Food City Pharmacy Mobile App Reviews

This is one of the better online pharmacy apps I’ve used. The interface is very intuitive and it’s easy to use in terms of the number of steps required to complete a task. It’s also very stable in that I have never had it lock up or failed work. The pharmacy prices at Food city are also unbeatable. Between their prices and FoodCityPharmacy and their fast turnaround time I can’t imagine using anyone else.

The scanning camera works fast, I don’t have to pull the bottle in and out to get it focused. FoodCityPharmacy keeps up with my prescriptions, including how many refills I have left - makes it easy to see what I need when I go to the doc. I’ve tried other pharmacy apps, but this one is hands down better than any of the others. I pair it with the GoodRx app to make sure I’m getting the best price.

I used to use a mail order Rx service that was recommended by BCBS.
But after a while, it became cumbersome.
I switched to Food City, Euclid Avenue, Bristol, Va.
I’m so glad I did because the staff is always so friendly and helps me with the process. And most of all, the pharmacists Hannah and Lance are just the best!
Really glad to have them as a very important part of my medical team!

Overall, this is a good app. Easy to navigate. However, it’s missing one feature that really bugs me! We need the ability to hide prescriptions that we no longer take or that have expired. When I need a refill, I sometimes have to sort through 30-40 prescriptions to find the one I need. It’s time consuming and sometimes I end up requesting the wrong RX.

The Food City Pharmacy is great. Ease of use on the website is easy to use and if necessary, they contact your doctor for refills if you happen to be out. The ONLY thing I would change if it was possible would be to take old prescriptions off and only have current meds listed.

The only problem I have is it will show ready for refill then you have to scroll to see when the last time it was refilled and then it’s to early to fill it. It would be nice to have the actual last refill date so you don’t have to go hunting for it.

I love being able to refill my meds so quick and easy. Only thing I don’t like is it keeps everything that you’ve had filled together even of the same prescription. So you end up having to guess when is the current. Wish there was so way they could separate old and new.

So simple to refill prescriptions with the scanner. Problem is I can no longer go through the drive thru making it difficult for me to pickup my medicine. So mad the drive thru was taken out! Not convenient for people with disabilities.

I really like the fact that I can have my family all in one app to keep up with when medications are ready for pick up and some of them will “auto refill”

The Pharmacist and employees at Food City Pharmacy on Morrell Road know me by name and treat me with respect and friendly service. Their service is excellent. I always look forward to seeing them when I pick up my medication. I give them my highest rating

Good app! Scan the bottles for a quick refill if applicable or pick auto refill. You will get notification when it is filled and ready. Quality 100x over a couple of the other BigBox pharmacies!

I use the pharmacy app all the time! I can request refills, view medications called in by the doctor, or see if a medication has been refilled yet. It’s quick and easy to use.

Very straight forward and easy to use… need a way to filter to active prescriptions and print report on same.

Wish we could remove Rx we don’t use anymore. And where able to add our coupons on app.

I love the staff at Food City Pharmacy. They treat you like family. The pharmacist are always helpful and knowledgeable as the prescriptions. And they are always easy to talk to and easy to explain new medication’s or new instructions.

Love having my scripts in one place and the ease of submitting a refill! No sitting on the phone. Just click and go and they tell you when it’s ready!

I would like to be able to see the status of my prescription online. That would be amazing!

Easy to use— like the option to enter Rx number or scan label. Also easy to select pickup time and location, and you can opt in for auto-refills.

I’ve transferred all my prescriptions from Walmart. I’m pleased with Food City Pharmacy! If you are using Walgreens you need to check out the food city pharmacy.

I love being able to scan my prescription’s barcode to order refills. FoodCityPharmacy is much faster than calling prescriptions in on phone.

I was pleased when FoodCityPharmacy came out and the first couple of times I used it. For probably 2 months I haven’t been able to see my rx list, and it says I have not rx history. I’ve deleted FoodCityPharmacy and re-downloaded with no improvement. I was hopeful with an update the issues would be fixed but they haven’t been. I have emailed support twice with no resolution. Very disappointed

Much better after the update! I can now see all meds and how many refills available to fill. Much easier to use and operate!!

Haven’t been able to get into app for the last month or longer.

When FoodCityPharmacy was working loved it and was very convenient. Giving it a low star because of it not working.

Very happy that I can use FoodCityPharmacy to refill my prescriptions. Time saver!

I use FoodCityPharmacy monthly to refill my meds. You can scan the barcode on the bottle and the request is sent directly to the pharmacy location you use.

So easy for your refills!!! Recommend:)

FoodCityPharmacy doesn’t store your prescriptions It’s not user friendly. No where to add family member. It’s nothing like anything I’ve had with other pharmacy apps. They don’t call or text when your prescriptions are ready. The feedback button doesn’t work.

It’s frustrating that FoodCityPharmacy doesn’t offer RX history. CVS and Walgreens both do and it makes it a breeze to see what your doctor has called in and when and the status of your script.

FoodCityPharmacy no longer works for me. I keep getting an Internal Error message when I enter my personal info, and forget about actually requesting refills. I also had this issue last month on the latest Android platform.
