all 8 medications are ready for pickup “ Secondly, when I get a call or text that something is ready, can’t they tell you what it is that is ready? That is my input for review.

I gave up on wall greens because I had so many problems with my refills over the past two years. Frequently, they would refill prescriptions without my permission in order to make more money for the company. The last straw was when they stopped filling my pain medicine that I rely on due to severe autoimmune problems that cause severe chronic pain and fatigue. I hope somebody creates a class action suit and goes after them.

I tried the Giant Pharmacy app to do a refill rather than calling it in. It was so simple and took just a few steps. No delays listening to a long video message before getting to the point to enter refill info. Assuming all goes well when I pick it up later today, the experience overall will get 5 stars.

This is my first time ever using a Giant pharmacy for my prescriptions, instead of using your typical “chain pharmacy store”. Ex: Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid. I was hesitate at first, but my first time ever walking in it was 10 min to closing since my doc visit went late. I felt horrible as it was, my new insurance at the time was giving them a hard time but the pharmacist took her time and was so kind and caring making sure I had everything I needed to go home with. Ever since I have been going here, now over a year. I would have never had that treatment anywhere else!!!

I love the staff at my home town Giant Pharmacy at 8074 Rolling Road in Springfield. Miss Jill and Miss Brenda are so kind and efficient, diligent and effective. While on an extended pandemic visit with my son in Baltimore, I found the Giant Pharmacist on Loch Raven Road in Towson to be just as compassionate and helpful. I needed two pills of a prescription to get me through until the weekend when I planned venture back to Springfield and pick up a full bottle that I had left at my home. They gave me just those two pills that I needed. They were So helpful and understanding. I am thankful.

I recently discovered GiantFoodRx and it makes it so easy to check the status of medications without having to call and bother the pharmacy staff. (They have always been so nice when I did call but this is easier on all of us.) I like being able to see when my prescriptions were last filled.

I have been using GiantFoodRx to refill my prescriptions for a couple years now. I have always found it easy to use and always had the prescriptions there and waiting when i arrive t pick them up. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to fill their prescriptions without a lot of bother and not wanting to make a phone call.

The staff is wonderful, they are always eager to help you especially when there’s a problem. They are quick and efficient unlike other pharmacies that I left.I can trust that my prescriptions are going to be taken care of, and they are ready for me when I need them. A great Pharmacy, I won’t go anywhere else.

I love GiantFoodRx because it is easy to use and allows me to scan my refills and see my medications at any time. I will be transferring the rest of my family’s meds to Giant to help save us time and money. We can grocery shop and use the pharmacy in one location instead of making separate trips. I can manage our medicines well using GiantFoodRx !

I have tried to fill and refill some prescriptions at other pharmacies and none of them have been as reliable as my Giant! Giant Pharmacy, personnel, professional, courteous, kind, informed, and so willing to help. They go the extra mile to ensure our family has the pharmaceuticals we need when we need them.

Using the Giant Pharmacy App, has been a time saver for my husband and myself. The ability to view all of our prescriptions and their status in one place is wonderful. To make individual selections for renewal just by checking the box is a credit to Giant Pharmacy for its innovation and efficiency.

The Giant Pharmacy app on my mobile phone to order refills of my prescriptions, was fast and easy to use. Information was there showing all my prescriptions and when they were last filled. GiantFoodRx lets me know what prescriptions are ready for filling. It also lets me know when when a prescription I’ve ordered, is ready to be picked up.

Hello- I would love to be able to change the phone number in GiantFoodRx . Currently, to change the phone number that receives prescription refill notifications, you must visit the pharmacy. This is very inconvenient - can you please make this an option within GiantFoodRx ?
