Difficult to use.

This was difficult to use for anything other than a FODMAP food list. The Diary feature would not save my selections. The date for that feature was off by about 2 months but I was not able to update it to the current date. You have to purchase the Analysis function and although the cost is nominal, if it does not function any better than the diary feature, I’m not sure I would bother. Great ideas in theory but IMHO, needs work.

Add notes on symptoms?

I used and love Cara, made tremendous progress but have been stalked, abused and had my partner's ex engage in domestic violence against me for 6 months. (DV- we had been friends) My conclusions were wiped from memory and I feel like I need a different choice while this is happening. This Fodmap looks like a decent choice, although fairly minimalist

Not sure how accurate and customer contact only through Facebook?

I downloaded this and a few other apps and found inconsistencies. For example, LowFODMAPdietfoods shows Brussels stouts as fine but it’s not correct. I tied to contact customer support to mention it but you have to log in Facebook!! What if you don’t use Facebook?

Should be free

After one day. I cancelled subscription because it did not contain enough. The food list you couldn't speak or type in You had to go thru list which was limited. To view recipes. You had to go to a site that forwarded you an inside. So recipes could not be saved for later

Not enough foods & yearly price is discouraging

LowFODMAPdietfoods only has 400 foods

And it doesn’t give you the instant info about quantities - some FODMAP foods are fine at low doses but symptoms increase with quantity. Use Monash University instead

Also LowFODMAPdietfoods constantly hides the info you want & is pushing you to buy but doesn’t reveal info to let you know if it worth buying

I’m using the Monash University App & it covers much more info than this one. It’s expensive (for an App) but it’s a one time purchase price

Sorry I’m going to delete LowFODMAPdietfoods

Wish we could add to list

Good app-I just wish we could add to foods and/or symptoms.

A little lacking

Some ingredients that are like
Main stream now in healthy food are not in app. So it’s kinda pointless for me.

By

No demo or tour

You have to pay for a subscription before you can even see a demo or explore all the features. Why would I pay for an app before it’s clear what it does?

Faltan algunos alimentos

not able to do a lot
