Simmons recently updated the whole app and I must say, this is probably the fastest and smooth apps I've ever used! No loading times, no having to search for how to pay bills or check what checks you sent. It's all in one screen. Did I mention how fast and responsive this app is? Cause I'm one who obsesses over those little things! Keep up the good work, Simons! 😊
Love the layout of this updated app but it’s incredibly unreliable. If it showed my transactions and my actual balance it’d be perfect but that’s just not the case. Ever since I downloaded it it’s just been a headache. I check it multiple times daily and everytime I do the balance is different when I haven’t even spent anything. Sometimes it varies a few dollars and sometimes it varies a few hundred dollars, sometimes it shows me I have way more money and then other times it shows I have way less. I’m so frustrated. I stopped trusting what this app was telling me when I overdrafted because it told me I had more in there than I actually had.
Alll around better
The new app makes it so much easier to access the tools I use every day. Everything is 1 tap away when I log in. I can customize my screen to just show me what I want to see. It is also much faster than the old app. I can get in and navigate around the app much faster than the old one.
My neighborhood bank is really BIG!
I’ve been a Simmons depositor for over ten years now. When I first moved to Searcy, I wanted a locally owner bank; one that would hear me. Now after all this time I realize that my little neighborhood bank is really a BIG bank. They have branches everywhere and can meet the needs of all kinds of banking.
I got the new app and it is SO MUCH faster than the old one!! Love the security of using my facial recognition to log in and the many features including mobile deposit, bill pay, transfers, etc etc!!! Looking forward to all the new features to come
It does not accurately calculate the money in the account. There is a big lag on what was debited and when it shows on the account. It also continually shows less money in the account then actually is and makes you panic. Takes 1/2 day before correcting itself. It also doesn’t show the break down of each transaction and what’s left in the account. Looks like I’m going to have to go back to the “balancing of a checkbook”. I had frustrations with the other app but this one is far worse.
I am having issues with the Mobil deposits. I called the 800 number for assistance and was told to shut my phone down, reload the app and try again. Same issues. When I’m doing the capture of the check for deposit, I can capture the front of the check but when I try to capture the back of the check, the instruction banner will not go away so I cannot finish my deposit. Fix this please.

Area for improvement - when will actual pictures of deposit be posted to the mobile transaction?
Digital online banking
My experience started with dialup service back in 1985 or so. Over the years I have neVer experienced a better App or service than Simmons, Thank you in advance for your help.
My app does not update like it’s supposed to. My transactions will take up to 3 days to go through and the app will tell me I have more money in my account than i actually do. So when I spend that money, it goes into the negatives when my card is set up to where it’s not supposed to. Hopefully these things will change, but for now it’s very annoying and frustrating.
Trouble depositing checks
The front picture is taking without problem but the back is a nightmare, it rejects the deposit saying that the check is not endorsed when it is. From 10 checks I was only able to deposit 4 trying multiple times with the back. Thank you for what you can do to improve this feature.
Very fast and convenient
Love this app, and this bank. I’ve been with Simmons since the beginning and you can’t beat a lot of their interest rates thru major big cooperate banks. My bank for life. 😆
I never rate apps, but I used the old one almost daily. Was excited about the upgrade only to find less functionality. Can’t see all account balances from home screen, can’t see more than 30 days back for transactions, transfer requires more touches than the old app. Did you not get feedback on this before launching?

I am really liking this new app! I love how you can customize the dashboard and you NEVER have to log out! I like that you can use a 4 digit passcode to login instead of entering your password every time.
This app has more features and many of them are excellent but the account information does not update as quickly as the previous app. It makes it more difficult to keep records up to date. For this reason I prefer the old app.
