Scam

The only reason i gave this company one star is because it wouldn't let me proceed to right my review with 0 stars. This company offers non refundable rooms because they are scammers in some third world country. I paid for my room, money was taken, but when i got to the hotel, they were telling me i had to pay again, because the payment was declined. Need i remind you, the money was already gone from account and cleared, but somehow the hotel didn’t get their payment. When I called to speak with a rep, they told me repeatedly each time i called, someone would call me back in 15 minutes tops, each time i waited 15 minutes, no call. I asked for a supervisor, ironically there are no supervisors to come to the line to help. They are quick to say we’ll call you back, just to get you off the phone and then they never call you. They hang up in your face as soon as you ask them to do their job. Please do not book through this place unless you have money just to throw away

Snaptravel RUINED my vacation!!

I booked a week or more ahead!! I arrive to my hotel & they can’t find my reservation... The supervisor found my reservation and it was canceled for no reason... they couldn’t reinstate my reservation because it was through snaptravel... I contact snaptravel and they told me they escalated my issue and I would get a call back... I waited over an hour I received a phone call and they literally only asked me the same questions as when I first called.. they told me they would call back.... minutes later they tell me the hotel is now sold out.. I was INFURIATED in that timeframe I could’ve booked directly through the hotel ... I drove hours and had a car full of children and it was late at night! These people offered me NOTHING for my inconvenience no credit.. a refund is not enough for me !!! Will never use them again! I had to search and get a rinky dink hotel because every hotel was booked that night! Snaptravel needs to do better!!! Book at your own risk!!!

🚨🚨ITS A SCAM🚨🚨

SCAM ALERT- SNAPTRAVEL
SnapTravel is a Very Professional, Sophisticated & Well Played out SCAM
SnapTravel is 100% a SCAM
Any Good reviews about SnapTravel
Are just the Scammers trying to out weigh the REAL reviews from REAL people that got scammed. Do not use this website . This is just a heads up . If you choose to use this website after reading this review, here’s an “I TOLD YOU SO” for later after you find out for yourself that SnapTravel is a SCAM . You were warned here FIRST . ✌🏼 If you are wanting to get your money back , the only way to do so is to contact your bank and file a dispute . I would say that you did not authorize that transaction & you should be reimbursed in a few days or so . Now if you used a prepaid money gift card such as a vanilla card or something like that your most likely screwed . Don’t know what to tell you on that .

They have even created there own
Better Business Bureau (BBB) website
I clicked on it & thought it was the actual real
BBB website because I was going to file a complaint but I did some investigating & snooping on the website & found out the SnapTravel scammers created & control the
Website. & wait that’s not all !!!

They have even created there very own review page as well ! 😂 where people write there own reviews on there company

All you gotta do to find the websites I’m talking about is google them & they will pop up trust me !

Poor customer service and app

App tends to hang when completing the booking (I noticed it happens when there is a low price during a high demand time), even though it shows that the price is held for 15 minutes. You essentially lose the booking and a message just tells you to wait and contact support (who basically tell you “oh well”). I’ve also noticed that searches will show a lower price, but once you click on the offer to book, you tend to get a message that the rate is no longer available and they try to upsell you to a higher rate (a little shady and suspicious).

I’ve also had promo codes that I earned through referrals that get “lost” if you use and cancel a reservation (again support seems unwilling to help and only can answer yes or no questions).

Overall, if Supercom works, I guess it’s ok, but generally that seems to be few and far between. Would suggest using another app / service to find deals

By

At best not reliable, at worst a scam!

It is obvious to me that you have a bait and switch policy where you dangle a very cheap rate in front of me, then tell me when I try to purchase that the rate had expired and there are no more discounts available at this location. Then, If I don't buy from you immediately, you send me a message that "the bug has been fixed" and offer me the original "discounted rate" which may or may not be the same. Then, if something happens and I need to use the free cancellation, you ignore my efforts to contact you until after time had expired and make me jump through hoops in order to get my money back. This is a high tech scam!

The "bug" has happened to me on 3 different occasions with 3 different hotels in 3 different cities with 3 different dates. I try to give any business the benefit of the doubt, but this is far too much.

Don't fall for this!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The remark from the developer doesn’t even address the issue. It also didn’t address the non-existent customer service when I needed to cancel the reservation within the allotted time.

To their credit, they did finally give me a refund but it meant spending more time trying to explain to multiple people and to convince them that I wasn’t trying to scam them. It is a ridiculous process.

Great deals, and super helpful staff. You can text for help!!

I have now used Snaptravel for 2 vacations - once to Chattanooga and once to Washington DC. Snaptravel got me great deals on both hotels, and they have EXCELLENT customer service. You can text them any time and someone will get back to you quickly. One hotel we stayed at gave us issues with checking in, and even though it was 11pm on Sunday night, Snaptravel had someone available for me to text and they resolved it SO quickly. It wasn’t even their issue to fix, it was the hotels! Also I love that I can just text instead of call. Ya girls got anxiety and texting makes that soooo much easier for me.

By

Excellent Experience!

I pulled up outside the hotel and called the front desk about availability and cost. They quoted $89. I asked if they had any better offers. They said no, but I could try a travel app for a deal. Snaptravel came up near the top of the list for this hotel with the lowest price. I went ahead and reserved a room. I immediately went inside and was so impressed that the hotel already had my reservation and confirmation including my special requests. The process was so simple and much, much less than what the hotel had quoted. I will definitely be using Snaptravel again the next time I travel. Highly recommend!

Abysmal business and customer service

Reserved a hotel in nyc and was told a week later that it was no longer available. No worries…Was given a credit and booked a new hotel since we were still a week out. When we arrived at night in NYC, we realized that the hotel hasn’t officially opened yet and was still under construction. Somehow, Supercom was able to get us reservations for a business that doesn’t exist. We ended up having to book a new hotel at near twice the price the same night through a different provider. Customer service was atrocious. Agent was nice but not at all empowered to do anything, could not transfer us to a person at a higher level and could not provide any email address or contact issue to help us resolve the issue other than “to create a ticket in their system”. I suspect this is by design. Don’t get scammed!

BEWARE, Extremely Difficult to Get Refund

While SnapTravel was on ok service before the pandemic, and works decently enough when the stars align it is absolutely horrible and unprofessional at following through with refunds.

I had a very bad experience with a hotel that was covered in black mold, I was approved a no charge by the hotel management, yet SnapTravel decided to close my case same day quoting “multiple attempts to contact the hotel” (note, we were at the front desk the entire time and no attempts were evident).

It has been nearly a month of back and forth verifying with the hotel, and SnapTravel has failed to make any progress or even appear to care. They are requesting information that no hotel has or even provides in these cases, short and to the point it is a middleman scam. They want you to forget about it so they can make money off your trouble.

They often overbook rooms to multiple people and they cause issues at hotels where the clerks have to then hurry last second to accommodate these leading to you wasting time waiting in a parking lot while they figure out where you will sleep.

Pay the extra and book through the hotel website, or something that’s more reliable and professional.

SnapTravel makes...travel a snap🤷🏽‍♂️

I still travel quite a bit, and the one thing that use to cause me stress has all but been eliminated by this one app to rule them all!🙃
I use to bounce between car rental, hotel & airline apps in order to insure I was getting the best room possible for the cheapest rate...enter SnapTravel. With ST, it’s like all of the seemingly competing apps were combined, made easier to navigate, and provided with a helpful 24 hour customer support chat option.
Let’s just say with everything I need for booking the best, closest, cheapest room available in one app, I need not look any further.

Credits

Everything was heat, the suite exceeded my expectations for the price, service was great and no trouble checking in or out. However, I needed to extend my stay for one additional night and was unable to use my 30 $ credit I received from booking with Snaptravel. It stated that the credit would expire on my original check out date but upon trying to extend my stay the website wouldn’t allow me to access, let alone use the credit. Was only in Minnesota for my son’s graduation from basic training and don’t know if I’ll ever be n the area again, so that was the only downside/ semi misrepresentation I experienced with Supercom .

I had an amazing birthday!

I had a small hiccup when I got to the hotel the accommodations weren’t what was advertised or what I requested However, the first thing the next morning everything was rectified and the service for the entire rest of my stay was outstanding! The staff were amazingly awesome and very hospitable the room was extremely comfortable and cozy, overall I would say it was an excellent trip for my birthday thank you! I have already referred two of my friends to Snaptravel and I will definitely use this travel more often.

FL vacation

We often travel with extended family on our vacations. Everyone makes there own reservations at the same resort. I have found that I always get a better price/ deal than anyone else we travel with. SnapTravel is incredibly easy to use and deal with. The prices are the lowest even when traveling outside of the US. I always shop around at different discount travel sites and have never gotten better pricing than SnapTravel. Highly recommend, it’s a great way book a vacation.

Rescheduled trip

Great experience with Snap Travel. We had to cancel our Bahamas trip due to COVID and snap travel reimbursed us with credits. Lots of great hotel options to choose from. Just returned from Orlando using our credits and booked a small resort for later in the summer with our credits as well. During these unexpecting times we appreciated the flexibility with reimbursement, even though our hotel for our original trip was “non refundable.”

A Scam Company

Warning: This company scams people by tricking them to book at Hotels at low prices and then not following thru and submitting any record of that Booking to the Hotel. The Hotel i booked still has no record of SnapTravel ever making a transaction even though the money from my credit card was taken from me 6 days ago. I contacted the Hotel. The Hotel receptionist told me on the phone: “We do our best to cut ourselves off from SnapTravel because they are a 3rd party company that seems to never pay their bills on time to make sure these transactions get recorded into our system. They may be doing this intentionally. It’s a common complaint by all of our customers who use them.”

Mold everywhere NO REFUND

My family and I booked a hotel and were in the room and out in 5 min because Mold was everywhere on our inside of the bedding the manager was willing to give our money back but I had to go through snaptravel since I booked through them! Big mistake after even sending the nasty pictures they would not give a refund so money completely down the drain. It was disgusting and I get that that’s not there fault but the overall greed from them was ridiculous that was something beyond my control and a health hazard but still would not give the money back. And I’ll make sure everyone knows it because this could happen to anyone.

Best travel site online

Snap travel has proven to be the best site for me and I’ve used all of them. Not only do they have the lowest prices but then they give you points that allow you 10% off of your next booking which for me was a godsend because I was staying in hotels for about 30 days while My home was being renovated. Thank you snap travel

By

Not a fan!!!!

I used to use Supercom. What was the last straw for me was that they kept sending me credits for $30 towards next room stay. So one would think hey that’s $30 off your next visit. What’s not mentioned is that you can only use 10% of the credit ( which has an expiration date) at a time. Yep that’s insane so you would have to book a room at least 4 times to use the whole $30 before it expires. The customer service department is working from home so they have to reach out to the managers and they’ll get back to you. Good luck. Try googling the phone number or finding on Supercom . Unless you ask the rep your chatting w for the number you probably won’t find it.

Con artists that charge and never refund!

Stay away from these fraudsters! 670+ complaints with the Better Business Bureau for a reason.... they are con artists! Seriously, they setup illega scams using PayPal so you are charged before seeing totals and before confirming. Ever notice the CTO is listed as the top guy... because he designed this scam! I would highly advise you ignore the paid reviews and fake ones submitted by their own employees. Go to the BBB and request police reports from the Toronto Police... this company is loaded with frauds and criminals! I’ve filed multiple complaints with PayPal and my bank for fraud, you should do the same when they steal money from you!

Ease of use and best rates

We used Snap travel for a recent Vegas trip. Got the best possible rate and we were afforded a beautiful room on anvery high floor with great view and a high end hotel. Rate unbeatable.
Would recommend using app.
You can opt for texts.
I also had to cancel prior reservations due to covid and thru “chat” the reimbursement was seamless.
This is now my go-to site for hotel reservations.

By

Best deals on the Internet

Super easy to use once you use it for a little bit.

The prices are always lower than everyone else except for very rare instances where they’re about the same as other companies that don’t give you as much of a choice in where you get to stay.

I use it every time I travel unless I’m renting a house or condo.

By

Scam

They’ll advertise a price on google. You input your personal information and within that minute the price has shot up by over $150. Don’t waste your time. Their poor attempt at advertising will lead you to click and now they have your information and you still don’t have a better deal than any of the other reputable booking sites. Customer service is no help at all. Repeats that they can’t offer a deal that was advertised even when you have the screenshot from 1 minute prior. Disgusting

Easiest Hotel Reservation I’ve Ever Made

I needed last minute rooms in Santa Barbara. This was so easy and the price was the absolute lowest. SnapTravel arranged for an upgrade and followed up to make sure our check in was a smooth transaction - which it was! I will definitely use them again and again!

The best app and prices for scheduling rooms and impromptu stays.

We found them in August of last year. We needed to book something that day. We were amazed at how easy and the price we found. Have used Supercom every time since to reserve rooms. We travel all the time! Thank you!

By

Great app so far

Was a little hesitant to try out since their prices were low but so far I’ve had nothing but good experiences. It’s my go to and I’ve told family and friends to give it a try

By

Great APP

Used Supercom on a recent vacation. Supercom is easy to use and saved us money on both legs of our trip. I will definitely use Supercom again and will refer it to all my friends.

By

Great App

I actually literally found Supercom last min and found a very good rate. Everyone I’ve talked to actually have never heard of the company so I am telling them. Thank you

Stay away

Worst ever booked a hotel arrived at the hotel wasn’t even the hotel that I booked instead they booked me into some meth infested hell hole i wasn’t even there 10 minutes and already had a woman screaming for help cops showed up everything. No good costumer service good luck trying to get a hold of them they don’t even have a phone number to call them. Never again

By

Terrible Customer Service

Booked a weekend trip with them for a Miami Stay at Nobu. Corona happened, and snap will not accommodate ANY way.

their policies had very fine print with an arbitrary date of (booked after April 14). Fine print and they seem to get off on being unreachable.

Book through a better company and better off direct with the hotels next time.

By

Good Prices

The process to book travel was very easy and the prices were often lower than competitors like Expedia.

Snap travel

Snap travel is amazing and will never use anything else. Great customer service and finding me great unbeatable deals

Snaptravel

This is the way to save. Cheapest prices online. Can’t beat them. I recommend snaptravel to everyone that likes saving.

I did not book as just as lpalaci1 stated, once I entered info including credit card, then clicked to book, the site stated that rate is sold out but a 43% higher rate is available. Relying on lpalaci1's advice, I did not keep going as likely the price Snaptravel would finally honor would be the same as reputable sites that honor the rate they offer. It seems a violation of basic business law (offer met by acceptance and tender of consideration [typically funds...but could the data and the time stolen by the ruse be considered to be of value?] creates a contract). So by my experience this evening, Snaptravel is fundamentally dishonest. Going forward I will avoid, and my counsel is you do the same.

Dmitriy Ginzburg   2 years ago

This is the worst company ever. They are dishonest, thieves and do not keep their promises. I had a credit issued due to Pandemic cancellation, but then they took it away and said it expired. DO NOT EVER BOOK FROM THEM!

Unfortunately I’m going to have to leave this review because of the awful management of this company. My partner and I were supposed to take a trip but a couple days before tested positive for COVID-19. Being the responsible people we are we obviously cancelled our entire trip and quarantined in our home. My partner is a healthcare worker so this trip was meant to serve as a nature based stress reliever. I received a form of refund from every company except this one. This agency was extremely hard to get in contact with, did not take our case seriously, and refused to provide management or supervision contact. They claimed that the hotel refused to compromise but when I contacted the hotel they said it was in the hands of the agency, which is why I sought out answers. All I got in return was “your case is closed”. I’ve booked with many agencies before and have never been treated so poorly like this. They lack a good business morale in these unprecedented times. I highly recommend you DO NOT use this agency for future travel bookings as they lack customer service and business etiquette. Trust me there are plenty of other places far more understanding and helpful especially in these times, save your money and don’t get it stolen by these thieves.

Worst company I've ever dealt with. Tried to cancel due to COVID-19 travel ban, which came completely out the blue due to a mutation of the virus. 0 empathy for people who are out of pocket hundreds. Will never use them again! Absolutely pissed off!

Susan Bacchus   3 years ago

WORST COMPANY EVER. STICK WITH ORBITZ OR EXPEDIA WHO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON IN THIS WORLD. I paid $826 for a trip on November 6th. My grandfather who lives with me became ill with Covid and I advised the company that there is no way that he lives with me and I don't have it. They refused to credit me anything and told me since I have negative covid results (I received a week before my grandfather was tested) I would not have a problem. I called the hotel and they advised me that I should not come as I would infect alot of people. They also advised me that they have no problems changing my reservations for a later date in 2021 but the merchant has to approve it. They refused. They rather me travel with covid than to give me a credit (SO THEY DONT LOSE MONEY) what a horrible company. Don't give them your money. They don't care about people or businesses.

Karen Sahota   3 years ago

Worst piece of shit service. Couldn't refund me within an hour of booking and even better i just wanted credits to book at a better place. The only reason this place gives hotels for cheap is because they are run down and bed-bug ridden. Customer service sucks literally took me around in a circle, because apparently if the hotel does not help you then neither can they, so you're just stuck by yourself. They do not care about you, only your money!! money hungry whores

Horrible experience!! Made reservations with snap travel in June for Hawks Cay Resort. Paid $1194.95.When we arrived at the resort the front desk said there were two reservations and canceled one. We stayed for 4 days , checked out , paid our resort fees and taxes at that time . In September we noticed that the resort had charged us another $840.39. When I contacted them they said they were unable to collect payment from snap travel. I contacted snap travel and they have given me the run around since September refusing to pay the resort or send me a refund. The resort even contacted them on my behalf and they refused to help. I’m would not recommend them to anyone.

Very difficult to get money back. They overbooked me to a hotel with no availability and won't refund me because it was their fault. Incredibly insane how they can still operate.

Rachel   3 years ago

When I asked for a refund for a stay that I no longer needed I was treated horribly and never got it back. Do not recommend. I never received a confirmation email, but after enquiring with ingliston (the hotel) they confirmed that the booking was successful. I then found a better deal advertised by ingliston and booked directly through them instead and ingliston then requested a refund from Expedia/snap-travel on behalf of myself. Ingliston hotel was then told by Expedia that I would receive a refund. However, weeks later I had still not received a refund and decided to query this with Expedia who were extremely rude and were no help at all. I then contacted the hotel who kindly chased it up for me. After looking at their records the hotel informed me that it looks like I have been refunded, but they believe that Expedia gave my refund to snap travel instead of directly to me. They also believe that the confirmation email was sent to snap travel instead of to myself which is extremely disappointing. This whole process has been a massive hassle to both myself and ingliston hotel (who have been amazing in supporting me). I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication between snap travel and Expedia as this is obviously the root of this issue. I was told again and again that since it has been more than 30 days since my stay that I couldn’t file a complaint or receive a refund. I have been trying to get this refund since the 3/8/20 (one day after my stay) and have been in contact with both ingliston and Expedia since this time. I was only told last week that I had to contact snap travel to receive my refund. I have never been told that there was a limit of 30 days to file complaints. However, even if I had been aware of this, I made my complaint within 30 days and it was a result of a lack of communication on snap travel’s part as well as Expedia that it has taken so long.

This is the worst agency I have EVER had to EVER be a part of. They took my money and told me that they could not return my money because the hotel refused to pay. So I contacted the hotel and they said they would pay for the refund. So I told SNAP TRAVEL that and they said to provide them with documentation. I did that then they want to tell me that there is a 3rd party that will not allow it. THEY ARE LIARS!!!!! I WOULD NEVER EVER USE THIS APP. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS A JOKE. IT TOOK ME 10 DAYS TO GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE AND STILL COULD TALK TO A PERSON. GET OUT NOW WHILE YOU CAN! DO NOT use this service they will take your money

We booked a stay at the Sirata beach resort in st.Pete, fl. for spring break from March 18th-21st 2020, it was listed on Snaptravel for a great price. After booking it however, COVID started to become a pressing matter. A PANDEMIC, if you will... businesses(restaurants and bars) started to close after we booked, so we did not want to take any chances due to local businesses closing, and out of concern for catching COVID. I thought for sure, there would be no issues getting our money back due to the reason for cancelling. But good ole snap travel refuses to give us back our money. We disputed it with our CC company and they sided with snap travel, due to there “no cancellation” policy. They even have a coronavirus reason for cancelling on their website, but trust me, you will NOT get your money back, even if you die, you will NOT be refunded... they said if the hotel agrees to refund them, they will issue you a refund, that is also a lie!!! Per the hotel mangagee, they did. Not receive ANY payment for our stay and assured us it was snap travel aka Priceline, who was keeping our money. I highly recommend using the hotel direct to book or with a better affiliation. DO NOT USE SNAP TRAVEL!! There was 2 other families of 4 that also booked the same hotel as us through snaptravel, and they also were not refunded and NO FUTURE BOOKING was even offered due to the pandemic we were facing!!!

I booked a hotel room through this agency. When I arrived at the hotel, my four-year-old who is special needs (with a trach and feeding tube and various other medical challenges) started having severe reactions due to pet allergies/mold in the pet friendly and not very clean hotel. We immediately left and booked the hotel next door to stay and administer emergency breathing treatments. The hotel willingly tried to issue my refund given the fact that we had to leave immediately after check in. Snaptravel refuses. When I called, the agent refused to put the supervisor on the phone and refused to give me information about their corporate office. She said she can't even tell me WHERE the corporate office is located. The agent then said the supervisor would call me back... As I expected, I never got a return phone call. I have an email from the hotel clearly stating that they are willing to give me a refund but since it's booked thru a 3rd party (snaptravel) they're standing in the way. They claim they were unable to negotiate with the hotel on my behalf which makes absolutely no sense. I have never seen a company so unwilling to cooperate. This company is a sinking ship at the rate they're doing business and how they treat their customers. If the hotel witnessed this situation first hand and is willing to give the money back, this company should not stand in the way. Above all, customer service is extremely hard to reach and very unprofessional if you finally do reach somebody.

My family used Snap Travel for a weeks trip through Tennessee. Through this we pushed the wrong date for a hotel booking, we instantly contacted Snap Travel and they said they would be happy to help. Weeks went by, while staying in constant contact, to no avail. They today, over 3 weeks later said they were unable to assist us, stating that the hotel denied the cancellation. Which is incorrect, because we have the letter from the manager of the hotel confirming cancellation with full refund. The reason the hotel is denying Snap Travels cancellation is because they dragged their feet for weeks. They also said they were unable to provide the correspondence from the hotel saying the request was denied... most likely because it never existed. Avoid this scam at all costs. We found it was much more sensible to book directly through the hotel. I will never use Snap Travel again, not will I ever recommend their lack of services.
