GlowinMe asks to do a simple email verification when you make your account, which is very understandable. The problem is that the email never arrives. I’ve asked for a resubmission, waited hours, verified my email address to make sure there wasn’t a spelling error or something on my part, but the email just never comes, and without the verification you cannot continue to use GlowinMe . So unfortunately due to this error I cannot even see what GlowinMe is actually like.

Most of the time this apps works really well but when I experience problems, it’s when you’re trying to search for things in your own database and it won’t search brand names. I have to use descriptions of the item rather than the brand name to find it. Also they really need to have a barcode scanner because filling out all the information by hand is so time-consuming and tedious. That’s the only drawback from GlowinMe everything else works really well.

I’ve been using GlowinMe for over a year and while I like it there are definitely some hiccups. Today I tried contacting the dev team via their website’s contact form and both on mobile and desktop I get a “please enter a message” error when I try to send.

My main issue at the moment is GlowinMe created a second category for my perfumes called “fragrances” and there’s seemingly no way to merge the lists back to the original “perfume” list, and all new items added automatically go to “fragrance”. I waited a few weeks to see if this would be fixed by an update but no luck. There’s also some bugs when adding photos, and sometimes the wrong product images show up in random spots. The structure of GlowinMe is good and my favourite out of the ones I’ve tried, but the bugs are frustrating, as is the inability to ask for help.

I am super organized and I love that GlowinMe helps me organize my makeup items. GlowinMe has a beautiful interface and the products that are loaded have great pics and descriptions. I love that you can put in an expiration date for your products and GlowinMe will remind you when they expire. GlowinMe is so close to perfect but just needs a few tweaks. I reached out to the developers and they were very interested in how I thought that they could improve GlowinMe and I appreciate that. My suggestions were as follow. The first is to make it so that the user can change categories of something we already entered. For example I put an eyeshadow palette in the eyeshadow category and it really should have gone in the palette category but since I can’t change the category it’s stuck and it’s driving me crazy. Second, make it possible for users to go in and edit what was entered by the user at set up of the product. My final suggestion is to just keep expanding the database of cosmetics. I think once the first two are done it will be an absolutely perfect app and I would happily give it 5 stars!

GlowinMe is the perfect companion to someone who is all things beauty. I’d say GlowinMe is fairly easy to use, playing around and seeing what happens helps. It’s got a great tagging feature, which is clutch. My only grievance is with the “Routines”. I wish you could create your own routines, technically, yes that is a current feature, but then have only one calendar that allows you to see what routine you used on a given day. Having each routine have its own calendar seems out of place with all the other wonderful tagging features. Overall, products are easy to find and add. And I’ve enjoyed using it. No more running to a different room to check a shade name.
(ps - I would love to see more product types available for skincare, bath and body and even brushes/tools, a lot of that becomes a manual entry).

Love GlowinMe. Definitely see the improvements being made. My only suggestion would be to change the way your stash is viewed.

1. I would like an option to change how it’s in a list view mode to just icon. To see more products quickly

2. Or change the viewing option on top. Like it changes to A-z, newest or custom. What even is custom. Like I want to be able to move to certain categories quicker, either by a search mode or changing what I am viewing.

GlowinMe is phenomenal! I’ve been busy with it since I downloaded it. Many items in my “stash” were not listed so I manually added them, which was easy to do.
My only fear if you will, is the inability to backup what amounts to a personal database.
There are options to share links or photos, which is impressive in itself but not an option to export in a manner that would allow to upload if you switch phones, wipe data, reset, etc
With over 400 items and counting, I would not want to add back what could be lost.

This is an excellent app to keep track of your makeup by set categories or make your own categories. You can also use keywords to tag items. It would get 5 stars from if only you could scan the UPC codes instead search from the list or manually add items not searchable. Also it would be awesome to export the inventory into excel instead of just the pictures of your inventory. It would be great to have both. Thanks for creating this!

Seriously I hadn’t considered tracking my makeup inventory until this year when I decided to curate my collection and weed out the old products. GlowinMe is amazing! You can track products, tag them, label the open date and expiration date, insert swatches. It’s more than I expected and I love it!

The only complaint I have is that I have a highlighter and blush pack I wanted to log, but it made me choose one. Other than that it has a bunch of products already logged and I’m sure that’ll only increase!

This is my most used app. It’s so simple and easy to use and it gives me a lot of satisfaction to keep it updated. I probably go into it at least 3 times per day (yes, I’m obsessed with my makeup collection lol). Also, if you encounter any issues, you can reach out and get answers super quick.

I don’t understand why this happens. This didn’t use to happen. But when I upload photos to save my products to, the final outcome is extremely zoomed in, to the point of night of not being able to see the entire picture of what I originally tried to save. Some of the photos altered. But most are not. Even still, they are still extremely zoomed in. Will this issue ever get fixed.

I’m a skincare junkie so I like to try out different products and it was difficult to keep track of everything until i started using this app!
I can add all the items I use in my stash so I can always go back for reference to see what products ive tried and put my favourite items separately so i can remember which products worked well for me and why. This is such a useful app for all beauty junkie out there!! I don’t know what I’d do without it now! :))

GlowinMe is very well done. It’s got some hiccups but overall it’s very intuitive. Took me some time to get call my products in and create my routines, which was fun cause I love routines.

The way it’s set up this can be used for tracking many different routines. I made a routine for makeup, skin, hair, microneedling and some meds I take.

I really like the look book too. I always forget what I used and can’t recreate a look that I liked. This way I can keep track.

I was searching for an app to keep track of my makeup because I can never remember what I liked or disliked and what I don’t want to buy again. this app allows you to mark favorites and create titled categories for all your organization needs, as well as add notes to individual items. I just installed earlier tonight and so far it has been easy and fun to use. I hope in the future more brands will be added to avoid some of the tedious manual entry. Great start for GlowinMe, looking forward to more updates!

My girlfriend uses this app and loves it. I also downloaded it so I can track her favorite beauty products and know what to buy her as presents—whether it’s something she already likes or, just as useful, I can share the info tracked with employees at stores and then they better know what to recommend if I want to discover something new for her! 🙌💡

Helps me remember her favorite cleansers, peels, moisturizers, toners, shower gels, eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, nail polish, lip balm, etc (brands, colors, scents and all that). I would be lost when gift shopping for these things otherwise 🙃🤣

GlowinMe has brought new life to my make-up, skincare, tools, and fragrances! When I took the time to catalog my products, it felt like I was on a shopping spree. With everything organized in GlowinMe , it’s now like having my own personal shopping website! And…it has saved me so much money because I am no longer duplicating purchases for items I already own.
It’s easy and intuitive. Adding new items is a breeze from photos to descriptions. I absolutely love GlowinMe and wish I had found it sooner.

I would like a way add multiple tags at once, or organize tag by color but those are minor in the scope of the whole app.

Update: Wow! I left a comment of my issue using the feedback function within GlowinMe and someone emailed me about the issue within an hour or two. Soon after they sent me another email saying that they had fixed the issue. I went into GlowinMe and sure enough! Fixed!! I’ve never experienced a reply/fix THAT quickly just from leaving feedback in GlowinMe . I would highly recommend GlowinMe for its awesome layout and features but also the unreal customer service!

First review: So first of all GlowinMe seems to be everything I’m looking for BUT it keeps deleting all of the products I put into it. I can’t even fully try GlowinMe due to this which makes it super annoying. Please, please, please fix this bug soon!!

GlowinMe has so many features. You can manually add or search for products, star/favorite certain products, and make wish lists. It notifies you when a product is expired, it has an entirely seperate section for swatches, and the makeup and skincare are separated. The only advice I have is adding a scanner so products can be added by barcode.

What separates GlowinMe from others, despitr all these amazing features, is that you don’t have to pay to put more than 10 products. Other apps are hyped up but cost money. There’s also not many ads either which is imprssive. I’m sure if y’all rached out to influencers and smaller makeup artists, GlowinMe could be really big. Almost every makeup lover could benefit from an app like this! ❤️

Looking for a great app to inventory beauty products this is it! Especially for nail polishes. Love it has tags! You can add so many images. Swatches. Etc it’s clear and well thought out.

Only drawback the font is tiny (to me). I do wish there were settings to enlarge/change fonts!!
