Shady

One of the biggest cons about living in my current building is that they contracted with this stupid app for resident and guest parking. I always follow procedures to book for my guests and honor the parking times and recently, my guest overstayed by accident (they ONLY email your parking expiration reminder, text not available - SHADY). We had to rebook twice due to other people not following reserving procedures/overstaying and they charged us $15 late fee when the car was moved and rebooked in another spot within 10 minutes of the second email that was sent.

I kindly asked for grace given that Im a resident and had to rebook this guest twice in a garage with horrible service and you have to basically snitch (take a photo of the car in the spot you booked and enter their license plate). They wouldnt budge and told me that $15 is a reduced late fee for residents because it’s usually $30. It’s ridiculous! I hope my building doesnt renew their deal with them.

Just don’t

If you’re moving to a building that uses this app…RECONSIDER. They have no control over parking, they recently added fees for debit and credit card and the prices to cancel your account is not straight forward. this app issues were the #2 issue I chose to leave my apt and find a new place to live. Yep the parking situation ran me out of the building. Their customer service is just as bad as the setup. You can’t talk to anyone on the phone and the responses I got via email over the 13 months were not customer service friendly at all. Sass and excuses.

Yet another app

Ahh yess another poorly functioning third party app required by building management to pass the buck and make tenants lives more difficult and costly. Unnecessary massive amount of glitches. Email support not helpful when you’re n a garage needing urgent support.

Response to developer- I’d be happy to use up more of my free time to support your monetary gains if I receive a month free of the exorbitantly priced monthly tenant parking.

Terrible Company

And even worse service! Yes, great business strategy — force added fees on to something people are required to use for their apartments because you know they have no choice but to pay them. 10/10.

You do nothing, and add fees with no benefit to the user. What an absolute disgusting company you are. Luckily, I won’t be required to use your services after May. Have fun scamming your forced customers. Clowns! 🤡

Horrible Customer Service

If you are considering moving into a building that uses this app, live elsewhere. The customer service is terrible and the entire notion of paying to pay to park your car is ridiculous—this app recently added a three percent fee if you pay via debit, credit or Apple Pay. Other than non-iPhone users, who doesn’t prefer Apple Pay over providing a random company like this app with banking information?! So ridiculous.

This is the absolute worst

My building outsourced their parking to this app. I have never been more stressed out about parking. First they raised the rates by almost double at the end of our leases. Second they put me through 3 days of calling chargepoint for HOURS when they said it was a connection issue on my end when in reality it was because of this app mislabeling and mis-assigning chargers. Their alternative during that time I couldn't charge was to have me PAY to RENT another parking spot. They never once offered me compensation after wasting 3 days until they found out what was the issue, and then had ME explain it to them. Do I work for this app and didn't know?

Now they have other cars using my charger so I can't charge. They wrote to tell me it was because cars can share chargers. Well why couldn't I share a charger at the time when I couldn't access any other chargers in the lot at all?

No customer service and puts burden on renter

Whoever decided this was a good idea for our building, hadn’t really thought this through. I am now getting requests for people to rent my spot. No thanks! I pay for monthly parking and that’s all I want. No more unnecessary requests from strangers please. Also where is the Management company in all of this? Sitting back watching chaos ensue! No stars!

Highway Robbery

I’m so glad that now in the 2nd recession of my life this company thinks it’s ok to charge people to have visitors at their homes. Then on top of it, has no real way to remedy a problem that comes up, puts the responsibility on the residents. They have no way to communicate except over email to which I was patronized and given a condescending response when I was just trying to not have my friend towed or booted after paying for multiple reservations. If you want your residents to have to pay $50 for a weekend for their friend or family to visit, this is a great app! (But you’re an unethical business person). Which I also think this app is a very unethical business agenda and should not profit off of renters trying to enjoy their homes.

Greed.

My apartment in Cincinnati uses Parkade for our parking. My building is right next to the Bengals stadium and i am never parked in my spot on weekends, so I rent it out to other people. On the day of Bengals games, Parkade will charge 600% more than the hourly rate i set for my spot. I’m assuming it’s the company recognizing high demand for parking on game day and deciding that they can profit off someone renting my spot at a ridiculously higher price than i charge. No one is going to rent my spot now because they have made it insanely expensive, and i am assuming they would keep every dollar of that automatically applied markup even if someone DID rent it. Extremely disappointed.

Work well until someone parks in your spot.

The salvation works fine until someone parks in your space. The application has a future that you can notify this app, but it is faulty and keeps selecting the wrong spot if you have two spaces. This is annoying, and they don't provide a contact phone number.

Not easy to use

Very difficult to add dates. No “all day” option. If you try to add a whole week of availability for a vacation, it duplicates the normal recurring days and double books your spot. The menu options are not intuitive. If I have not used it in a few weeks, I can’t remember how to navigate.

Good customer service, frustrating pay system

The recurring charge system is very flawed and does not give you an option to use an alternate payment should the default payment fail. While customer service responds, it can sometimes take awhile to get it to where one is able to make the payment.

Outstanding Performance

Good morning,
I’d like to take a moment to express my appreciation and gratitude to 3 awesome individuals over at this app by the names of Michelle , Jonathan and Anna. They’ve been assisting me through the process of making changes and relocating to a new spot and have literally been the best ! I can’t thank you all over at this app enough 🙏.

With Gratitude

My building loves this app

We use to fight over parking at my apartment building. People were Peking in each other’s spots without permission, actual visitor parking was super hard to find, it was a mess. We switched to this app last month and it’s made a world of difference here. I wouldn’t go back, and easy parking turned into one of the things I love most about my building now.

Nice to be able to make some cash from my spot when I’m out of town too.

Parkade User

The this app app has been a game changer. We have a limited amount of spaces in our lot and I have been able to use Parkade to rent unused parking spaces in our parking lot. And an added bonus is that I can open the gate remotely. I was once in London and needed to open the gate for a friend who was visiting and it opened perfectly. I also want to mention that their customer service has always been quick to respond to my emails. I highly recommend this app.

Huge improvement at my building thanks to Parkade

My building started using this app earlier this year, and I downloaded Parkade about a month ago after our property manager sent out the link. It's been a HUGE help. I've finally been able to find parking for my guests (in my own garage). And last week my fiance moved in — with his car — and we were able to find a monthly parking spot for about $180/mo. Super helpful. Seems pretty easy to use too. I like the notifications.

Hope this gets bigger

I actually really enjoyed using Parkade for my apt. It is user friendly and they actually responded with care to my question which I was so shocked by. Appreciate it!

emmabelle

My bf's apartment uses this app and now I can actually visit him without having to park on the street and worry about my car. The building was finally able to offer guest parking. Thank you this app!!!

Ev parking solved

I own a Tesla, but I don’t have a charger in my parking space at my condo. However, a bunch of the other residents in the building do you have chargers. We tried to share their parking spaces via text message an email for a while, so that I could charge my car in the building, but it just never worked. It was a huge hassle.

Then we started using this app, and now it’s become super easy for those of us who own electric vehicles but don’t have a charger in our spot, to actually find a place to charge for a few hours or overnight. Love Parkade!

Quick support

Lara was really helpful getting me set up! She was super responsive to what was available and if my car would fit in compact spaces
